6 Person Cabin near Mount Rushmore

Welcome to Silver Mountain Resort and Cabins. Coon Hollow Cabin is one of seven cabins on our country property.

Coon Hollow has 2 bedrooms with 1 queen bed each and 1 bathroom with stand up shower only. The living room includes a futon sleeper. The fully equipped kitchen includes apartment-sized appliances, dishes/silverware and cookware. The cabin is air-conditioned and includes towels and linens. Enjoy cooking dinners in the outdoors with a gas grill and patio furniture on the front porch.

The Black Hills is an amazing place to relax, enjoy tourist activities, hike, bike, and enjoy a truly beautiful place. Come stay with us and find out all of the great things that this area has to offer.

This was the best place to stay. Quiet and central to all the fun in the black hills. Very nice cabin, clean quiet and friendly staff, made this a great way to finish our out west tour this spring.

Our family of 6 stayed at this resort. It was spectacular. Very clean, there is a pool on the property that my kids and I loved! It was the best stay! We will be back!

We had a great experience staying at Silver Mountain Resort. The cabin was clean and just as described. Kari Ann was so nice and helpful and responded very quickly to all of my questions.

Nice quiet location. Very small but comfortable cabin. Worked great for us and our 2 seven year old granddaughters. Not sure I would want 6 in the cabin but you could do it. Clean and well maintained.

Perfect Spot

I can't say enough of how great Silver Mountain Cabins & Resort was. The location was perfect for us. Short drive to Mt Rushmore, Keystone, Bear Country, all the things we wanted to see. So amazing to come back each night for a quick swim and dinner on our patio. It was so quiet and peaceful and just and ideal Black Hill experience. Our cabin was clean and perfect for my 2 kids (7 and 9) my mother and my husband. We enjoyed our stay and will absolutely be back! The owner is very responsive and easy to get a hold of if needed. The whole experience was above and beyond! Thanks Silver Mountain!

Cozy n quiet

We were 15 minutes from Mt. Rushmore and 30 minutes from Crazy Horse and Cluster National Park. We saw The Badlands, Devils Tower, chimney Rock and even Alzada MT. We saved extra money by making picnic lunches and making breakfast before we left for the day. The rooms were clean, quiet, and relaxing. We sat by the campfire at night and even enjoyed country air with the windows open while sleeping. This was a well worth it stay and plan to return again in the future.

Cabin in the heart of the Black Hills

This was a great cabin to stay at when visiting the Black Hills. Everything was close including Mount Rushmore, Bear Country and amazing trails! The cabin had everything we needed including cookware, a grill, and a nice little fire pit. The owners were very attentive to our needs and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend this for those of you traveling with kids. I know our kids enjoyed the play house, the pool and the DVDs we borrowed from the office.
