Beautiful Saratoga Lake home with gorgeous sunsets and close to downtown

Sunset Bungalow is a charming lake home nestled between the shores of Saratoga Lake and a beautiful horse farm. It’s less than 3 miles to Saratoga Racetrack and a very short distance to all that Saratoga Springs has to offer. Take in a concert at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, meander the streets of historic downtown and sample one of the many eateries, play golf at Saratoga National, or explore the outdoors at the Saratoga Spa State Park.

The open-concept kitchen and living area offer a place to gather comfortably for daily outing planning, meal preparation or simply enjoying spectacular views of the lake.

The primary bedroom with queen bed and main bathroom are located on the first floor. A second bedroom with queen bed and bathroom are located on the second floor. Adjacent to the second bedroom is a private loft with two chairs that recline to adult sized twin beds. When setup as beds, they also have an additional foam mattress and pillow topper. Finally, there is an open loft with a computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse that is perfect for remote work or just relaxing.

There are many places for outdoor relaxation. Enjoy your day on the dock sunbathing or floating in the water. Spend the evening sitting on the front deck watching stunning sunset views or in the private backyard retreat gathered around the gas fire pit.

Two kayaks are available for guests to use at their leisure. Saratoga lake offers kayaking, boating, swimming, fishing, and water skiing.

The house includes many new amenities, including all-new modern kitchen appliances, bathrooms featuring rain showers, 3 Mitsubishi wall air conditioning units, and a backyard patio with a gas fire pit.

For your safety, there are ring cameras located on the front of the house directed toward the lake and on the back of the house directed toward the driveway.

Lovely Lake House

Completely updated interior, this house was very comfortable for 4 of us. We enjoyed being on Lake Saratoga and having unobstructed, stunning views of the lake and beautiful sunsets. Many thanks to our host, Kate for ensuring we had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend!

Family time

The Sunset Bungalow was a nicely decorated and clean lakefront home. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable for 6 adults. Outside fire pit and front porch were nice for relaxing and taking in the scenery.

Beautiful updated home right on Saratoga Lake

The home is right on the lake, minutes away from downtown Saratoga Springs, local parks, restaurants, the track, and other local attractions. Given that there is a somewhat major road between the homes and the lake, there is some vehicle noise to contend with, but you'll quickly get over that. Inside is updated, clean, bright, and very cozy!

Splendid time at Sunrise Bungalow

Met the owners who were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating as I had to drop off food before being allowed into the house. Plus they offered trails to explore and areas to kayak to. The place was clean, convenient and had almost all the amenities you can think of needing. The kayaks were an asset and the location was perfect: right on the lake. Also close to the town and plenty of other areas to hike and bike as well. Great week of vacation and yes I would rent again.

Wonderful property

Sunset Bungalow was the perfect spot for our family getaway to Saratoga! The house was very comfortable had everything we needed. Plus it was so convenient to town. We didn’t have a chance to kayak, but enjoyed having the option with the lake/dock right there. The view from the house was lovely - we enjoyed how much natural light the house provided. Kate was very responsive, great with restaurant suggestions and pleasure to rent from. We would definitely stay here again.

Saratoga Weekend

We stayed here for 3 nights with 4 adults (2 couples). We attended events at both Saratoga Raceway and the Performing Arts Center and found driving to both venues very convenient. The property owner Kate was very responsive with all communications. The house is across the street from the lake , so there are cars passing by. However there is a dock on the lake with a couple Adirondack chairs for you to enjoy the lake without the distraction of passing vehicles. The house was stocked well with kitchenware and towels. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Clean and comfortable

We had a fantastic stay at Kate's beautiful home with a stunning lake view. The cleanliness and attention to detail in the house were impressive. It was evident that the property was well-maintained with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. From a fully-equipped kitchen to cozy bedding, Kate had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. Kate was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She promptly replied to any questions we had and provided us with useful information about the area. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Kate's home for anyone looking for a clean, well-appointed, and picturesque getaway.

Saratoga Stay

We go up to Saratoga every year for the horse racing. We wanted something more family- oriented this year. Having the lake view and being out of town was nice! It’s a short trip/easy Uber to the track and town. The house was perfect for my husband and I and 2 kids. They enjoyed having the upstairs to themselves. The house is beautifully and comfortably updated and clean! (And I’m picky) Kate was very responsive to the few questions we had! If the opportunity presents itself; we would definitely stay again.

I know just where we will stay...

I'd like to begin with a big thank you to our host Kate. She went above and beyond for us and we couldn't be more grateful. Our sweet rental on Saratoga Lake was perfect! Everything you'd want your getaway to be. The sunsets were spectacular, the location was even better than I expected!!! A shout out to Doc Browns and the beach bar at doc browns - a great place to eat and be entertained by some really good bands. Our hosts home was fresh and clean, very comfortable. Bring in your bags, unpack, perhaps a glass of wine, step out on front deck immediately you're in vaca mode. Loved the gas outdoor fire pit. It was a little chilly but the fire lent plenty of heat on the evening we were out there. We were most impressed with Saratoga Springs. Although the Race Track was closed for the season we walked the perimeter which in and of itself was interesting and nostalgic. We toured the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. Also meandered through the Automobile Museum. Much to my surprise I really enjoyed it as well. Walked through congress park and learned a lot about the history of Saratoga Springs. Great taverns, and wonderful restaurants through out. Kate's home is literally just a short drive away. Although we did much in the 4 days we were there I look forward to another 4 days in the future because there are many more adventures yet to be had in this sweet town and I know just where we will stay. Thank you, Kate.

Great, comfortable and well appointed space.

This house had wonderful kitchen and supplies. 1st floor was very well laid out with comfortable furniture. The stairs to the upstairs rooms was Very Steep. There is 1 traditional bedroom and 2 rooms (open to downstairs livingroom) and "flip" beds. OK for young people but not older adults. Kate was on-top of communications.

Lovely home!

We had such a nice stay at this beautiful lakefront home. The sunsets over the lake are beautiful. Location is perfect. We had a great time out on the kyaks and took a short drive down the road to a cute public beach. We will be back!

Absolutely Perfect!

This "Sunset Bungalow" certainly lived up to its name! Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Saratoga thanks to this beautiful home. Our kids (9 & 10) absolutely loved the horses at the property bordering the backyard as well as taking the kayaks out on the lake. We came for a concert at SPAC and the location of this house was perfect for easily accessing the downtown and the state park but far enough away to not feel like it was super busy. Kate was an absolute pleasure to deal with and gave us a warm welcome into her lake house. We'll definitely be back next year!

Perfect Location

The view from the house over the lake is spectacular! And the location was perfect for our stay. It was a 10 minute drive in one direction to the horse show and a 10 minute drive in the other to go into town. The house is beautifully decorated and the owner was helpful and responsive! We would definitely stay here again

The bungalow is absolutely perfect! Everything was even better than the pictures and we had a wonderful time. The house is close to everything and was well stocked with everything you need. The kayaks were a blast. We will definitely be back!

Great New Home with Lake views and Lake access

We are experienced VRBO renters, and enjoyed our stay. Kate was a great host and communicator. The home is decorated beautifully with supportive, comfortable, well placed furniture. The amenities are like the ones found in an upscale bed and breakfast. The photos are accurate. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake with their like new comfortable kayaks.

Saratoga house with fantastic view

We had a great time in this well appointed house. Kate was a great host. The view of Saratoga Lake was fantastic especially the sunsets. The only issue was the main bedroom’s wall which is next to the kitchen does not extend to the ceiling so there is light & noise coming from the kitchen area. Also there were no small children with us this property would not be appropriate for young children because of the open loft area. For adults it is great.
