Walloon Lake Gold Coast- Réservez dès maintenant pour 2019 !!!

Nous sommes juste sur le lac. Une des rares propriétés en Wallonie avec vue sur le coucher du soleil, cour plate et plage de sable / lac bas. Nous sommes situés à seulement 9 km de Boyne City, à 11 km de la station de ski de Boyne Mountain et à 14 km de Petoskey (à proximité de Boyne Highlands). Notre chalet au bord du lac est loué toute l'année ski de neige en hiver, planche à neige, patinage sur glace et raquette.

Ce chalet est situé sur la rive sud de la côte d'or de Walloon Lake! Tout au long de l’année, profitez des magnifiques couchers de soleil depuis le pont au bord du lac de 20 pieds sur 20 pieds. Une grande cour plate et herbeuse à quelques pas de la plage de sable et du lac à fond de sable. Merveilleux pour les enfants et les adultes! 'Bulman' dock avec grande terrasse ensoleillée et un ascenseur à bateaux à la disposition des clients (sur demande). Comprend une terrasse arrière abritée pour un ensoleillement sans vent et un magnifique jardin fleuri pour des fleurs tout l'été!

Le chalet dispose de cinq chambres et de trois salles de bain complètes. Trois chambres à l'étage (deux lits queen et une chambre avec lits superposés pour les enfants avec deux lits jumeaux) partagent une salle de bain complète avec baignoire à pied griffe d'origine et douche mise à jour. La chambre principale a une salle de bain complète avec douche à l'italienne avec barres d'appui et un banc pour le bain assis. Coin salon pour le café du matin et le bureau avec vue sur le lac juste à côté du maître!
Au premier étage, la chambre comprend un lit double et une salle de bain complète avec douche en verre et carrelage.

Grand salon / salle à manger avec fauteuils et canapé surdimensionnés pour une soirée cinéma en famille. Accueil offre la télévision par câble et wi-fi. Tables à manger en plein air pour attraper ces couchers de soleil glorieux tous les soirs!

Nous sommes habituellement situés à moins de 1,5 km du 'pied' (le village de Wallonie), qui comprend un grand parc familial et une plage publique, un magasin général, un bureau de poste, un restaurant / bar, une boulangerie et des boutiques. L'accès au lac pour les vedettes de lancement, les excursions en canoë sur Bear River, le rafting et la randonnée le long de Bear River est également disponible au pied.

Our stay on Walloon Lake was just perfect! The cottage was updated and comfortable. Everything you could need for cooking was there. The master suite is quite large and comfortable. The lake view dinners on the gracious deck were to die for. They have a nice little beach and all the water toys. Jennifer was such a good communicator. Highly recommend this property!

Great location,

Overall the accommodations were adequate for our needs. While the basic cottage was dated, it was very clean and kept çurrent with items like WiFi,cable TV and appliances. We occupied most of our time outside on the large deck and on the front lawn, which was spacious and accommodated our pick up games.

Cute and Charming Cottage

What a fantastic cottage in the best (in our opinion) location on Walloon Lake—beautiful sunset views. The outdoor space is perfect, with a large deck, a big flat yard, and dock space for our pontoon rental. The bunk beds were small for the over 6'2" 23-year-olds in our crew (lol), but they would be great for kids. Jennifer was responsive and a lovely host! We hope to rent again soon!

Walloon classic heaven

Lovely property in an ideal setting. Stunning sunsets and the wind rustling through the trees was so peaceful. The property was, in the words of college bound teens, “sooo cozy and charming”. Wow, those are teens saying that! They loved the comfy couch and oversized chairs. The master suite was very nice with a cozy fireside glow to fall asleep to. The kitchen was well equipped and met all our needs. We had 5 people staying and never once did we feel cramped. Would rent again and again for a timeless experience. Thank you, Jen for being a great host!!

We loved the back porch and the dock as we rented a super gorgeous and fun pontoon boat and could easily dock it right there! The sunsets were amazing! Location a ten!!! The place was beautifully decorated and updated bathrooms so pretty and strong water pressure-:) easy parking and the kitchen was fully stocked and easy to find everything! My family and I had an absolute ball. Great yard and fun beach w all the toys- highly recommend! Cozy fun and great for families

Perfect spot for family vacation

This home has everything you need; it is very well stocked. We loved lounging on the front porch, dining outside, swimming and watching the sunset. We rented a pontoon to explore the lake. Went to Bill’s farm market in Petoskey and made use of the grill. The host was very helpful and responsive. The whole family would like to come back next year.

Beautiful lakefront home! Highly recommend!

We loved staying in this beautiful home on Walloon Lake. The lake itself, the 5 bedrooms and proximity to the village of Walloon were three of its best features. The home is very clean, well-maintained, and has the authentic "up north" feel of a family cottage. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time and will return as often as we can!

Perfect location and property for family

This house and property were perfect for our families. The house is well kept and well stocked for a family getaway. This home has a wonderful beach for young kids, excellent location on the lake and provides easy access to the best spots in northern Michigan. We loved it and truly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect family lake house

Cozy cottage with plenty of room for 2 families and a set of grandparents. The lot was perfect for playing yard games and enjoying the beach! The kayak and paddle boards were wonderful to be able to use. Great location on our favorite lake! Jennifer was very easy to work with and quick to respond. We look forward to returning soon! Wonderful week in Walloon!

Perfect house for our family of 10. Beautiful, clear lake with room for the boat was perfect for our group. With little ones really appreciated the shallow sandy beach access and the older ones appreciated the paddle boards and kayaks! Fabulous location with gorgeous sunset views. House was fully stocked with all the towels and kitchen implements we could ask for. Charming!

Great stay!

No issues as everything was accurate in the description. Great location although some road noise. Cottage was well stocked with everything that was needed (they held back on nothing!) Clean and great shape. Shore/beach area was perfect just wish it was warm enough to swim. Jennifer the host was accommodating and very easy to work with. We recommend this property!

What a wonderful property! The lake was amazing! The kayaks, paddle boards and conoe were great to have. The house has plenty of room and the kitchen is stocked with everything you will possibly need. Walloon Lake is a dream come true!

Charming Cozy Cottage

This rental will give you everything you could want for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Kitchen is very well equipped for cooking your own meals. The beach and water is great for both adults and families with small children alike. Location makes access to area towns just a short drive away. We would recommend this rental to anyone.

Great family vacation!

We were a group of 8: 2 in their 60's, 2 in their 30's, and 4 children aged 2 - 8. The kitchen is very well equipped; most any gadget you need is available and there are enough plates and silverware to feed an army! Very nice selection of pots and pans too. The beds and pillows were very comfortable...and I'm picky about that sort of thing. Living room furniture is very comfortable and there is plenty of seating on the deck for outdoor meals. We rented a pontoon from Tommy's in the village of Walloon for one of our 2 weeks. Picking up and dropping off was a breeze as the cottage is just 1/2 mile from town. The lake is nice and clean with a sandy bottom; perfect for our little ones. We did experience some swimmer's itch, but that is pretty normal for many of the area lakes.

We love this home on beautiful Walloon Lake. Perfect location especially with kids! And the house have everything you need for a fabulous lake vacation. And Jennifer is wonderful to work with on all fronts. We can’t wait to get back as soon as possible!

October Wedding

We used the house for 3 young families (6 adults and 3 young kids). We were able to stay comfortably and having 3 bathrooms to all get ready for the wedding was great. Very large porch and backyard for kids. Too cool in October to enjoy the outside but would have been great in summer.

As kids, our parents packed us into the station wagon with all the pets and we spent the whole summer at the lake. Now as adults, we bring our children as often as we can. There is nothing like Walloon!

This cottage is a three season rental: Spring, Summer and Fall: Spring come join the Morel Mushroom hunt and Festival in mid-May, Summer is great for boating, swimming, kayaking, sunning, shopping, and enjoying the lake with friends. The Fall color change is a must see and the local golf courses can't be beat! Enjoy the local wineries any time. Five wine and cider makers all within five miles of the cottage!
