Located on the corner of Frenchmen & Decatur, in the heart of a bustling entertainment district. Just one block from the French Quarter & two blocks from the Mississippi River, this modern 1bd/1ba apartment is a perfect location to enjoy a fun getaway. Just drop your bags and walk out the door to enjoy the best local artists, chefs, bars & musicians that play late into the night. Also enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river, explore the historic French Market or hop on a streetcar to Canal Street & visit Harrah's Casino, Canal Place & Riverwalk Malls, Aquarium, & numerous dining options.

The Marigny is known for its live event venues, parading in the streets, performers, restaurants, bars, & live music. Located on Frenchmen street, this newly updated apartment is situated in the heart of it all.

The Space:
3rd floor apartment with a balcony overlooking Frenchman Street. Other features include a kitchen, queen bed & walk-in shower. Recently updated with a memory foam mattress, Smart TV with Netflix, all new bedding & towels.

• Kitchen with sink, refrigerator, stove & microwave. Coffee pot, flatware & dishes provided.
* There is a fenced parking lot around the corner. Rates are about $20/day.

The building is three stories & composed of 5 rental units: 2 Studios, 2 one-bedrooms & a three-bedroom unit. A tattoo shop is on the first floor.

The Neighborhood:
The offbeat Marigny district is known for its Cajun bistros, bohemian bars and jazz clubs, especially along Frenchmen Street. Sidewalk musicians and brass bands add a block party vibe to the nighttime Frenchmen Art Market, which sells local artwork and handicrafts. Quieter spots include Washington Square where the lawns are shaded by old oak trees. The Marigny Opera House offers an eclectic program.

Getting Around:
This spot is highly walkable but if transportation is needed- Uber/Lyft/Cab, Streetcar, Pedi-cabs & bike rentals are nearby.

Easy walk to everything

This was our second stay here. We love the location for the proximity to the music clubs. The host communicates in a timely manner and the place is very clean and comfortable.

My husband and I came down for a quick three day visit to stay on Frenchman Street. It has become our favorite location because of all the wonderful live music!The apartment was really sweet and comfortable. Craig, the property manager was excellent to communicate with and check in and check out we're very easy.Easy walk down to the quarter if you want to take in that scene as well.

Clean and bright

We loved being right in the middle of so many great music venues. The apartment is lovely and the host was excellent about communication. They even got us in a little early! Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Great spot, very communicative owner, and it’s just a neat, clean old apartment. We loved it. The noise from the streets (partying) is loud, but surprisingly we slept easily. Interesting sights from the big windows/balcony.

Heart of Frenchmen Street

Beautiful property in the heart of Frenchmen Street -- the center of New Orleans music scene. I go to NOLA once a year, and this is the best place I've ever stayed. Incredible living room, 15-ft windows opening up onto a balcony overlooking the street, incredibly comfortable bed & great living room.There's nothing better than opening the windows and listening to live jazz coming from the street during the day. Not a problem for me, but if you're a light sleeper, it can be loud at night. (But property provides white noise machine).Safe, secure, easy check in process. Can't wait to come back next year!

Beautiful apartment in central location for music lovers!

We came in for Jazz Fest and stayed at Craig's beautiful lofted apartment on Frenchman's... if you are a music lover, this is the place for you! You will hear music until the wee hours of the night - literally until 2/3am just sitting in the living room- so make sure you're in that vibe. Craig was super responsive to our requests, which was amazing, plus we were able to check in a bit early. Great restaurants within walking distance too and the Marigny/Bywater has some of the hottest new places to eat and drink in New Orleans. Plus we enjoyed being able to sit outside on the balcony and the airiness the place.

Enjoyed music on our balcony

This place is great! Definitely a wow factor when you walk in. Tall ceilings, perfectly decorated and a wrap around deck on the corner of Frenchman and Decatur. You can hear music from the Maison, Bamboula's, Blue Nile, and all the random street musicians until the wee morning hours, so be prepared for late nights, and no peace and quiet. But that is the best part. You are in it! The place is amazing. Such nice decor and a beautiful mix of old and new. We enjoyed hours of having the windows open and being on the balcony, listening to the sounds of activity. The property manager is super fast to respond, so helpful, and kind. We had a wonderful time. Next time we might rent the 2 bedroom with some friends and an even larger balcony. 5 stars.

Amazing place on Frenchman!

We absolutely loved this great home on Frenchman. So close to everything; walking distance from Bourbon street but you dot. Have to. Entire that far because Frenchman is always hopping. The balcony overlooking the street is awesome mad we loved the bar (The Rambler) downstairs, too - Blake is a great bartender. Highly recommend!

An Amazing Stay in New Orleans

First of all, this place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! From the expose brick walls to the wood ceilings, I was highly impressed. It was equipped with essential amenities such as a clean refrigerator and stove(both Modern), an iron, soft toilet paper lol, android and iPhone chargers, balcony that faces the bars, etc…. We lounged on the balcony the last night listening to a band that was playing across the street at one of the nightclubs. This place is definitely a honeycomb hide out… I highly recommend this Apt! This place will be my New Orleans “go to” if it’s available when I visit. Thanks!

Beautiful apartment, incredible location

This apartment is all it promises to be with these photographs. It's got incredible light and a balcony on two sides and it's easy to sit back and enjoy the music floating up from Frenchmen Street. Be sure to visit Jenny, the tintype artist and check out the bookstore. Say hi to Destiny in the bar downstairs. Easy walk to Jackson Square. OUTSTANDING response time and helpful hints from Craig. Can't wait to return!

I loved the property and the location. It is on a busy street corner so if city noises bother you be aware. They did have a dohm noise maker that helps with outside noise...however, I didn't use it because I love the sounds of the city. It was very well decorated and clean. Would ABSOLUTELY stay again!

Beautiful apartment in the cats seat overlooking Frenchmen Street

We had a great stay here. Everything was comfortable and inviting! If you are opposed to noise this is not the place for you as so many bands play all night. We loved it. The beds and sofas were comfortable. We bought groceries nearby at Robert’s. Everything is within walking distance to where we needed to go. Would stay here again.
