FALL IS A GREAT TIME FOR A BEACH TRIP/ GREAT COUPLES GETAWAY

The Blue Surf complex, with only 34 units, has been a family favorite for a number of years. You will enjoy the spacious grounds, close beach access, lush tropical landscaping, a seasonally heated pool (Oct - April), shuffleboard court, and convenient access to area restaurants, shopping, the outlet mall, golf courses, and other activities. Pompano Joe's, a landmark seafood restaurant right on the beach, is only steps away. Happy hour is from 2-4 daily.

The seasonally heated pool is a few steps from your private patio. The beach is 100 yards away with beach access directly across from the Blue Surf property.

For your convenience, Blue Surf Unit 15A has a designated parking space right outside the front door.

Blue Surf has been a family favorite for years! Because of the unique horseshoe-shaped design, every one-bedroom unit has a private patio and is just steps from the pool and every two-bedroom unit also has a private patio and you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Gulf of America from the private 2nd floor balcony. Imagine waking up every morning to sit outside on your private patio drinking a cup of coffee or a mimosa and hearing the waves splash the shore from your private patio. The pool is also centrally located, and everyone can enjoy a game of catch in the large courtyard area.

The beautiful white beaches and turquoise water of the Gulf of America is a short walk out the front of Blue Surf where you will find a cross walk that takes you directly to the beach where you will put your feet in the cool white sand. Once on the beach, you will be provided with 2 chairs and 1 umbrella (March - October) that will be set up for you daily. This is an amazing amenity that is included with your rental. Sit down and enjoy the beautiful views, read a book, have an ice-cold beverage, take a walk in along the shore or take a nap, it doesn't matter what you are doing, you are on vacation, and you can just sit and relax.

This property is small but in an excellent location in Miramar Beach Florida and was just perfect for the 2 of us senior citizens. The unit is tasteful done with every amenity you could want. The only drawback was we had a small dachshund dog and dogs were allowed in the unit but not anywhere on the property so we had to walk to the vacant property next door which was trashy. All in all we highly recommend this place

Wonderful beach condo

My husband and I loved this condo. It seemed to have just been redone. The washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, and microwave looked new. The king-size bed was very clean and comfortable. We loved the shower. The whole complex was well kept. The public beach was just across the highway. We walked out each morning to our front-row beach umbrella and chairs. We also enjoyed the heated pool.

Great Fall Break vacation

Great location, first floor condo, easy to unload with our vehicle right outside the front door. Easy access to the beach and pool. Enjoyed the convenience of beach service umbrella & chairs. Property was clean and no odors which is great being pet friendly. It had all needed amenities, except no ice maker in the freezer. Management company was very responsive to bringing ice trays and responded to an internet outage. Overall a great experience.

We often ordinarily in this immediate area...

Our daughter had stayed at Blue Surf, but this was our first visit. Cons: 1) difficult sliding door. It took a tug with both arms for me to open and close, and the wood bar used as an additional lock was large and heavy for me to move about with the curtain in the way. Minor inconvenience; 2) the wifi didn't work well, and television would usually just freeze/spin. Signal didn't reach to patio. 3) It could use a bit more kitchen items, i.e. no scissors, baking sheets, or cutting board that we were able to locate. 4) Regarding the complex, we didn't have use of the pool for a couple of days due to waiting on a repair, so an unforeseen occurrence that couldn't be avoided. Pros: 1) We had family 2 condos down, and loved that they were able to rent beach service next to us. 2) Parking was marked and very convenient. 3)The condo came with ample towels and soaps. 4) Washer and dryer worked great. 5) Communication about not being able to check in was fast and smooth, and the issue was my fault due to a landline being listed in my account although code was sent via text. It was quickly remedied. 6) Rules, pool bracelets, and other info were conveniently located in a binder. 7) AC worked well. 8) Bed pillows and linens were nice, and bedroom closet had plenty of hangers. There were a couple of damaged places on the living area ceiling, but didn't detract for us. We would stay here again.

Property and location were great, but it was my first time to use Vrbo and I was floored by how high the fees are! The nightly rates are misleading because they don’t include the fees.

Dissapointing experience - left one week early that we paid for

* Did not feel place was as it should have been(toilet hadn't been cleaned) *Dripping water under sink, had to dump bowl when full. Washer site had an odor due to the leaking water under the washer. * Had to kill 3 cockroaches. * They need to get more items in the kitchen, ie. bowls, silverware, a knife that can cut a tomato etc. Property light outside was out and it was not safe. could not punch in code to the door without a flashlight. * The furnace did not have instructions and it was cold. Ron had to call the owners to find out how to turn on the furnace., Second tv did not work.. took about 3-4 days for this to resolve. * the biggest reason we were so disappointed was the people above us. We did not get a full nights sleep for 2 weeks. No exaggeration . They were up dragging chairs, tables, dropping items, this was done between 10p to 3am in the morning. We had alarms going off from the upstairs unit and that was a constant buzzing. We would notice the patio door in the early am when I swam in the pool was open at 6am with a fan blowing out. ( it may have been 38 degrees out). We were very uncomfortable, did not know what was going on up there.. were they doing drugs? what were they doing? shower at all times between midnight in 4am.... for a minimum of 30 minutes... * will never recommend this resort, we went through VRBO and assumed that the resort would be checked out and that VRBO would make sure we were getting our monies worth. *

Great little place! Updated & nice. Only thing I would change or update ( if possible) is parking. Cars have grown & it doesn’t seem like the parking spots have grown with the size of cars. We have a full size truck & parking was very tight with the parallel spots along the back of the lot .

September Beach Stay

We enjoyed our stay and the property was very nice, except we had the following issues: Whoever does the repairs is not very precise. Paint repairs are a different finish (flat versus satin) so the walls are spotted, a large unfinished patch in the bathroom was raised and very rough, paint was peeling off the bathroom door, the front door handle is mounted backwards, there's a switch for a garbage disposal but there is no garbage disposal. The units allow pets, but you're not allowed to have them on the property so you must walk them where there is no grass. If you go up to the main sidewalk, there are many, many animals, walkers and cyclists using the path which makes it difficult. We received the check-out policy a couple days before we were due to check in. After paying a large amount to rent the unit for a week, we are supposed to empty every trash can in the unit, strip the beds and stack the laundry next to the washer, start a load of towels and load and run the dishwasher. This makes us one of the cleaning crew. In addition, how do we know that the previous tenants actually used laundry detergent before starting the laundry? And why is this our job? In addition, when we arrived, there were wet towels in the washer, towels drying in the dryer and we never had sheets/pillowcases for the sleeper sofa. One of the days it rained, but stopped around 11 a.m. We went down to the beach at 11:30 a.m. The other condos had the chairs and umbrellas set out, but ours did not--just the chairs and it wasn't windy. We contacted the owner about getting the umbrellas and we were told to "keep an eye out for him" and apparently there is no phone number to call. On the last day we were there, the person who set up the umbrellas started coming by around 4:15, stopping in front of us and asking if we were supposed to be using the umbrellas. This happened at 4:15, 4:25 and again before we left at 4:50 p.m.. I doubt we will stay here again.

Blue surf has a cleaning service that comes in and cleans before check-in time, it could’ve been a lot cleaner. And then they expect you to start a load of towels and wash clause before you leave. The patio area outside was very dirty. And the welcome mats were just thrown out on the grass. We will not be returning to blue surf in the future. Well not recommend to friends or family. Reached out to the property manager to make her aware that the ceiling fan was not working in the living room, and never got a response back on how to work it.The appliances could be updated.

Fantastic location!

Had a fantastic trip. Owner was great to work with as well. House keeper was amazing and extremely quick to help (only needed one). Highly recommend for a small family looking for a beach vacation without all the bells and whistles.

Perfect!

This condo is perfect for a couple or a small family. It is so convenient to the beach and if salt water isn’t your thing , the pool is right out your door. The location is close to the beach and Pompano Joes for a quick bite or a great drink. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Blue Surf is located in Miramar Beach and is in the perfect location for getting to so many different things while there, either on foot, by bike, or by car. You are only 100 yards to the beautiful white sand beaches and the crystal blue waters of the Gulf. The ever so popular beach hang out Pompano Joe's (a landmark seafood restaurant) is right across the street from Blue Surf. Kenny D's, Surf Hut, Whales Tail, Captain Dave's are all within walking distance as well. Grocery shopping (Walmart, Winn Dixie, Publix, Whole Foods) is just a very short drive away, as well as the outlet mall. You can't go wrong with the Blue Surf location
