Our Historic 5 bedroom 2 1/2 bath Farmhouse Cottage is a perfect country farm getaway with 10.5 acres, barns, trees, a pond, trails, flower beds, chickens, ducks, and rustic accents. It's very relaxing to sit on the porch or by the pond and enjoy all the outdoor beauty. This is a century old farm with lots of family history. It is only about 15 minutes from the city of Toledo. You will truly feel the farm experience by staying here. The farmhouse cottage comfortably sleeps up to 10 people and has a full kitchen.

I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful family farm if you are looking for a fun and relaxing vacation spot. I see why this is a popular wedding venue, however it is a great family vacation spot as well. We collected farm fresh eggs for breakfast, played hide and seek in the woods and spent a rainy day playing board games in the workshop heated by a potbelly stove fire. Our host was gracious, attentive and kind, as well as gave us a tour and the history behind the farm. Also communication was great and the accommodations were very clean and family friendly. Thank you again for the wonderful time!

Pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed the relaxing evening at the fire pit next to the pond, and our youngest enjoyed the chickens. The house was clean and comfortable, and it's historic nature had a warm feeling.

I don’t know where to start. Our stay was incredible. The farm and house were both everything we needed and wanted. Our event in the smaller barn was fabulous. The host is amazing and she has everything you need right there. Highly recommend and we hope to return for another stay!

A nice retreat that houses the entire extended family

We had a great time touring the property and fishing while enjoying the historic home with enough room for all of our family. The beds were a little firm for us, but other than that we enjoyed everything. Everything was very, very clean and everything we needed was in the home.

The best large family gathering place in Northwest Ohio

we have a clan of 30 to 40 at any given time when we get together and this is just such an ideal location as well as environment for us all to meet eat together play games together. Our host at the Keolsh farm are always so accommodating.!

Incredible spot for a group and events

The property was wonderful and exactly what our group needed in terms of both indoor and outdoor spaces. The host was very sweet and gave us a tour of the property and a little of her family's history there. The grounds were wonderful with various bird calls overhead, beautiful opportunities to stroll and an assortment of buildings with lots of space. Would definitely recommend to others and would go back again!

Great Gathering Spot for Family

Our daughter's wedding was nearby and this farmhouse was a wonderful spot for our entire family to enjoy time together all weekend. There are plenty of beds, a well-stocked kitchen and many open rooms to spend time relaxing together.The hosts have thought of so many details. Our 2-year old granddaughter enjoyed the toy/game room while the adults had plenty of room for talking, eating or quietly reading books/looking at pictures.

Family reunion

We had a great time. Thank you to the host for meeting with us and telling us about the family and the farm history. It was my second visit, but the first time we stayed on the farm overnight. We didn't need hardly anything we brought as the home was filled with everything we needed. Would recommend to other family and friends.

Beautiful, spacious and relaxing property

We loved Koelsch Farm, it worked perfectly for our whole crew. It had everything we needed and more for 9 adults and 2 babies. The outside is beautifully landscaped with a pond, fire pit and trails; as well as front and side porches to relax on. We enjoyed just visiting, hanging out and reading the history in the "history room", between family wedding events. It is close to stores for last minute needs and the owners were very helpful. If the opportunity arises, we will definitely return to the farm!

Amazing Rental!

Our stay at the Koelsch family farm far exceeded expectations. We were greeted by a very friendly family member who gave us a very nice tour of the property complete with a history lesson. The tour ended at the platter of freshly baked banana chocolate chip bread (which promptly disappeared!). We were able to check-in early, and check-out late which was great and allowed us to have the BEST EASTER EGG HUNT EVER on Easter morning. Calm, peaceful, and relaxing. A great place for family gatherings and holiday celebrations. Calling sibs for Thanksgiving!

Loved our night!

We stayed to run the Glass City Marathon in Toledo. A 1/2 hour drive into the race start. Property was cute, clean and fit 9 women utilizing a couch too. The owners left us homebaked cookies - such a nice touch. The only reason I marked 4/5 stars for communication was that we were not able to text with the owners. Everything else was top notch!

Great Rental

This farmhouse has lots of charm and easy to get to the Toledo area. The barn was a blast for our family to gather in and unwind. The house has everything you would need. Thx for a great time!!

Perfect for our family reunion

We stayed here during a visit to our extended family and were able to work with the owner to host or long overdue family reunion. It was absolutely wonderful, the property was gorgeous, there was a lot of fun with the games and fishing, and we loved checking in on the chickens every morning.
