Update: We recently installed a control panel to operate the spa locally. We loved hosting Carolyn and her group! We always thrive to improve and we appreciate our guests and the time they take to write honest and details feedback. As for the laundry coin, it is stated on the VRBO listing under amenities. We also provide complementary coins for loads proportionally to the duration of the stay and number of guests for our guests’ convenience. We are looking forward to hosting Carolyn again!

It was a pleasure hosting you and your family, Carol, and we are happy we were able to address the unfortunate pool issue the night you arrived and within minutes of your call. The pool maintenance person did fail us, lying to us that he was maintaining the pool while being paid for unrendered services. We of course fired him instantly and treated the pool that night which allowed your family to fully enjoy the pool the first morning of your stay and for the remainder of your stay as you mentioned. We made sure to follow up with you first thing in the morning and you assured us that the pool is great. We are very happy you had a great week at our home and we hope to be hosting you again. NEW update: We replaced the pavers with new pavers in the whole pool and spa area and installed a control panel to operate the spa locally.

Your constructive insights are invaluable, and we take them seriously. We previously offered complimentary coins for laundry, but we have since upgraded our services. Guests now enjoy complimentary laundry without having to pay. The pool is an automated saltwater pool, serviced regularly to ensure it remains in top condition; we also request our guests to wash off the sand before getting into the spa. This particular type of wasp is harmless and should not affect your enjoyment of the sand area. However, as we cannot control nature, we provide wasp spray for our guests' convenience. We provide high-speed internet and typically experience no issues unless there is a broader problem in the area. During your stay, the internet was disrupted due to the storm. Once Frontier, our service provider, resolved the issue, the internet was restored. As for the squicky beds in the kids’ room, our, housekeeping maintenance person tightened the screws upon your departure to prevent this from happening. As always, we encourage our guests to inform us of any issues during their stay so we can address them promptly. Thank you for pointing out the Nives sharpness, we have purchased Nives’ sharpener for all of our properties in light of your feedback!

Thank you Deb for the feedback. We completely replaced the backyard pavers and the whole pool area has brand-new pavers now!!! I am sorry to hear that you missed the beautiful beach, Apollo Beach Nature Preserve, just a few minute drive from our home. I am surprised you could not find it on Google Maps, but it is indeed there :) and that you ended up arriving at a neighborhood canal. We own and manage 7 high-end beautiful properties in Apollo Beach with a professional cleaning company and as you can read for yourself, we have 5-star reviews with very happy and satisfied guests. We also do provide all essentials such as cooking utensils, soap, and garbage bags. We promise to continue providing high-quality hosting and communication and address all of our guests' needs. Older response: We are sorry to hear that Jackie feels she didn't have a great experience; the fact is that most of our reviews are 5 stars and most of our guests are genuine and fair and not trying to extort money in exchange for good reviews, Please read all other reviews and you will be the judge! Unlike most other 5 star reviews we got, Jackie's review is venomous, to say the least, but most importantly to NOTE is that the first time she communicated with us regarding any of her concerns was after she has already checked out. She did not communicate with us beforehand or let us know of any complaints; this definitely supports the claim that there is nothing justified in this review. As soon we received her complaint, we sent our maintenance person to qualify the matter and take care of the filters (we replace the AC filters every month). The maintenance guy arrived and replaced the filters shortly after she reported the issue, noting that he could still see through the filter and that there was no odor in the house. We wrote to Jackie shortly after that we wish she had let us know before she checked out so we would have had a chance to send housekeeping over to address any issue she had. We truly believe that Jackie had to leave early and tried to get a refund based on frivolous complaints. once we did not offer such a refund (as we did not qualify her complaint), she decided to trash us with a bad review; shame on you Jackie. As for the washer and dryer, we do advertise that it is coin-operated at the designated place on the website; That said, it is important to note that we provide complimentary coins enough for two cycles of washer and 2 cycles of dryers per stay. As for the pool, it was heated for the entire duration of her stay and we have photos of the temperature registration of the pool on our App showing it was above the desired temperature. We wish Jackie all the best and hope she changes her ways as we totally believe in karma.
