NO BETTER VIEW THAN THIS

This beautiful full log home overlooks Henrys Lake with views of the Sawtelle Mountain range and the Tetons, you will not find a better view in all of the Island Park area. Only 13 beautiful miles to the west entrance of Yellowstone.

This beautiful home has undergone a complete renovation in 2022. Four spacious master suites each with king beds (one room can be made into double twin beds upon request) and each bedroom has it's own private on-suite bathroom. High end bedding, towels and bathrobes are all provided.

Sit out each evening and relax on the expansive deck overlooking Henry's Lake and the Sawtelle mountains. Grill steaks and enjoy a glass of wine around the fire pit or curl up in one of the large patio swings and watch the sunset.

We had a wonderful stay, beautiful and serene surrounding , best host, well stocked, beautifully decorated house. Close to the park! Could not have asked for a better rental. The host had everything stocked including flour, rice, brown sugar. All of us were so impressed! If you are visiting Yellowstone, this is the house you want to stay at! 5 star rating and more! Nancy is an excellent hostess!

The best equipped cabin I’ve ever stayed at!

Not only are the views, and the location is superb, but the host has truly thought of everything that you would need. She provided Bluetooth speakers, two way radios for Yellowstone Park, shared the best places to get groceries, and favorite hikes. One tip for my southerner friends who are traveling up north: central air is not a thing and should not be assumed. Even though it got to a high of 85 with no central air, the lack of humidity, and the constant breeze made the house so comfortable. There’s no way we could get away with that in Savannah.If you’re thinking about booking this, just do it! I’ll be one of the best decisions.

The view really is fantastic! The house layout was great. Every room had their own bathroom and with so many places to relax, we all found our favorite. Whether it was reading on one of the swings, coffee on the deck or tucked away in the loft, there was just the right place to recharge and still soak in the awesomeness of the surroundings. Collectively, our only complaint would be we spent so much time out of the house - but I’ll never regret a minute we spent in Yellowstone, the Tetons or Big Sky. This part of the country is beyond amazing and the house was a really nice place to call home base. Extra stars for the walkie talkies, we used them every day! Thank for a great week.

Picture perfect view and home!

My family and I had an incredible stay at this unique and wonderful home. The house is not only beautifully decorated with a stunning view- the host was thoughtful enough to include lots of little amenities that made our stay much more relaxing and comfortable. My teenage son mentioned it was his favorite home we have ever stayed at. We hope to be back again someday!

This place is absolutely beautiful. The views are amazing & it was big enough for our family of 7. I loved that everyone had their own king size bed & private bath
no fighting over the master bc they were all master suites. AC would have been the only thing to make it more perfect but I don’t think anyone has air in this area.

We had the absolute best time at this lovely house overlooking Henry's Lake. It truly is the best view!! What a view!

We stayed for four nights at this gorgeous home that contains everything you could possibly need. Four spacious and cosy bedrooms. Easy access to West Yellowstone town and West Yellowstone entrance into the park. Don't miss Mack's Inn Playhouse just 5 minutes down the road. Good fun and great prime rib. This house is truly a gem.

Perfect place to stay

This was a full family trip. The entire family, 17-85 years old, loved the house. You couldn’t ask for nicer hosts. They were overly accommodating from fishing poles to a step stool for use of family that was having a hard time getting up into van. The home was a perfect location to venture into Yellowstone, a trip to Jackson, or any of the surrounding areas. We had deer visiting the back yard almost every morning, and 3 moose about every other evening that visited across the street. Would recommend 10 outta 10.

Lovely Property

We originally booked this property as part of a trip to experience Yellowstone. It was definitely a hit! It's located about 20 minutes from the west entrance of the park. I would recommend getting to the park early to beat the entrance traffic. Our party consisted of two families of four. The house had enough space that all of us were comfortable. The host included some very thoughtful items which made our trip easier to manage. We used the cooler to pack lunches and snacks to avoid having to pay at the park stores. They had bear spray we could borrow (luckily we didn't have to actually use it!), and walkie talkies that helped us communicate during the drives as there's very little service throughout most of the park. The kids enjoyed the outside space. They played cornhole and made smores over the fire. Some of us even made use of the cold plunge trough. Unfortunately we left some items behind on accident and we're still waiting to hear if they could be found.

So lovely!

Just spent several days at this property and loved it! Both the house and the view were truly beautiful. House was clean and very well stocked. It had everything that you could need. We visited Yellowstone several times during our stay. It was an easy drive to the park. Nancy was a terrific host. If you rent here, you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful house!!

We picked this rental because it offered at least 3 en suite bathrooms. A family vacation with our adult children and their spouses. We like for everyone to have their own space, but yet be able to enjoy our time together. This was perfect! We enjoyed being able to grill out in the evenings after spending the day in Yellowstone. The kitchen had everything we needed. We played games, watched movies, and enjoyed playing cornhole out back. The only downside was the mosquitoes, and that’s just the nature of the area. The drive to Yellowstone was easy, about 20-25 minutes. The view of the lake was amazing! Our host Nancy was helpful and very easy to communicate with.

Location, Location, Location!

NO BETTER VIEW THAN THIS was a perfectly located and beautiful vacation rental. It was an easy drive from West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park. We sat on the deck each morning and evening to enjoy the spectacular and peaceful view. Nancy was a terrific and thoughtful host, and the home was well-equipped. Everyone enjoyed their lovely in-suite bedrooms & baths. Perfect in every way!

Amazing view indeed!

We loved this house! Every detail of the design/decor was amazing and the view of the lake was spectacular! Check in was simple, kitchen was stocked, beds were cozy, and the host was helpful and friendly. Yellowstone national park and the rodeo were close by. Would totally recommend!

Beautiful View and Best ever Hostess

My husband and I rented this VRBO to celebrate our 50 th anniversary with our grown children. The place was perfect. Four bedrooms each with king beds and private bathroom. We were ten minutes from Wedt Yellowstone and the park. Our host and hostess were the best ever. She arranged for us to have photos professionally done in her friends backyard on Lake Henry and personally escorted us there. Her husband quickly came to our rescue with remote control issues. The property has lots of windows with a view of Lake Henry and the mountains. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed including an extra fridge and ice chest. I highly recommend this property if you plan to see Yellowstone. The town also has excellent food

Stunning Views

Beautifully decorated and appointed home overlooking a spectacular mountain lake vista. Location was great for our daily visits to Yellowstone. Beds were very comfortable and everyone appreciated their own ensuite bathrooms. We viewed moose, pronghorn and sand hill cranes from the deck. Wonderful stay!

More than just a view


If we could rate the overall experience, it would be more than a 10/10. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous with breathtaking views. It was “Yellowstone” from the horse bridle toilet paper holder to the antler fixture lights. The hosts are available if you need anything. We saw many moose, a fox and deer.

What a view!..and what a place!!

So many cute details to this property, and the view is incredible. My teenage boys loved having their own rooms, and all the linens & bedding are super nice and comfy. Loved the patio and the fire table is a nice touch. Great location to explore Yellowstone as well!! Enjoy.

We bought our first cabin on Henry's Lake in 2014 and have been working hard since to renovate log homes (Rees and I work together and do all the renovations) and offer them as amazing vacation rentals. Rees owns his own commercial hardwood flooring company and I have been buying/renovating and decorating homes for the past 15 years. When we bought this home I just knew it needed a Ranch feeling and a taste of the American West.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Rees always teases (complains and grumbles) that "It's never done"... I always say "that's not true" but... "It's never done" happened one more time (for the third time). So here's to Rees. R RANCH. One more huge labor of love and we are so excited to share this one with you. So to answer, why this property? Because, it's amazing and you will not find a better view anywhere.
