Could use a little more attention to details. BBQ grill was filthy-needed cleaning and new thermometer and drip pan. Garage was unusable. But overall it was very nice home and large enough for our family.

Lake Daze is an amazing property and was perfect for our group of 16. Huge bedrooms, plenty of common space, fun lower level for the kids and a beautiful 2-story dock for long days of hanging out and having fun in the water. Carl was a great host; when there was an issue with the pontoon boat, he provided an alternate solution that worked for us for our week. Would stay here again; we loved our stay on Lake Gaston.

The house was amazing, everything you can imagine. Our group is easily entertained and there's something for everyone. Carl was great as I was in contact with him in the beginning and responded immediately with my questions. We would definitely stay again.

Our Staycation was Awesome. The house was amazing. The mere fact that the children had an area and we were not all on top of each other was great. This house is good for families and the numbers on the rooms was great so if you want to have a great vacation, please try to rent this home. Also Mr. Coe was checking to see if everything was alright during our stay.

Perfect vacation for a family reunion

We chose Lake Daze for our family of 19 ranging from age 9-79. The house is beautiful and the lake picturesque. We enjoyed renting their pontoon for fishing and evening cruises. The kitchen had everything we needed for daily meals. Everyone enjoyed the movie theatre, shuffle board, ping pong and spending countless hours on the lake.

Absolutely incredible place to stay!

I wish I could leave this house a 17 star review, it was just that amazing! The home is stunning. It’s been well taken care of, and the owners have gone above and beyond to make sure it is well stocked with things you’ll need and activities for everyone. The few times we had questions or couldn’t locate something, the owner was very responsive and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Amazing Friends Reunion at Lake Daze

Incredible house in an absolutely wonderful location. The views were just beautiful. We loved spending time on the lake and taking advantage of the vast amenities this home had to offer. Carl was wonderful in terms of communication and couldn't have been more helpful. We can't wait to return.

Great House for Family Gathering

Our family (~12 adults + 3 kids) had a spectacular time at this house. Everything was very clean and matched what you see in photos. With 8 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, and a large dining room, there was plenty of room for everyone to hang out, but you never felt on top of each other. The dock was also spectacular with the 2 levels and plenty of seating on the top and lower decks. The kitchen was also well stocked with plenty of cookware, utensils, and plates/cups/silverware which made it nice for our family come breakfast or dinner time. All in all this was a great house and we'd definitely recommend it to large families looking to spend some time on the lake. If we ever manage to get the family all together again, we'll definitely consider booking this property again.

Dream Vacation for 40th Birthday With Friends

We had an amazing time at this Lake Gaston getaway! A few of our friends turned 40 in the same week and 10 of us enjoyed the house together for 5 days. The property is really beautiful, spacious, and full of activities inside and out. You will never run out of things to do here! The main floor has 2 full king beds and baths along with the living room, kitchen, half bath, formal dining room, and gym area by the front entrance. The Sonos speaker system is a wonderful touch for convenience. The top floor has 3 additional bedrooms, one king master and 2 kings on the other side that share a bathroom. There are lots of hidden closet spaces upstairs, too, although it's good to note there are no desks in the house for remote working. We had a friend who had to work and ended up in the laundry room because it was the only desk-like area that would work for him, other than the dining table, which was in the middle of all the action. The basement level has 3 additional bedrooms, 2 kings that share a bath and 1 big 3-twin bedroom with its own bath. There's a bar area with additional beverage fridge and sink in the basement along with a theatre room and arcade. The garage has an extra full fridge and freezer, along with ping pong and a basketball toss. This was important as we had a ton of food and cakes to refrigerate. The lake dock is gorgeous, and the kayaks were a breeze to get down and get on the lake with. The firepit was well-stocked with plenty of firewood. And the hot tub was lovely, but unfortunately it was over chlorinated for our stay and it bleached my bathing suit. Definitely the worst thing that happened while we were there, but I will survive! I would test the hot tub before getting in to check for chlorine tabs. We found 2 in the tub and pulled them out which helped. When we first turned the jets on our eyes were burning from chlorine. I think this was a simple mistake. You will have a fantastic time here - the neighborhood is so quiet and it was nice to walk around as well. Thanks for a great stay! Would absolutely love to return.

FANTASTIC lake rental. Just what our family needed to reconnect post pandemic.

The property was very nice and the host, Carl was very communicative. Met our every need and even things we weren’t aware we desired. Beautiful home equipped with every amenity. We were able to fish, relax and take some great family photos. So pleased we decided to visit in the Fall rather than Summer...area was beautiful. Look forward to returning again. Awesome property!

We had a group of 10 stay at this house for a long weekend and we all had so much fun! The house/property was beautiful and had plenty of space for everyone. The host was easy to reach when I had a question and responded quickly. We rented the boat too and that was my favorite part. We will definitely be booking this house again in the future. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house but nothing worked

We had contractors and repairmen at the literally everyday of our stay and they didn’t knock, they just walked in. It became quite a nuisance for us and a real inconvenience. As it relates to functionality, the microwave, all the ice machines didn’t work and the boat canopy has been ripped off and not replaced. Also the boat was left for us with a 1/4 tank of gas, it had no lights on it for a late evening cruise and has significant front end damage that wasn’t repaired and isn’t safe. The basement theater flooded and according to the repairman, it’s not the first time it’s happened and there was evidence of water damage on the base of the wall to support this. It took 60 mins to get the oven to temp and then it couldn’t hold it. The deck chairs by the fire pit are not put together correctly and the lights on the outside stairs don’t work, both are safety issues. One of the grills was so dirty we couldn’t use it. One of the showers creeks so bad that it couldn’t be used while someone was sleeping in a neighboring bed room. A number of the bathroom doors don’t lock and one of bedroom doors to the deck doesn’t lock either. And lastly we were left with 2 towels per bedroom even though some of them had 3-4 beds and people sleeping in them. When this lengthy list of issues was brought to the attention of the owner, we were told “thanks for your email”.

Beautiful house with great amenities right on the lake. Bedrooms were perfect for our three generations and the living space gave us plenty of room to gather all together or in small groups. Highly recommend!

Excellent Home for a Reunion!

This home was beautiful and FUN! The room descriptions are excellent, and they numbered! The numbers are actually on the door to match the listing, I would suggest using them it makes it so easy for room assignments when you arrive. Also, Rent the pontoon boat if you are not brining one! They are so much fun on the lake and theirs is super convenient. We brought boats but we would have loved renting theirs! DO jump off the boathouse it is so much fun and even those afraid of heights did it and then did it again and again. Bring lots of towels! You should know there are 77 stairs to the lake, that is not a big deal unless you have people who have issues with stairs, there is no alternative to getting to the lake so plan accordingly. No need to go anywhere there are so many fun things to do, ping pong, cornhole, a great fire pit, shuffleboard, swimming, paddle boards, kyaking a water trampoline and so much more! There is so much space and lots of areas for people to take a break from a big group week including the hot tub hidden away with an amazing view of the lake. Make sure you are on the dock for sunsets they are amazing ! Great kitchen with everything you need and multiple refrigerators and 2 BBQs makes it easy to host lots of meals!

Wonderful Property

We had a really wonderful week at Lake Daze. The house had everything we could have wanted and was kept in really great shape. The kids enjoyed the theatre room and loved the jump gate for the dock. The owners were very communicative during our stay and really went above and beyond with any issues we encountered. There are A LOT of stairs to get down to the dock area. It was fine for the younger members of our family, but we had 3 people in our group that were over 65 that definitely struggled with it.
