I and my 93 year old mother stayed in the home to celebrate Thanksgiving with my daughter and her family. We needed to stay an extra day/night due to an unexpected snowstorm and Tamara graciously allowed us to do so.

This property was just what my husband needed while working out of town for a couple months. Just a short drive to Midland and other cities. Tamara was excellent at quickly responding to questions and very accommodating when needing to extend the stay.

Great place!

The property was clean, quiet, and perfect size for what we needed! Check in process was easy and host was quick to respond to any questions. Partner was able to work remotely with no issues and we were able to enjoy the surrounding area while being able to come back to a quiet and relaxing environment. Neighbors were doing some work, but were great about keeping the noise down as much as possible. Overall great stay! Would definitely stay again without hesitation!

Home sweet home in Freeland, Michigan

This was the perfect situation for us. We needed a ranch style home with two bedrooms, a walk-in shower, & washer/dryer all within close proximity to my son's home in Midland. The house was clean, quiet and contained all the amenities you might need. This was our first experience renting a vacation home and it definitely met & exceeded our expectations. Peace and quiet!

I was in town for 2 weeks for a retreat and it was nice to be able to come back and have a space for just me and my son that was so peaceful and quiet. Neighbors were delightful on the rare occasion we passed one another. Kitchen had everything needed to cook. I used Instacart and door dash with no problem. Host was very responsive. It was clean, and cooled when we arrived, and smelled amazing! I literally have zero complaints. Should we find ourselves in Freeland again and her place is available, it will definitely be our preferred stop! The town is amazing, I suggest Midlamd over Saginaw for shopping, but I found everything I needed with lovely short scenic drives! You will definitely enjoy your stay here!

Cleanliness

Garbage left on front porch, food left in freezer, coffee pot not cleaned out. TV didn't work properly (owner temp fixed) needed to use two remotes couldn't remove CC. For senior citizens: needs a handrail in shower. Could use a table lamp in MB (instead of using a wall switch. No casserole dishes, very few pots. I realize this was the exception not the rule of House Cleaning.

Clean and comfortable!

Great place to stay. The home was clean, the back deck area was relaxing, and even the neighbors were very friendly! Everything was very nice, however if you are planning on doing any cooking, there are limited pots and pans, so be sure to bring your own! Overall a wonderful experience!

Place was wonderful. Neighborhood is quiet. I stayed because would prefer to stay in house than a hotel room. Cost the same but much better than a hotel. Will definitely check availability next time I visit family in the area.

Convenient location near SVSU

We stayed in Freeland for a weekend while attending a swim meet at SVSU. We appreciated the quiet place and location away from Saginaw. We also appreciated the well stocked kitchen, laundry facilities, and cleanliness. Thank you for an excellent weekend stay.
