Tranquil hillside estate with panoramic views of El Yunque. Both houses are now solar powered, never be without electricity. Main house features 5bedrms/3 baths vaulted family rm, large kitchen, adjacent living rm great for entertaining. Separate dining rm, main floor bath and bedroom, full size bed. Expansive patio area, 15 person salt water hot tub, outdoor bathroom. Full separate private Casita, features 2 bedrms, bathrm, full kitchen, dining and living rm. Front porch, separate internet and cable. Within 10 mins to beach, Natural Reserve of Humacao and Naquabo Malecon, bars, restaurants and grocery.

Hosts will be on the island January-April 2026 offering tours, airport transfer, concierge services, reach out to host for more details.

The house is located just outside the town of Naguabo, it is in a very quiet area and on a very spacious lot. The home was very clean and welcoming, each room has its own split A/C unit except the smaller room just off the entry way and the living room off the kitchen but it stayed comfortable during our stay. The kitchen was a nice size and had everything we needed! There were several beach chairs and towels which was nice to have available during our visit. The outdoor living space was wonderful with a small covered sitting area with a grill along with a large outdoor dining table that has a sun shade overhead. The pool/ hot tub was our favorite place to hang out and relax with its waterfall feature, jets and lights it was the perfect place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. We felt very safe staying in this home and enjoyed everything the local life had to offer. We will definitely be planning another trip!!

Nice big space with a wonderful view of the forest

The house was perfect for our group of 11 to be comfortable with private sleeping areas and with room to spare. The house was clean and was very nice inside, we loved the back porch area and used the pool/hot tub a lot. The front porch has a great view of the rainforest and it’s nice that you have space away from the neighbors. The host was very helpful and accommodating with changes that we requested, and we had everything that we needed.

Casa Heliconia is paradise

This home is well stocked, in a beautiful, quiet location. The pool was perfect for relaxation for adults and for play for the kids. I would give it 10 stars if Icould and I will be back! We were a group of 15 and it was perfect!

Very beautiful house!

My family loved staying here! The proximity to El Yunque and the Ceiba ferry was perfect for the activities we wanted to do. While we stayed there, the power and wifi went out from an outage and Patty was very responsive.

Family and Friends spring break

My family of 4 and friends family of 5 had plenty of rooms… and bathrooms… for teens and parents alike. Multiple living and dining areas plus a whole separate Casita gave everyone plenty of comfort space. Easy access for day trips to mountain hikes, waterfalls, and some beautiful beaches like 7 seas. Came home to relax in the huge hot tub. Fantastic!

Best Family Vacation

Our party of 11 had a blast while staying at this vacation home and exploring Naguabo and the nature it has to offer. Patty was a wonderful host and communication with her was so fast and easy and she genuinely cared about our time there. There was plenty of room at the house to accommodate us. Our only regret was that we had to leave. Highly recommend for families looking for a vacation get away.

Amazing home

We were welcome with a very tasty Sangria bottle. We celebrated the amazing home with all the essentials you need for a kitchen. The house is simply amazing, cozy ✨️, clean, is just perfect. Its fully equipped, I felt liked at home. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. The spa was super clean. My favorite time at the spa was at night looking up at the 🌟 🤩 and listening to the Coqui. The PERFECT location.

A group of 11 of close friends stayed here for a week. In my opinion it was the perfect location for getting around to sight see. When we booked we were looking for a location that included a pool. They are calling this a hot tub, but it's more of a conversation pool which worked perfect for our group. The temperature is adjustable and was perfect for us at 94. The rooms were all furnished well and clean. The beds were comfortable. We felt the location was safe and secure. It was far enough away from the large cities and traffic, yet close enough to go there if you wanted. There are plenty of things to do that are within 30 minutes. Our group said they'd love to return one day.

Fantastic

The house was just as described and looked just like the pictures. We have a family of 8 , and this was a perfect space for us. We were very comfortable. We did buy groceries and did some cooking and had everything we needed from all the pots and pans and utensils. The spa was big enough to fit everyone at the same time which was really cool and it was very nice. We did a lot of beach activities and there were plenty of towels to take each day, which also was very convenient along with the beach chairs, the owner was very quick to reply to any questions that I had. The air-conditioning worked very good and cooled everything off pretty quickly. The scenery from the home was beautiful . This was our family’s first time in Puerto Rico, and we had a really great time and would definitely stay in this home again it was wonderful.

Sweet Sixteen Naguabo, Puerto Rico

First let me say that I absolutely loved Puerto Rico and the town of Naguabo- I was in awe of El Yunque- I would totally stay there again as the town is remote but close to the areas I wanted to travel to. I loved the landscape and the mountainous terrain. I would advise that if you are traveling w/ toddlers/babies ad/or the elderly it is a mountainous region and the hill to the casita on the property is a little steep. There is no a/c in the casita or the main house but we definitely did not need it because it is very cool overnight (we went in mid -April) not sure how cool it is n the summer months. The home and casita were great! If you are into really taking in the culture of Puerto Rico- this is the spot to stay- lots of cows and horses grazing- homes of all colors sizes and shapes and the people were awesome!

Peaceful w/ Gorgeous View

Patty was amazing with communicating from the start. Our initial airbnb was cancelled 24 hrs prior to our trip, and thanks to Patty and her suggestions of local places to visit, she helped save our family vacation. The house and guest house are gorgeous. It is near the rain forest, so random rain showers would hit, but we loved the serenity of it all. There are a lot of frogs, lizards, and insects, but nothing bothersome for us. One lizard made its way into the house and kept us company during dinner until we were able to get him safely outside. The house and kitchen have all necessities/accomodations, so all we really had to do was shop for groceries. There isnt central air conditioning (not that it was really necessary) but there is such a lovely breeze at this location that simply opening windows is all that is needed. Overall, my family and I had a great time. If youre looking for a quiet and serene location, but not too far from the local life/beach...then this is the place. The grocery store, walgreens, pizza/dining are a 5 minute drive into town, and a short scenic 10 min drive takes you to the local beach that has roadside restaurants within walking distance.

Dirty and broken down

I was under the assumption that the facility was clean. It had a thick dusting layer on all the light shades and end tables. Crumbs under the sofas and cabinets had grease stains. The baseboards were sticky, and there was a swarm of ants around that area—dirty dishes in the cupboards. Shower curtains had stained as if they had never been changed. Bed sheets smelt like mildew, and sheets also had stains—no extra comforters or sheets. We were unable to use the tiny house due to a faucet being broken. Also, we would not have used the little house due to it being scorching in there; the ac was not cooling the home down at all. We ended up all in the primary place. Also, the lights in the main room flickered, as well as in the room next to it. In the first room to the left, the bed was broken; it would slant when you climbed in the bed it sank in sideways. Overall not a great vacation since I had to clean due to my son's allergies. I would not recommend it to anyone with allergies or children with seasonal allergies. Also, the property manager became very defensive when I bought the following issues and concerns I had concerning the cleanliness and of the broken furniture. Hopefully next year's I will be able to better enjoy my vacation! At a different r&b location.

Very Good Stay

The owners were easy to communicate with and they were there to show us around the property which was a plus. The property is spacious and has everything you need to enjoy a pleasant stay. The jacuzzi was wonderful and fits an ample amount of people and they do maintenance, for I was there when it was done. Overall this is a wonderful property in an excellent location safety should not be an issue. All the major attractions are all within less than an hour to two hour drive. The chinese restaurant in town is very good and the pizza is not bad. Had a really good stay. Thank you Patty.

We are from Minnesota and took a family trip to Puerto Rico in 2014. With that trip we knew we wanted to owe a home here. We purchased a condo in Luquillo in 2016. We love the NE/SE side of the island.

We own another property on the NE side of the island and love what this areas has to offer. The home sits on the hill overlooking El Yunque. Very peaceful and quiet with farm fields, cows, fruit and flowers everywhere and an old sugar cane plant. We have papayas, avocado, bread fruit, bananas, plantains on our land, that if ripe you can pick and eat. The house has a very open, relaxed feel to it. Each room is unique in design. The upper two bedrooms with the vaulted ceilings bring in such beautiful views and light. The large master is a perfect nights sleep, with private master bath. The side patio is perfect for a great BBQ, quiet cups of coffee or a nightcap outdoor bathroom is very convenient. The spa is a perfect way to unwind after a full day in the sun. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is new. Great sitting area across from kitchen, you can socialize will preparing food. The house has solar and a backup generator and water cistern if needed. The Casita is perfect for anyone in the group who wants a little more privacy. You can hear the Coqui frogs, birds singing and hens clucking. The Casita has everything you need, full kitchen, hot water and relaxing front porch. Just 10 mins from the ocean where great Caribbean beaches, food, drinks and nightlife. Only 10 mins from 2 large grocery stores, Walgreens, fast food, coffee shops and shopping. Walmart and other mainland stores are within 20 mins. Located with 30 mins to the Culebra and Vieques ferry. Take a short 30-40 min ferry ride for a small fee to some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. 30 mins from the Farjardo Bio Bay, kayaking night tours are incredible. El Hippie part of El Yunque just a 10 min drive away. We are so blessed to be able to share our home with you. We hope you leave with the same feeling we have of Casa Heliconias and Casita Heliconias.
