Balance is due 45 days in advance or may be cause to forfeit deposit. Also, rental agreement must be signed before check in.

Great Stay!

This house was a perfect stay for our family and friends. The house is cozy, well stocked and the bedrooms and beds allow lots of sleeping options. The dock was great for swimming and enjoying the lake. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to this part of the lake.

House and grounds were beautiful and very clean. Directly across from Mountain Lake Marina which was very convenient. Mattresses were uncomfortable, but otherwise no issues other than the steep climb which we expected.

Stayed here with a group of friends and it was awesome! The location was perfect. We were on the water the whole time, but this house had everything we needed. Plenty of refrigerator space too which can be a problem at other lake rentals when you’re trying to keep ice, food and beverages cold. The owner was easy to get in touch with and made this a breeze. Other commenters had mentioned the steep hill and they weren’t kidding! We only took 1 trip up per day and that was enough! Overall, 10/10 recommend and my group would definitely stay here again!

Great view of the lake!

We like to go down to Norris Lake every year with friends and family and we bring our boat. This property had a beautiful view and the property itself was big and just what we needed. However, the driveway was very difficult to fit our trailer and the walk down to the dock was not convenient as it was a straight down hill. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful House

The house was wonderful. Clean, spacious, well maintained. Everything worked perfectly. The deck and the grill were great. The only challenge (and this is true of most Norris Lake Houses) is that the walk down to the dock is VERY steep. We only wanted to walk up it once per day so we spent the vast majority of our time on the lake, which is exactly what we wanted! We loved this house and can't wait to return. Highly recommend!!

Norris Lake

Very pretty, AC was amazing, very clean. No complaints other than the hill down to the dock is rough for someone not used to hills. You will definitely get a leg work out, but the dock is nice. Nice views.

Very Nice set up! Needs new refrigerator

We really enjoyed this property, well maintained with a great view. The path to the boat dock was steep (as mentioned) by worth it. Only complaint, was refrigerator was turn so high when we go there it wouldn't keep anything cool, we turned it down and the produced froze. Ice maker did function correctly as well.

Great stay!

Everything is as described. The house was perfect for the 11 of us (could have slept a few more if needed). The downstairs was perfect for my family of 5, while the upstairs suited a family of 4 in one bedroom and a family of 2 in the other. The deck space was exactly what we were looking for to hang out as a family - in the shade. We utilized the upper deck most, but the lower deck was a nice with the swing and hammock. We didn't utilize the fire pit because the weather was extremely hot and dry, but the space is nice. The dock was a perfect place to spend the day swimming. There was plenty of dock space to accommodate all of us being at the water together. The water is deep, so lifejackets and floaties made it more enjoyable for everyone. We rented a pontoon (the marina is directly across) and anchored in a couple different coves throughout the day (need your own anchor). The rock jumping wall was right around the corner. I'd recommend going earlier in the day as the boat traffic is much lighter. We also brought a little flat bottom boat, kayak, and conoe...the boat ramp is just a mile drive from the house. The tvs had full access which helped with downtime. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you would need, including a coffee pot and Keurig. We did a Walmart pickup on our way in, which saved an extra trip back to town (40 min round trip) and I would highly recommend. A few things to bring (which are communicated in the description): bath and beach towels, toilet paper is provided but our family of 11 (3 males, 8 females) brought a few extra rolls which were needed, paper towel, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee filters. Now, the practical tips... just as described, there is a significant decline/incline to and from the house/lake. We minimized our trips by packing lunches and spending the majority of the day on the water so we only had to do one trip down and one trip up. While we were able to make it work, it is something to be very conscious of when booking. The kids (7-17yo) were able to go up and down on their own. The adults (healthy 35-57yo) did ok. Obviously there is no rush and you can take the path at your own pace, but I'd be cautious with anyone with a heart or lung condition. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and exactly what our family was looking for. The booking to checking in to checking out was a very easy process. I would absolutely recommend this house and Norris Lake!

Lola's Lake House

House was clean. Nice. Ice maker wasn't working. Descent to lake was very steep. We were surprised, but adjusted. The driveway was also steep. My SUV and my daughter's minivan were ok. My other daughter's sedan bottomed out at the top. Had a great time.

Lola's lake house

The property was just as listed. We had a great time. It was very relaxing for the 7 of us. The hill up from the lake was a breath taker.

Driveway is very steep

The driveway is very steep and if you don’t have 4 wheel drive you may not make it out. The ramp to the dock is also very steep and walking up it was almost impossible if you aren’t in perfect shape. The house is very pretty and clean but there are no extras such as toilet paper or paper towels and there were no bath towels or washcloths at all.

Beautiful views. Be prepared for a walk to dock down a steep hill. Dock is on main water so have plenty of fenders. Overall good place to stay.
