Loved this little cottage. Simple & clean, Right at beginning of strip, general store right there, 5 minute walk to state park, which was perfect for morning coffee over looking lake. Host responds quickly to any questions.

Very cute cottage at Geneva on the lake! The cottage itself was exactly what we needed for the night. Nice patio/firepit area. Nice and peaceful and very clean stay. The price was reasonable and the place was very cute. Host was very responsive. I did have questions because they said I should have received check-in information, but I never did. I reached out and they replied promptly. The host accommodated early check-in, which was really appreciated!! Only important things to know is that this location is NOT accurate. I purposely chose this Vrbo because I had my older mother with me and she has a very hard time walking. The listing shows it is located in the center of the strip by Eddie's grill. This is not accurate at all. It is actually located at the very far end of the strip, past east end bar & grill. The listing before you book shows it right near Eddie's grill but as soon as you get your booking confirmed and you receive the address, it then changes the location to where it actually is, which is much farther. Disappointing that this listing location was not accurate so giving others a warning. That is huge detail that is very misleading and needs to be updated immediately. The group staying in the cottage across from us brought up the same issue to us and said they were also frustrated with the fact that the listing location is not accurate. Overall, this was a wonderful stay!! Just be aware of the actual location.

Thanks for staying! Glad you had a nice time. Just a reminder for your future bookings that Airbnb and VRBO both use a radius based location system which shows the general vicinity of properties within a certain radius when booking to protect the hosts. And since the strip is such a small area that the radius may show the locations as a couple streets give or take on the location. But Always just a 5 minute walk to anywhere on the strip! And a quiet spot to get a good nights rest and still be right in the action. Thanks for staying, just wanted to inform you how the websites work for us hosts so you can be informed. Thanks again for staying at one of geneva on the lake’s highest rated properties! It’s guests like yourself that keep us so highly rated. Come again soon!

Cool little cottage for sure!

We enjoyed our stay in Cottage #3. GOTL is a quaint throwback town that has the beach boardwalk feel of the the 60's.

Perfect for what I wanted

The location was great, it was right off of the strip. So we were able to walk to multiple restaurants, stores,and bars throughout our stay. The room was very clean and well stocked. This place is very relaxing and the 3 cottages are so cute, I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a night away!

My boyfriend and I wanted a quick night out of our home town and landed on staying here. It was very nice inside and clean! Perfect for just the 2 of us. I ran into one of the owners when we first got there and she was very sweet. Cabin is very close to a couple restaurants/bars and close to the strip in general. Entry was simple and we enjoyed our stay!

quaint little cabins. Got pretty noisy with a bar band across the street and 2 doors down. Lots of motorcycle traffic. We appreciated the coffee supplies!

Very easy booking cottage- The key code entering cottage was very challenging- we could not get in our cottage- We tried to Email with not success- Finally after 15 - 20 min we were able to enter. Would be helpful if we had owners phone number before entering cottage

Hello Ann. If you have ever used VRBO you know the hosts phone number is always available on the booking page for whatever you may need throughout your stay. I’m not sure if this was your first time using a digital keypad for a house but your code ended up working fine, once you keyed it in correctly. We know technology isn’t for everyone but these keypads make it easier for our guests to check in and out on their own and keep them and their belongings safe with their own personalized code. Next time you are at a property with a keypad just double check your code when you are entering making sure you aren’t switching the numbers, cause this was our first experience in years of someone mixing the numbers up. Thanks again for staying.

Overnight stay

We stayed at this cabin last night and had an excellent time! We arrived at about 4:30 and had no problems getting in. The location is great, everything is within walking distance. The cabin was very clean and the owners provide everything you could need for your stay! We hope to come back with a group and rent all three cabins together!

Cute Cottage

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. It was clean, had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Right at the end of the GOTL strip and easy walking distance to all the fun shops/restaurants. Would definitely return in the future!

Awesome Rental

Owners were incredibly accommodating to all of our needs and even were gracious enough to allow us to check in an hour early so we didn’t miss an event my wife and I had scheduled for our anniversary. Property is literally right at the beginning of the strip and within walking distance of a park and every bar or restaurant you could think of at GOTL. Highly recommend.
