NO BETTER VIEW THAN THIS

This beautiful full log home overlooks Henrys Lake with views of the Sawtelle Mountain range and the Tetons, you will not find a better view in all of the Island Park area. Only 13 beautiful miles to the west entrance of Yellowstone.

This beautiful home has undergone a complete renovation in 2022. Four spacious master suites each with king beds (one room can be made into double twin beds upon request) and each bedroom has it's own private on-suite bathroom. High end bedding, towels and bathrobes are all provided.

Sit out each evening and relax on the expansive deck overlooking Henry's Lake and the Sawtelle mountains. Grill steaks and enjoy a glass of wine around the fire pit or curl up in one of the large patio swings and watch the sunset.

The “R Ranch” is one of the most beautiful vrbo’s in the country! Nancy was an excellent host, super responsive and very welcoming. We walked into a well appointed, spectacularly decorated 4 br/4 bath home, complete with Outdoor deck, gas fire table and seating area for our group of 8 and more. The views from the deck were stunning! Such a great set up for 4 couples, just outside of Yellowstone. We’ll be back!

I would give this place 6 stars if I could! This was, without a doubt, the most beautiful place our family has stayed. We were talking about planning our trip back before we even left. The cabin is a short drive to Yellowstone, and the pictures of the views don’t do them justice! Nancy truly thought of everything. If you have the chance to stay here, you absolutely should!

This is a 100 star property!! The personal touches in the decor and the attention to detail in this property are the best we've ever experienced. Every bed and pillow was extremely comfortable. The furniture was not only comfortable but gorgeous as was every square inch of the decor. Nancy, the owner, is correct - there is no better view. The kitchen was so well stocked it was as if we hadn't left our own home. We didn't have to buy anything but fresh groceries. It even had a glass rinser!! She supplied multiple cans of bear spray, sunscreen, insect repellant, walkie talkies, beautiful perfume in every bathroom and even dental flossers. She had a huge assortment of games, cornhole, a pristine hot tub and huge hanging swings. Everything inside and out was absolutely perfect. The incredible enormous deck had more than enough beautiful, comfortable furniture for a large party. The glass fire pit table on the deck (and the fire pit area on the ground level) were greatly appreciated. Nancy was available at a second's notice (not that we actually needed her). You can see the labor of love that went into this property. What you see in the photos is very accurate. We feel privileged to have experienced this property. I know you will too!!

Picture perfect view and home!

My family and I had an incredible stay at this unique and wonderful home. The house is not only beautifully decorated with a stunning view- the host was thoughtful enough to include lots of little amenities that made our stay much more relaxing and comfortable. My teenage son mentioned it was his favorite home we have ever stayed at. We hope to be back again someday!

Great accommodations and hosts.

We wanted a cabin that accommodated 6 adults with a view and close to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons National Parks. This cabin surpassed our expectations as did our hosts, Nancy and Rees. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, enjoyable, and informed. I would highly recommend this property and we hope to return soon!

Lovely Lake Property

Very comfortable, rustic lake, well appointed home. We stayed here while exploring West Yellowstone. House was clean, beds comfortable, bathrooms well outfitted. The location was great and lake views magnificent. Earthquake Lake and Virginia City also easy to get to from this spot.

We had the absolute best time at this lovely house overlooking Henry's Lake. It truly is the best view!! Stunning Views

Beautifully decorated and appointed home overlooking a spectacular mountain lake vista. Location was great for our daily visits to Yellowstone. Beds were very comfortable and everyone appreciated their own ensuite bathrooms. We viewed moose, pronghorn and sand hill cranes from the deck. Wonderful stay!

Amazing view indeed!

We loved this house! Every detail of the design/decor was amazing and the view of the lake was spectacular! Check in was simple, kitchen was stocked, beds were cozy, and the host was helpful and friendly. Yellowstone national park and the rodeo were close by. Would totally recommend!

First Trip Out West

My family absolutely loved our trip coming from Alabama. I have never experienced a greater stay in my life. Very accommodating and honestly only had to purchase food because everything else was part of the experience. 10/10 recommend staying in this cabin if you’re visiting the area.

We bought our first cabin on Henry's Lake in 2014 and have been working hard since to renovate log homes (Rees and I work together and do all the renovations) and offer them as amazing vacation rentals. Rees owns his own commercial hardwood flooring company and I have been buying/renovating and decorating homes for the past 15 years. When we bought this home I just knew it needed a Ranch feeling and a taste of the American West.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Rees always teases (complains and grumbles) that "It's never done"... I always say "that's not true" but... "It's never done" happened one more time (for the third time). So here's to Rees. R RANCH. One more huge labor of love and we are so excited to share this one with you. So to answer, why this property? Because, it's amazing and you will not find a better view anywhere.
