Beautiful Lakehouse with Pontoon and Hot Tub

Wishin' and Fishin' has 3 levels of living space that encourage fun and relaxation for your lake vacation. The main level includes a fully equipped kitchen with all cooking utensils and dishwasher, an indoor and an outdoor dining and grilling area that can accommodate large groups, a wrap around deck with different social spaces, a full bathroom and a cozy living room with an air conditioning unit. *a master bedroom, complete with a large closet, tv, a small walk out deck, and most importantly a king size bed
*a large bedroom with a queen size bed, dressers, and large closet
*a smaller bedroom with a set of twin bunk beds, a trundle, a closet full of board games and some toys
*sleeps nine in beds
*a full bath
*an air conditioning unit that keeps the bedrooms and downstairs cool
The lower level of the house has a bedroom with a full size bed and a beautiful view of the lake. The lower level also has a three seasons room with a hot tub, beach towels and tons of toys for the lake, including floats, kayaks, a stand up paddle board, life jackets, fishing supplies and a water mat. The hot tub, dock and all lake toys are not available in the winter and spring.

We have tons of water toys! Our old trusty pontoon holds nine people and is very easy to drive. NY State requires an online boat safety course to get a boat license. We also have two adult kayaks, a kids kayak and an adult SUP. We have tons of blow up floats and a water mat. We have corn hole and various yard games for your pleasure and relaxation.

This is Friday to Friday rental or Saturday to Saturday (if available) in the summer. Check in is at 3pm. Check out is 11am. In the off season (September through April), check in is any time on Friday and check out is anytime on Sunday. In February and March, this is an excellent place to ice fish. Please ask around or call about the conditions.

There are two grassy areas - one fenced in area along the road that is perfect for a corn hole game and another newly expanded flat grassy area along the lake which includes a sandy shoreline, a firepit and many lawn chairs. Please do not climb on or walk across the retaining wall.

The Aqua Thruster is connected to the dock and it has a propeller that circulates the lake water to prevent seaweed from building up. Please do not adjust it or turn it on and off. There is a safety guard around the propeller so it's not dangerous to swim near.

There a three parking spots on the street in front of the house. There is also room for off street parking across the street in our own lot for several cars and boat trailers and a large yard great for walks or soccer games (1 acre). There is a kayak, a paddleboard and a kids kayak for your use. The dock has chairs and space to lounge and fish. This is an excellent spot to catch, bass, sunfish and perhaps the infamous Conesus Lake pike or walleye. The swimming area of the lake has a weed mat to control the seaweed and aqua thruster to push the seaweed away from the beach.

There are no dogs or pets allowed in this property, starting in 2023, without permission. We have had screens ruined, doors scratched up and furniture chewed up and it's just more work than we can manage ourselves. Sorry!

Wishin' and Fishin' in located about half way down East Lake road. It has excellent views of the sunset and is about a ten minute drive from restaurants, gas stations and shops. Be sure to check out a nearby Conesus classic for food, supplies and vintageness - Shoreless Acres and Serious Food. A public marina is a 2 minute drive away.

We have been renters on the lake for 35 years and this is our fifth year as owners. If there's anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable, please let us know. We are able to split payment up into two or three payments, just ask!
