Wonderful 2 bedroom apartment in the center of Everything. One block off the beach, Music Stages, Dining, and nightclubs all walking distance. Stay above one of the coolest shops in VA beach Half MoonMusic. we welcome up to 4 adults and + 2 children under 18.


“During the summer months the store below host an open mic on Sunday evenings. This runs from around 6pm-10pm on the lower deck which the apartments staircase/entryway shares. Its audible from the living room of the apartment and loading in/out may be difficult(but not impossible) during this time.”

My wife, my two boys, and myself had a great Labor Day Weekend! This place was awesome and very great for kids. They lived the playground on the beach that was very close, and their new dream catchers from the store downstairs!

Old School, Old Place. 2 blocks to cross to beach.

Easy walk to Ocean Eddies and other hotel-boardwalk, and off the boardwalk, eateries. A few clothing stores very near and a surf shop on 17th st. Great bar on 21st, go on a Thursday for live jam music. Screaming kids but fun amusement park a block away. Those planes, no more war already! Overall, clean bed, sheets and kitchen accessories : A teenagers paradise for a few days! Cons: overpriced.

Easy Breezy

We came to VA Beach for a travel basketball tournament and wanted to be able to walk to the beach between games. This quirky little apartment fit the bill. Its close proximity to boardwalk shops and eateries made it easy to access those experiences, but this means it's in the middle of all the night activity/noise, too. My teenagers didn't mind this, of course, but my little had trouble sleeping. The runners in our group wanted to log some miles where it's not so people-y and were pleased to find the peaceful trails of First Landing State Park just a 20-25 minute drive away. The Half Moon parking lot fills up with beach parking, especially on weekends, so it was awesome to have a reserved spot to come back to. The apartment was exactly as described, clean, and sufficiently stocked to get us started. Check-in and check-out were seamless and communication was prompt.

Happy on the Half Moon

My husband and two of my children loved the place! We were close to the beach and local shops/restaurants. There was everything we needed and just enough space for us all to fully relax. We will definitely try to come back again someday!

Basic, exactly what was needed

Staying in a beach town in the off season can be challenging but this spot is great! Walking distance to restaurants, the water and more! I enjoyed the accommodations and felt perfectly safe as a solo traveler in this area.
