The Sassy Seagull is a bright, beachy, and fun cottage ready to make your Tybee Island vacation one to remember. This adorable cottage is a perfect blend of stylish cottage decor, a dash of whimsy mixed with a touch of sass. Fall in love instantly when you walk into this charming mid-island home. Enjoy hours of fun in and around the optionally heated pool.

The cottage is bright and welcoming, with beautiful decor throughout. The living area welcomes you with bright pops of color and upscale beachy decor. The living room has a large Smart TV and comfortable seating. The adjoining dining room has a large table with seating for 8. Just beyond the living area is the well equipped kitchen that combines original details with modern amenities.

The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a King-size bed and has a flat-screen TV and an attached bathroom. The fun and functional bathroom features a claw-foot tub with a shower. Bedroom 2 also has a King-size bed and a flat-screen TV. The bunk room, bedroom 3, has 2 sets of twin bunk beds - perfect for guests traveling with children. The shared bathroom has a tub and shower combination.

Step outside the back door to find a manicured backyard and patio area with comfortable seating and a gas grill for cooking out. Enjoy the beautiful Tybee Island weather, grilling out with family and friends while enjoying the jetted pool. There is a convenient enclosed outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach or a swim in the pool. There are a full-size washer and dryer and an extra fridge for guests use.

This home is located in a quiet mid-island neighborhood on 2nd Avenue, Tybee Island's dedicated bike path. Bring your bikes, or rent them while you are here to enjoy sightseeing by bicycle - it truly is the best way to experience Tybee Island. The nearest beach access is on 8th Street or 9th street, only 3 blocks, or a short 5-minute walk.

Heated Pool Option: Guests may choose the option of adding pool heat to their reservation for an additional cost. Pool heat is not available in January and February.

The house was better than described! Fully fenced in yard for your pet. Pool was clean and perfect couple/ small family size. Kitchen was awesome; it has everything you need. The house is very welcoming and cozy. We will be back!

Exactly as described! Close to beach, plenty of space for 5 adults to hang out together or spread out if needed. Beach chairs, beach toys, etc included in outdoor storage. Pool is small but perfect for cooling off and lounging in!

Such an adorable place!

Decorated cute! Had everything we needed! Comfortable beds! Backyard pool was awesome to have! All the girls of our family (sisters, aunts & cousins)had such an awesome time at The Sassy Seagull!!

The best thing to say is that this was accommodating for pets. The rentals was not clean at all. There were cobwebs and dust everywhere along with the beds not having blankets. Not to mention there was melted crayon in the dryer that ruined a load of clothes. We were very disappointed with the condition of the property.

Great spot.

Short walk to the beach and other bars/restaurants while being on a quieter part of the island. Really lovely spot. Clean and as pictured. Only feedback is that this only comfortably sleep 6 adults. The bunk bed room is tiny and the top bunk is brutal for adults.

This cute Tybee cottage is in a great spot; easy walk to the beach. The bunk room is best for groups traveling with kids. Hope to welcome you back again soon!

not good

we have to wait almost until 7 pm to be able to check in, and it looks that they did not have good comunication between them because at exactly 4 they were still cleaning and the the lock was out of battery and it took them forever to get there and replace or fix it and that is how we finally got into the cottage, no gas on grill, the cottage was not really ready for guests, and also the on call team took to long to go fix this issue. I do not recomend them.

We regret you were unable to access your vacation home until after the promised check-in time. It appears the batteries in your keyless lock failed, and it took our maintenance team longer than normal to get to you due to the heavy volume of summer travelers. We Loved The Sassy Seagull

Cute place, 3 blocks from the beach. It was perfect for our stay. We did not cook or prepare any meals while we were there but it appeared to be well equipped with cookware, utensils, etc. we loved the proximity on Tybee which allowed us to walk to many of the places for dining. My wife is from Savannah and spent many summers at Tybee so this place felt like home for her. I’d definitely recommend it. They don’t market the second bedroom and bath as in-suite but it is easily configured as such thanks to the layout. Well designed.

Tybee spring break

Great location right in the low traffic bike route. Right in between south and north beaches makes it an easy walk/bike to either. Great house! Clean and convenient!

Very cute beachy cottage

The cottage was absolutely adorable, very bright and beachy feel!! My only complaints would be if are taking a pet, make sure you understand the guidelines because I felt there was not a lot of info regarding pets online until we got to the house. Also, very important, the backyard is not closed in. Both sides of the house are not fenced in so your dog can get out. The back door is in one of the bedrooms which we did not like because we had to walk through someone's privacy to walk out the back door. Last thing, you are only allowed 3 vehicles and we took our trailer to haul our golf cart and were told the truck, trailer and golf cart were considered our 3 vehicles once we already had 2 other vehicles there. There was plenty of room to fit an SUV, 2 trucks, pull behind trailer and golf cart. I think they should change their guidelines.
