There were a few minor problems with the unit. The ice maker was not working properly; the shower door in the main bedroom would not close; the carpet in the main bedroom is not completely attached which could cause someone to trip; the overhead light in the main bedroom was not working and the fan in the second bedroom was noisy.Other than those issues, the unit is good

Fabulous location, will definitely be returning

This property was very clean, well stocked and that king bed was so comfortable! The shower was relaxing, the view was sensational. Great place, highly recommend.

We enjoyed staying here. The ocean is so close the the pool area. Everything was clean, and everyone was nice. Gulf Shores is a peaceful alternative to crowded beaches in Florida.

Sweet spot at Gulf Shores

Unit was very clean and as advertised. unfortunately our stay was shortened by hurricane Helene.

The condo had the most amazing view of the ocean right on the ocean. Exellent accomidations. The only complaint was the early checkout time.

Great stay. Good location with ease of access to beach with kids. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Only issue was glass shower door in master bath didn’t work and neighbors dog yelping.

Beach Stay

Great location, easy parking, elevator was great, pool was very handy and perfect beach access. The condo itself could use some TLC to make it even more enjoyable. The beach does not allow tents over 7x7x4, so our tent was not allowed. Should put that on the info.

Great short stay

This is a great unit (don't understand why anyone would really give a bad review and I always read all before booking). I loved the "sunroom" and being able to open the windows and hearing the waves. Only thing I would change in the description is and I looked and didn't see anything about not being able to rent umbrella/chairs for the beach, because Condo association doesn't allow it and making storage unit more accessible if you are going to allow guests to use your beach supplies. We couldn't get into storage (due to lock being corroded) and ended up buying umbrellas. However, was a very relaxing but fast trip for my family, and if I end up in the area again, would consider booking again. Unit have more than expected! Thanks!!

Lipstick on a pig, disappointing stay

Condo reeked of cigarette smoke the moment we opened the door during check-in, very off-putting for non-smokers. Public network WiFi that was provided during our stay did not work, found clumps of hair stuck along shower wall in master bathroom upon arrival, only 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 trash bag provided for a condo that sleeps 6. For a 3 day stay over $1.5k, we expected a better (and cleaner) experience at this condo. Left a review directly with ABVR over a week ago upon check-out and did not hear anything from management so leaving a review here as well.

Hi, Austi; we sincerely apologize for the smell of cigarette smoke and the mess that was there upon your arrival. The situation will be addressed and sent to our maintenance and staff. As for the toiletries, it is stated in the check-in information that each property will be stocked with a starter kit that includes 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 trash bag liner per trash can, and 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen. Guests must supply their own for the rest of their stay. We hope you enjoyed your overall stay and give us another chance. We would love to host your next vacation.

Was not happy with this condo. Very blah! Dark rms same color in all. Ugly gold. Carpet that had humps in it and we all kept tripping on it! Curtains from a funeral home it looked like. Needs updates. Girls bed skirts dragged on floor. Would not stay in this condo again. Had 64 last year and was beautiful! Vrbo should have checked this out for there fee they charge. Shame!!

Poor communication

Overall we enjoyed our stay. I do have to say though that communication with the property manager was poor. We had several questions/issues throughout the stay and it was impossible to reach someone. Everytime we called, left messages they were either not returned or returned hours later. Lock box at arrival was broken which made check and in and check out difficult. Decor (which is not a major issue) was falling apart. We returned from swimming and a picture had completely fallen off the wall, frame broken. It had been glued together and fixed with tape. Of course these things are not functional to the condo, but some small repairs to the aesthetics of the place go a long way when spending so much on a vacation. Things shouldn't be falling off the wall because they are taped together. Pool was filthy for most of the stay, we actually had to call someone to have it cleaned which took hours. Management needs to provide list of vendors that are allowed to rent umbrells and beach chairs from. We had to walk down several condos because companies stated they were not allowed to set up there. Made it more of a hassle with all the beach things with kids. Overall great location central to alot of restaurants and attractions.

Smells like smoke

The condo smells like smoke, though the listing said nonsmoking. Furniture, beds, everything all reeked of smoke. Our luggage smelled like smoke when we left. Other than that, great access to the beach and great location in town.

Beautiful Gulf Beach Views

Although we go to the Gulf Yearly, this was our first time in Gulf Shores, it was great, would definitely return, we were close to everything but this Unit is still far enough to not be overly booked with tourists, we alway have a balcony so I wasn’t sure how we would like the Sunroom area, well it was amazing, it’s like sitting on a balcony in AC, windows do open safely to listen to the beach waves if you choose to do so, I also Love the pool area, it didn’t have to big huge for my sons to love it, & it’s definitely Beach front too! Only issue we had was the Ruku Type TV wouldn’t pick up internet to watch anything but we never called about it, the master worked, the living room worked, & other than at nighttime we weren’t there to watch TV anyways, would recommend this unit!
