Quiet & Secluded yet short distance to everything!

Hidden Gem right in town! Cute 1BR/1BA cottage sitting nestled in giant oaks. Front porch for sitting out and enjoying nature. Sits on wooded lot with a fire pit for evening fire or just relax on the comfy couch or chair and watch TV. All the things needed for a quiet getaway yet within driving distance to everything. Centrally located with 30 minutes of Tampa, Lakeland, Wesley Chapel.


Photo IDs will be required before check-in and ID must match one of the parties that booked the reservation.

NOTE: we do offer 3 short term winter RV sites on the property also and it is adjacent to the cottage with a lovely painted privacy fence separating it. One RV is long term and keeps and eye on property.
There are 3 outdoor cameras on cottage for your security as well as our home and a ring camera on the home facing out to driveway. Notifications are turned off at time of bookings.

Cleanliness (cobwebs, dirty floor, dishes in cupboard had grease and red sauce on them.Quiet, not. Excavator running throughout the stay. Perpetual campfire smoke and smell from burning trees and scrub.Secluded, yes. Presence of RVs on site was mentioned in the listing, however, proximity to the cottage was not adequately described or shown. Also, the presence of two utility trailers, one boat trailer and one car trailer in addition to two travel trailers in addition to the hosts fifth wheel in plain view from the cottage was not expected.The presence of high voltage electrical transmission lines running through the property was never mentioned.Finally, it should be noted if that throw rugs are present they can pose a hazard to older guests with disabilities. The absence of grab bars in the shower should also be mentioned.

This cottage provides quiet & peacefulness just a stone’s throw away from the highly trafficked commercial area. The host provides EVERYTHING you could need in a stay away from home! Clean & well stocked. Communication was always timely, kind & helpful. (Be sure to pay attention to the host’s directions, not your GPS!)

Perfect for couple

We needed extra space for family during the holidays and this was the perfect place. Cozy little space in a quiet secluded area. Easy to get to from Wesley Chapel which was where the rest of the family was. Hosts were easy to reach and check in several times to make sure everything was running smoothly with our stay.

The property was modern, clean and quiet. Still, a short drive, (1/4 mile maybe) put us close to all the stores and services we wanted as part of our vacation. We would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend!!

Peaceful, Cozy Getaway

First timers here, visiting family nearby, and the comfy cottage really lived up to its listing. It was so comfortable and inviting at the end of each day to drive down a country lane to modern and comfortable conveniences to relax and rest. Owners were very friendly and professional, communicating quickly about details and offering assistance settling in to the cottage and area. Hope to return!

A Little Slice of Heaven

The crown "jewel" with our trip to Florida, was vacationing at this darling cottage. Immaculate with all amenities provided. Jennifer is a gracious hostess and made sure our needs were met. Sweet and quiet location but close to shopping and sites of interest. ofinterest.

Perfect little hideaway

If you are looking for a quiet little home away from home this is your place! Has everything you need for a vacation getaway! After a long day of being out you can come home to your own little place and not have to worry about anyone else being around or being noisy! Great property and setting

Sweet cottage

This cottage was just perfect for two people. Very clean, nicely furnished and decorated. It was the perfect home base for us as we were visiting various areas for the week. Don’t hesitate to book this if you enjoy quiet, casual and peaceful surroundings!

Peaceful Retreat

Great little one bedroom, one bath home in a country setting in the middle of town. Clean and comfortable perfect for two. Was a great home base for visiting the Zephyrhills area and family. So much nicer than staying in a hotel.

My Name is Jennifer and I grew up on this property spending weekends here and then living here after I grew up. My late mother purchased the house in 2017 to have as quiet getaway in her later years of life. I have chosen to offer this to travelers now as a relaxing getaway while in Florida. My husband and I hope that others can enjoy it as much as she did. That is why it is aptly named "Jewel's Hideaway".
