Beware you won’t get your deposit back.

I messaged the hostess asking why we were not refunded the deposit but they just asked me to not contact them. No explanation nothing. We left the place exactly the way we came except we stripped the beds for them before leaving we walked through to make sure everything was neat and orderly. We own many long term rentals ourselves so I’m am very experienced in the expectations.

Thanks for your feedback, Jenna. Please understand that the deposit was never collected. Although it was stated that the refundable deposit will be "collected at the property", this amount was never collected from you upon arrival nor during the stay. Please refer to the amount charged on your card and it will not reflect a $495 charge. I believe there is confusion about this refundable deposit and we have reached out to VRBO for clarification on this matter. Please feel free to reach out to us so we can further assist you. Nevertheless, you have been a wonderful guest, and we hope we can host you again in the future!

Ok experience

We were excited to stay at this house. The house was very clean and well decorated all around. The most disappointing thing however was that the hot tub did not work and that was one of the main reasons for booking this listing. That was the biggest downside. Everything else was alright.

Thanks for your feedback, Omotoke. We always keep our house nice and clean for our guests to have a comfortable stay. As for the hot tub, we made sure that it was turned on but you need to adjust the settings on the side panel. We apologize for the inconvenience. We have made several improvements to our home and we hope we can host you again next time so we can improve your first impression.
