Our family really enjoyed this cabin for our stay in Tahoe. The kitchen and balcony dining areas were fun to dine at and the layout and accommodations were great. We particularly appreciated the use of their stainless steel pots, bikes, and beach chairs. It was also helpful that the driveway was large enough to accommodate more than 1 car. Upon arriving, we did notice that many of the plates, cookware, and silverware were still dirty so we had to rewash many of them, and some of the pans appeared to be at end of life with Teflon chipping away and could use replacement. There were also no hot pads nor kitchen towels which made cooking more difficult.

Sounds like the cabin was a great fit for your family's Tahoe trip — dining on the balcony, the extra gear like bikes and beach chairs, and a driveway with real room to park all add up to an easy stay. Beautiful Property, on of our favorite locations, almost perfect!

Beautiful property and overall very clean. We did have a little problem entering because the door lock tumbler was just spinning. Also a couple of the windows would not close. Avantstay was great and sent out a great guy to show me how to deal with the door and help me close the windows that were broken. I said that worked for us and they could fix them after we left. The classic sofas and pillows in the living room looked great but we were more comfortable in the upstairs family room.

Great location. Property is quite dated. It was clean and comfortable other than the smoke from the Caldor fire. Not sure we would stay here again without a significant upgrade to the property.
