HERE IS A SUMMARY OF THE FEATURES OF THE DESCRIBED COTTAGE:

OPEN CONCEPT LIVING ROOM/KITCHEN COMBINATION:   The cottage features an open concept design with a living room and kitchen combination. The living room includes a queen pull-out couch, providing additional sleeping space.

TWO BEDROOMS:   The cottage has two bedrooms. The main bedroom offers a queen bed, and the second bedroom has 1 twin bed and a set of twin bunk beds. Additionally, a twin pull-out in the living room allows for various sleeping arrangements.

SHARED BATHROOM:   The shared bathroom features a step-in shower, providing convenience for guests.

COMBINATION OPTION:   A unique feature of this unit is its ability to be combined with Unit 3A. This combination provides three beds and two baths, offering flexibility for larger groups or families. The ability to close off the units allows for privacy when needed.

CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING:   The cottage is equipped with central air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable indoor environment.

CHARCOAL GRILL:   Guests can access a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking and entertainment.

THIS COTTAGE SEEMS TO OFFER A FLEXIBLE AND COMFORTABLE SPACE WITH THE ADDED FEATURE OF COMBINING UNITS FOR LARGER ACCOMMODATIONS OR MAINTAINING PRIVACY AS NEEDED.

Heaven on earth. The property is right on the beach, has a big grassy field with volleyball set up, great playground, outdoor pingpong table, heated pool, pickleball and basketball courts. The house was just what we needed, comfortable and clean. I can't say enough about this location. Also very responsive.

Beach access was great! Clean beach/property. Minutes from town, shops, restaurants, public beaches. Tons of amenities.

Sleepy hallow has it all

Great weekend here! We loved being able to see the lake & beach steps away from our unit. It was nice to do lap swimming in the morning even on cooler days with the heated pool, minutes away from the other beaches & downtown too. Will be back :)

❤️ Sleepy Hollow

Our Sleepy Hollow stay was great. Unit was neat and clean. Resort was very quiet. We were steps from the pool and play ground. And beach was within walking distance. 4 adults and 1 small child. We will definitely be back!

I only booked this place because i was told we can get married on the beach there and have a cook out after. Was told 3 hours before my wedding that we can no longer do that but far the worst experience ever. Not to mention the bedroom lock was broken and other guest letting there kid go naked on the beach so i could not take my kids down to enjoy the beach. The only nice thing about the place is the pool.

I am sincerely sorry that you had a negative experience at our property. However, we have not allowed rental guest weddings since 2015. If you had contacted us prior to your arrival asking permission, we would have advised you of this fact and could have offered you a most desirable alternative. There is a beautiful wedding venue literally next door to our resort, which we could have recommended to you. I confirmed from the only two staff members you could have spoken to that no such call was made in advance. The first time we were made aware of your intention was when you called to complain about the naked toddler, who was barely two years old and was enjoying the beach with his parents during the late afternoon when few people were around. I double-checked our maintenance log, and you have noted nothing regarding a problem with a bedroom door lock. How can we fix something if we are unaware of an issue? Thanks for ending your review on a positive note! We are proud of our pool, and glad you enjoyed that dynamic feature of our wonderful resort.

The location and grounds are absolutely gorgeous! The private beach and serene, family setting were amazing. Every path edged and flower bed perfect with lots of different varieties of plants. There’s endless activities too. The pool was lovely and even had a lifeguard on duty. The view of Lake Michigan was breathtaking and the steps to the beach were new and nice. The accommodations could just use that same level of attention. We had several light bulbs out in our rental. It was very musty. Overall it seemed like it had been cleaned, but maybe shut up for awhile. In the master bed, we both just rolled to the middle. The coffee pot was so old it took forever to brew and some wiggling. The refrigerator worked fine, but looked like it had sat outside for a couple years. Our back deck had lovely outdoor seating, but it was covered and really dirty pillows underneath. Would have loved something more basic and clean to eat outside, etc.This unit has no dishwasher or laundry. But kitchen soap and towels were provided. There was a nice assortment of games and plenty of clean towels. The door locks are old and a bit tricky, but we felt successful once we caught on. The pickleball court made our day and we enjoyed one of the hammocks too. We have T-Mobile and service was terrible, so we were grateful for the WiFi. A few tweaks and this place could be really really perfect. We had a great time, beautiful weather and relaxing stay.

The grounds are beautifully maintained, the staff is wonderful and the arts and crafts time greatly enjoyed by my grandchildren.

We come every year because it’s a family tradition but if it wasn’t we’d choose to go elsewhere - we could take an overseas trip for the same price.

The location was perfect! The Unit 3C was small but clean. A few things that would make this unit more acceptable are: a washer/dryer (in the basement, perhaps), a dishwasher, a land-line telephone (cell reception at the resort was virtually non-existent), a TV in the bedroom, a rocking chair, a paper towel holder, teaspoons, a full-length mirror, and the screen door needs to be repaired.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Resort is wonderful, we have been going for 48 years. We love the location and facilities. Had some trouble working with new front desk staff and cleaning staff to get into our room, they were very late and were even worse at providing any kind of update. We were told several times it should be ready within 15-30 minutes which extended to about 5 hours so we could not go anywhere or do anything until we got our stuff moved in. Hopefully that part will get better.3C is a bit cramped, great for housing several kids but not enough space to gather or do anything.
