Amazing!

Deena and Charlie were awesome and super helpful with what we needed during our stay. They made a book for recommendations in the area. Easy for taxi pick up and drop off being next to Limetree. The area was beautiful and we felt safe and comfortable for the whole time we stayed.

Deanna was such a pleasure as a host! Their place is so cozy and comfortable. The location is a few short steps from the beach, which is wonderful. There are two restaurants at the beach, as well as a market and pool bar. We would happily stay again next time we visit!

Very nice time at the property. The driveway leading up to the unit may be too steep for some, but we were able to do it. Nearby resort was very nice and welcoming to us despite not staying there. Perfect little getaway

Simply Charming

Perfect Little Studio

Deena sent us a link with specific coordinates to find the place with Google Maps. It is very hilly so glad for the 4-wheel drive. Key was in lockbox as told. The studio had everything we needed for our 3-day stay. The unit was clean and quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend.

Memorable BIG 20 Year Anniversary

We enjoyed our stay at the Darling Palms Tree House. It was lovely and everything we needed for our 5 night stay in St. Thomas. We travel light and Deena and Charlie were kind and offered suggestions which helped us get around the island without a rental. We made it to 7 gorgeous beaches and even got to ride the ferry to St. John which was absolutely brilliant. Truly a memorable wedding anniversary.

The area is challenging to find at night, but the area safe. WiFi and phone reception are spotty. It accommodates only 2 people. The kitchen is fully stocked with a stove, fridge, microwave, dishes, silverware, paper towel, and even a few seasonings and dish detergent. There is a large shared deck with patio furniture for lounging. Bring mosquito repellent because it’s surrounded by trees. It’s about 20 minutes from downtown, the nearest grocery, and shopping mall, so I recommend a car. It’s walking distance to the Limetree Resort and beach, but the beach is rocky. Magens Bay or Lindquist is better.

Perfect little getaway near resort

Husband stayed here to meet us on cruise port day. Deena was so helpful and accommodating. She helped him plan his time and helped with transport. It was last minute and everything was booking up while I waited for acceptance from one to the other. I discovered the instant booking and so glad I did. Thank you is not enough. Will book again if we ever make it back.

Super awsome stay

This was exactly what we were looking for and met all of our needs during our stay. The unit is walking distance to Lime Tree Beach which is a nice quiet little beach as well as a restaurant right on the water. Lots of other beaches and restaurants are only a short drive away. The location is quiet and peaceful and the unit was spotless and even had some beach gear in the closet for us to use. The hosts happened to have family members staying in the neighboring unit while we were there, and they were lovely as well, we really enjoyed being their neighbors for the weekend. The hosts were available and responsive for anything we needed, and the perfect amount of friendly and accommodating but also happy to give you your space (I mean I consider myself friendly but a little more introverted than my boyfriend! lol) We enjoyed our time very much and would recommend without hesitation.

Amazing place for an amazing vacation

From the minute we booked to the day after we got home our experience was easy and amazing. Deena reached out right after we booked and offered us any help we needed from things to do to places to eat. She gave us amazing directions to get to the room put out cones so we knew exactly where to park. They had snacks and water waiting for our arrival, they had chairs, towels, snorkel gear, cooler, pool noodles all which we used as we tried to go to all the beashes on the island, which was great cause we had chairs to sit in at the beach cold drinks in the cooler and towels to lay on. Deena was very easily reachable throughout our stay for anything we needed even if it was something as simple as a couple AAA batteries. We will definitely be visiting the island again and we have saved their information cause we will be staying there again, ohh forgot to mention the location is perfect anything you wanted to do was with 20 min from the room no matter where on the island you were going. The location was peaceful and quiet and perfect for a nice vacation getaway.

Solid spot, fantastic hosts

Deena & Charlie were a pleasure to work with. Although the location was a little difficult to identify, Deena provided lengthy explanations and pictures to help find it, as well as active communication. The rental was clean, and stocked with both small conveniences and unexpected luxuries (coolers, snorkel/masks, beach chairs, etc). There were personalized welcome messages and instructions, and Deena & Charlie both gave us plenty of ideas and advice (Charlie additionally bought us a drink at his restaurant down the street). Fan, lights, and A/C are all controlled by remote (though the A/C remote is quite finicky), which made mid-sleep adjustments easy and undisruptive. Location is probably about a 5-10 minute walk from Limetree Beach Resort amenities, which are easily good enough for a lazy "I don't feel like doing anything extravagant" experience (although Lanai actually serves great food as well). Aside from that, the spot is actually pretty well-located to easily reach most of the island. Will definitely recommend to friends seeking St. Thomas vacations.

Fantastic Location!

The Darling Palms was exactly as described and very clean. Deena and Charlie were fantastic to deal with and were both extremely responsive to any inquiries we had. The unit had absolutely everything we needed (plus some) which made it extremely easy to stay there. Simple things made the stay perfect such as enjoying the coffee and condiments they provided so we could sit on the large deck each morning and listen to the birds and natures sounds of St Thomas. What a fantastic location! The base of the driveway was literally directly across from the LimeTree Resort which was only a few minute walk. We spent our days lounging on the beach, soaking in the sun with cold drinks and the ultra blue ocean as our backdrop! While we ate a dinner at the Darling Palms, the Lanai Restaurant and bar at LimeTree was a short 5 minute walk for us and it is open to the public. There is also a store onsite at the LimeTree that had made to order meals and salads for you if needed. Again, exactly as the property description stated by the hosts. If we find ourselves back in St Thomas, we definitely would not hesitate to book there again! Thanks again Deena and Charlie!

Amazing Location

Private yet close to amenities

We arrived in pouring rain and our host proactively offered to meet us at the gate to minimize our exposure to the weather. There were snacks to ease our late arrival hunger. Watching tv was a bit tricky but luckily my techie husband figured it out without calling for help. We had everything we needed. Appreciated the notes left on the chalkboard for taxi recommendations and remote control info. A very thoughtful host!!

Perfection in paradise

What a gem. This was exactly what my daughter (who lives on island) and I (visiting) needed. Beautiful grounds, comfortable bed and CLEAN! Lovely welcome note and basket of snacks on the table. Charlie was so helpful carrying our bags in and getting us settled. We will definitely book this again!

Grreat stay, perfect hosts.

Great location adjacent to Limetree Resort. The guest house is immaculate and well-stocked with snacks and home-baked brownies provided by Deena and Charlie. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked well and kitchen had what we needed to prepare and serve a comfortable breakfast or brunch. Communications were clear and timely, couldn't ask for a better experience.

We love how close we are to the beach and the resort. Life is easy when you don't have to turn on the car to take a dip in the ocean. We're in love with our palm tree forest.
