Newly built and tastefully furnished 2-bedroom basement suite with a separate entrance and keypad for check-in. Comfortable queen-sized beds, large rooms, kitchenette with appliances including coffee maker and toaster; you have hot plate, pots and utensils to cook anything you want, fridge/freezer to save your perishables. Few minutes drive to malls for grocery shopping and all you may need. Free driveway or street parking, high speed WIFI for working or schooling online, and access to laundry.

Quiet hours from 10:00pm-6:00am No shoes in the entire house starting from the stairs. Smoking inside the suite attracts a fine of $500.
Laundry is permitted after three nights of stay and must be done between 8:00am and 8:00pm once a week. No eating or sleeping on the sofa.
Discuss any late check out with us ahead of time. If approved, late check out fee will be $20 per hour and another nightly fee if stay beyond 3 hours.

Extremely clean and professionally structured. I think some condiments, a larger coffee pot that serves more than one person and a fan to circulate the air in the basement suite would have been nice. The neighborhood is very nice/safe and accessible to everything in Winnipeg. We are happy with the stay.

Nice stay. Clean and nice to have two separate rooms. People using vacuum at 830 at night and then before 830 am next morning was only issue.

Great place to stay!

Very comfortable beds, nice kitchen & bathroom. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Newer suite so very clean and bright. Easy check in and access to the suite. Owner was quick to provide us with a few things we asked for. Will likely stay again.

Winnipeg Stay

Beautiful property with spacious bedrooms. It’s located close to the Canadian Mint and University of Manitoba. The property houses 4people but the dining table only has 2 seats ~ maybe host should consider foldable seating for extra seats at breakfast table. Communication with host was smooth and timely. We enjoyed our 3 night stay as we celebrated our newest graduate in the family.

The place was very clean and had a fresh updated look. It would have been nice to have a few towels and flat sheets on the bed when we arrived, instead of having to request them. The host was very obliging and friendly when we requested these items.

Thank you for staying at our suite and for your feedback. However, just a correction: we did have 4 bath towels, face towels and sheets on the bed before you arrived. You only requested for more because you wanted extra towels and sheets which we were happy to provide. We were also happy to provide you extra chairs beyond what we have on our listing, as you requested, because we take pride in making our guests have memorable stay at our suite. We look forward to hosting you again!

Nice stay at this property

My son and I had to travel to Winnipeg for doctor appointments and were there for 4 nights. The 2 bedrooms had very comfortable beds, and there were plenty of dishes in the kitchenette. Very clean property. Check in was easy. There are no condiments or coffee provided so just remember to bring your own. We could hear the family upstairs occasionally but it wasn’t disturbing at all, just a reminder that you are sharing the house. I would recommend this property. It wasn’t far from St Vital Centre if you are looking for a movie or some shopping.

Okay not great

When we arrived the place was nice and clean but when we went in there was water all over the floor as the dehumidifier wasnt working.We were also unable to get the tv to work. We reached the host by knocking on their door as we had no way of contacting them as noone had acknowledged our arrival. She came down and replaced the remote for the tvand emptied and unplugged the humidifier and said her husband would be down to look at it. We never saw or heard from our hosts again We asked for more towels but never recieved them4 towels and 2 faceclothes for two people is not sufficient. The place was extremely damp because of no dehumidifier and our towels were never dry. Although we enjoyed our stay I would not return or recommend it. Hesitated between a 3 and 4 rating but went with 4 because it was clean and an excellent location

Hi Patricia, thank you for your feedback. We are sincerely sorry that the humidifer malfunctioned between when we setup the place for you and when you arrived. This was not planned, and sometimes, despite our best intentions, things happen. I apologise again for that and that we couldn't get it fixed before your checkout time. Rest assured, it is running fine now. Ours is a self check-in arrangement, and no one checks you in. We provide all the contact channels for you to reach us if you need anything. As for contact channels to reach us, you can always reach us on the messaging part of this platform with just a click. Alternatively, you can reach us via phone call on our contact phone number provided on the platform. We also have the phone number placed at the entrance door to the suit for your concenience, but you confirmed to me that you are not so great with tech and were not sure who you were messaging thinking it was me. However, I did write the number down on a paper for you when I came down, so you could reach out if you need anything. When I came down to help you with the TV/remote, I actually spent some time trying to help you find your favourite show on TV which took a while as I am not familiar with those shows, having spent that lenghty amount of time on it, I totally missed to hand you the towels you requested and left. Sorry about that, I wish you had let me know. We will be delighted to have you visit again and we promise you would have an amazing experience.

My stay was very comfortable and clean. All the amenities I needed were there. I recommend bringing a sweater and slippers as the basement was a little cold.

We had a comfortable stay!

We stayed here for a month, the basement is very clean and stylish and equipped with everything we needed. Perfectly sized for three to four people. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, located near the park, stores and close to bus stops. The host is really nice, very accommodating and helpful to us, they gave us clear instructions during check in and very quick to respond with any questions. They made sure we have everything we needed. We would highly recommend this place! :)
