Phoenix West 904



Our condo is on the 9th floor and has unreal views of the gulf!! in a perfect position overlooking the Gulf, whether from the balcony or through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room. Nearly 2,000 sq. feet, the condo is large and newly furnished as of 5/15/21.



Amenities: Our unit has a wet bar with wine cooler, 55” flat screen HDTV in living room with additional flat-screen TVs in the bedrooms. We also have a keyless entry lock on the front door so you and your family/friends do not have to keep up with keys during your stay!!



Laundry room has a full-size washer and dryer. There are two master bedrooms with King beds, the third bedroom has two Queen beds and there are two sleeper sofa queens in the living room for sleeping up to 12.



There is a lazy river, water slide, outdoor pool with a fenced-in kiddy pool, heated indoor swimming pool, two Jacuzzis, fitness center, four saunas, and roof-top tennis courts.



We also have the condo next door should you need more space for larger groups and families.



Parking: Parking pass(es) must be purchased online from Phoenix West, they are a one time fee of $58 per vehicle. You will receive a Registration Email from Vacation Rental Parking Solutions before arrival that will include a link to register your vehicle and purchase your parking pass(es). Any 3br unit you rent at Phoenix West guarantees you can purchase up to TWO parking passes, the front desk will sell you additional passes based on the occupancy of the complex during your stay but please do not expect to be able to purchase an extra pass during the summer season.

Very nice condo. The layout was great. There were several bathrooms, so others were not disturbed if they were sleeping in, and someone else was getting ready. The dual keurig sealed the deal!

I would also leave at least 2 packs of laundry and dishwasher detergent b/c these are things people forget to pack. Everything else was a plus for sure! Very nice property.

Only issue was the lazy river had lots of trash in it a couple of days and it was hard to be “lazy” with all the kids kicking you as they swam and played in the lazy river. Other than that it was a perfect week! Do wish they had an ice machine instead of a wine cooler.

Our Family Getaway

Four families stayed together in P104. The condo was perfect; beautiful, emaculate and comfortable. We loved the lazy river. Every amenity we needed was available. We will definitely be returning.

The lazy river was wonderful with plenty of tubes but the water slide was closed for the majority of our stay. The pool has no handicap accessible entrance which was a huge disappointment as my mom who is wheelchair bound was looking forward to swimming. Overall it was not exactly handicap accessible. The balcony had a big step down that prevented my mother from enjoying that as well. Location was great and condo was clean. The elevators are a nightmare. The parking was nightmare. In a condo that sleeps 12 you should be able to buy 3 parking passes since not many vehicles fit over 5.

This is the second time we have stayed at Phoenix west and would go back again. Hopefully 904 will be available again! I do wish we had an option of early check in or at least a notification of when the condo is ready. After traveling all day from Illinois it would be nice to be able to get in upon arrival (if it was cleaned already).

We had plenty of room for the 10 of us, loved having 4 bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. Sofa beds were less comfy:( I was worried about beach, pool and elevators being too crowded for a 29 story condo but we only had elevator issues on day 1. We all enjoyed the lazy river and pools, one of the main reasons we chose PhWest. Loved dealing with Charlotte,the condo rental agent, was very helpful. I have to complain about the front desk not issuing a 3rd vehicle parking permit. She said they were full but there were so many empty parking spots and after day 2 there were even empty floors of parking. Since we had to pay for off-propety parking for the week ($85 and 18 minutes away), when the front desk said I would have to pay them $55 to park overnight so we could pack up and leave in the morning; I was very upset. The condo offers parking permits for guests, check in, and events but she would not allow me to park overnight so we could pack and go...the parking is a huge drawback for the Phoenix properties. Absolutely loved The Gulf restaurant! It was perfect, right on the beach with a great view and felt like a local business-not commercialized. My family also loved The Track with its wooden racetrack and water bumper boats!!

Great Stay!

There were 9 of us ranging in ages from 9 months to 71 years old and we all had a great time! The condo was exactly as advertised. We loved being right on the beach. We also enjoyed watching dolphins from the balcony. The pool and lazy river were a lot of fun. We would definitely go back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is a great size and very lovely except for the living room and outdoor furniture. The living room furniture sits very low and all four of us had a very difficult time getting up from the chairs and the couches. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all good. Comfy beds. The worst was the outside furniture - very dirty and stained. Pillows looked like they'd never been laundered or cleaned. The tile floor outside was filthy when we got there, I guess from spills by previous guests. Also, the sliding glass door was full of handprints both inside and outside when we got there. Very very nice staff at the Phoenix West. Good restaurants near, the lazy river was spectacular. We would visit Orange Beach again and stay at Phoenix West but not sure if we'd stay in the same condo (have to be guarantied some improvements) I would recommend this property to a friend, but property not this particular unit.

Amazing! Best beach house we’ve ever stayed in!

We were 4 adults and 3 kids. We have stayed at US beach houses from Texas to Florida to Alabama and this is hands down the best one! The location, the condo size, the decor, the beds, the view, the pool, the lazy River, the indoor pool, the weight room, the parking garage, the kitchen - it was all amazing and we didn’t want to leave! We will be back!

Great time

This property was everything we could have hoped for. This condo was so nice and spacious we never felt on top of one another with three families staying together. It was our first time as a group to stay here and we are already planning on coming back next year. The only down fault is the elevators but we could over look that for the amazing time we had.
