1 bedroom apartment on a 10 acre farm. Fully furnished and equipped with a washer and dryer. Full kitchen, stocked with dishes and cookware. Full bathroom with walk in shower. Full bedroom with queen size bed. Brand new stainless appliances and granite counter tops. Relax on the deck or next to the fire pit. Help yourself to fresh eggs from the free range chickens. 10 minutes to Lewes beach and 15 minutes to Rehoboth beach.

Amazing property with beautiful views of the country side. My new business vacation home to get away from the family and get work done. Very comfortable space for a solo trip or a couples retreat. Kitchen is fully stocked and has brand new modern appliances for those that prefer to cook versus eating out. Highly recommend this space.

Wow!!!! So impressed!!! The apartment could not have been better designed for a 2-person getaway, & a very conscientious host. I would give the overall experience more stars if I could - 5 is insufficient. A terrific VRBO host who shares kind “extras” - which we gave, also. The whole experience - PHENOMENAL!!!!

Chilling with the chickens

Returning to this property after a hectic day dealing with traffic(Delaware intersections are challenging!), crowds at the beach and the craziness of the Rehoboth boardwalk offered some much needed peace and quiet. The surroundings reminded us of our country home in West Virginia. The space itself was well appointed with modern appliances, functional furniture and well lit, demonstrating the thoughtfulness that went into planning the renovation that took place in the loft of what was previously a barn. Check-in was a breeze and we briefly met with the owners, who respected our privacy throughout our stay. All-in-all, this is the perfect location for a quiet country retreat from the otherwise overwhelming throng of visitors to the area.

This is the perfect getaway place for two people on holiday! 20 minutes from the beach! The apartment is very comfortable but cozy. The owners let us be on our own, but offered us fresh eggs from their chickens.We enjoyed our stay, and plan to come back later this summer!

Perfect Getaway

This property was ideal for my husband and I. It was close to the beach, restaurants, trails, etc. The area was very quiet and scenic. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and the perfect size for us. The owners were friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. We plan to stay here again in the future.

An Enchanting Surprise

Our stay was the absolute best experience we have had this far on VRBO. The pictures do not fully capture the beauty and design of this apartment. It was comforable and the decor was lovely with skylights throughout, which was a nice touch. There was a wonderful deck with a fire ring and plenty parking available. The farm was gorgeous and a storybook setting. Adele is such a wonderful host. Can you imagine fresh eggs every morning? Adele and John are great people.

DE Beach living-Transported

Relaxing atmosphere, the farm is well laid out, quiet. Nature all around us, we saw wild turkeys Sunday morning. Perfectly situated to get in and out of Lewes & Rehoboth busy areas. Cape Henlopen was 18 minutes. The DE highways are being developed to move traffic around easily and avoid Coastal 1 if you don't need to be on it.

Lovely Country Apartment

This was our 2nd. time staying there while we participated in a local historical event. We look forward to returning next year. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was very clean.

WONDERFUL Time

This place is AMAZING all the way around. Adjacent to forest so birding is good. Close to beaches. Spacious interior. Impeccably clean. Large kitchen area. Farm setting with chickens of all sizes & colorations. Hostess was happy to share eggs so fresh that no refrigeration was needed for them. In fact, as soon as I'd walked into the place I was already thinking about "next time". You cannot be disappointed here!

Great Stay

Played golf at The Rookery and Kings Creek and spent a day at the beach. This place was close to everything. Great location and perfect for us.
