Beautiful Well Furnished House

This house is beautiful. And very well furnished. It had plenty of dishes & bowls & pots which we loved as we cooked most of our meals here. The bedrooms are very spacious. The house was super clean and a couple minutes walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on Eleuthera. I would most definitely stay here again.

Paradise in Northern Eleuthera

The property was very spacious, clean and had a rustic feel. The kitchen was very functional and had all the appliances needed to create a stress free cooking environment. The center island had a table and stools where we had breakfast every morning. Every bedroom had a bathroom. The property had plenty of yard space for kids to run around. The proximity to Gaulding Cay beach was icing on the cake. The beach was beautiful, clean, calm and a great place for kids and adults. Lastly June and Dave were fantastic hosts. They were very hospitable, responsive and attended to any needs quickly. They were very resourceful and gave us information on how to explore the island. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect little Hideaway

Excellent place. Loved the outdoor seating area, perfect place to spend evenings free from bugs. The property owners were fantastic to work with and very accommodating. The location is perfectly placed within driving distance to great fishing and snorkeling locations.

Perfect Paradise

This is our 2nd visit to Eleuthera. This was a great place to stay. While, the property is not directly on the beach it is only a few steps away and Dave provided us with a golf cart which came in handy when we wanted to bring multiple things down to the beach. Otherwise, it is a very short walk. On the beach, Dave has kayaks and paddle boards to use, all in great condition. The property is beautiful with trees producing great fruits. June and Dave were very responsive to any needs or questions we had. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you need. We mostly cooked in the well equipped kitchen with the exception of a few nearby restaurants we went to. Dave was at his home during our stay and was available anytime we needed. It is also wonderful to see all that Dave is doing for the community. Will definitely stay again!

Dave Ireland, originally from New Zealand, first built the "Down Under" on Gaulding Cay Beach in 2015. The house was constructed over the original boathouse, which is now the "No Worries" cottage.

In 2020, Dave started construction on the 2 rental properties, Tui and Kiwi, for his daughters, Lisa and Debbie, who live in Australia and New Zealand respectively. The pandemic delayed much of the work. The homes were completed in the spring of 2021.
