Was a beautiful house.

Beds were hard. Ran out of toilet paper in some bathrooms and no extra anywhere. No shampoo or body wash in bathrooms . Downstairs pillows were not clean. Grounds were spectacular. View was so beautiful. Screen porch was a great place to sit and enjoy the view.

Wonderful Stay on Lake Palmer!

Beautiful lake house in Colon, MI! We had a wonderful stay on this property. The house itself is clean, comfortable and quiet; my 10 year old especially loved the ping pong table in the basement! We loved the lakeshore and grounds; there are two docks and lots of seating as well as a fire pit. It rained one morning and being able to sit in the large screened in porch to watch the lake while it rained was just perfect. There was a kayak, fishing pole, floats in the garage that were available for use. There’s also a great playground that is walking distance which was a big hit. We would absolutely come back; thank you Denise for the rental and quick communications when we needed it!

Very clean. As advertised. Great back porch, yard, and fire pit area. Nice to have a kayak on property. Only suggestions to improve the experience: A Keurig coffee maker, and a king size bed in one of the bedrooms.

Great stay

Needed somewhere for our family visiting family in the area. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The property is very well maintained and owners were easy to communicate with! With our group it was the right amount of space and being right on the lake was added bonus. Highly recommend

Great time!

We had a great time at the cottage! It was beautiful, very clean, and very spacious! The screened in porch was amazing, even when it rained we could still enjoy being outside. Would definitely stay here again!

Annual Life Group Lake Weekend

We sooo enjoyed our time at this beautiful lakehouse. So spacious & comfortable . We especially loved spending time on the screened in porch overlooking the beautiful lake. The property was perfect! We enjoyed the lake with swimming and boating. Great fire pit, too! The only drawback was the beds. Our suggestion to any Host renting your house would be to have Queen beds. We were a group of 8 & not small people, my husband & I had one of the full beds & did not sleep good all weekend. Both almost 6' and about 400 lbs total in a double bed. Ouch! A couple other things to mention for host to be aware of...The one fan in the sunroom did not work. It was in the 90's when we were there, nor did the VCR which was disappointing as we brought a dozen movies. We tried several different movies & each one kept skipping where they could not be watched. :( Other than these few issues, it was a perfect place !!

Amazing House/Lake

Denise's house was more amazing than expecting. The photos don't do it justice. So much space and a great screened in porch. The yard and fire pit were a great addition. Denise was very communicative leading up to the trip. We all had a blast.

We bought this lake property with the intention of remodeling and flipping it but...it was so beautiful and in the neighborhood where my husband grew up so we decided to keep it. As a family we like to spend time there when it is not rented. If you book this property it is possible that you will see us on occasion coming to the lake to take the pontoon out for a boat ride.
