First thing to note when planning a trip to Daufuskie Island is there is NO Bridge. To reach our island you must book a ferry, water taxi or come by your own boat. Once on the island you’ll need grounds transport from your arrival dock to your JonBie Maisons vacation home. JonBie Maisons has options listed for both ferry/water taxi and transport providers and will be happy to make recommendations based on your travel arrangements.

We’re excited to host you so please check out the specifics of our home below.

This premium cottage is a brand new remodel and has it all. Situated on the 2nd row of Daufuskie’s beautiful Avenue of Oaks, JonBie Maison Deux guests will look to the Atlantic Ocean beach from the front porch and enjoy serene tidal creek and marsh views from the back. The cottage has a wonderful location, and cottage guests will be just steps away from the pristine Melrose Beach .

The interior of the cottage is open and spacious living/dining/kitchen area that is great for family and friend time. The cottage includes flat screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. WIFI is Free during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with service for 8 or more with full size stainless steel appliances, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and a stocked Coffee/Tea Bar, making meal preparation easy for you and your family throughout your stay - even Holidays! Meals can be enjoyed in the dining area or screened porch.

A laundry room with full size washer and dryer is also available to make island life more convenient and comfortable; and there is a high chair and pack & play for your infant and toddler needs.

A golf cart is also included with your booking. Information for reserving additional carts will be provided at booking GAS CARTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT ALL JONBIE COTTAGES & VILLAS and Carts are NOT to be used for hauling luggage, groceries, coolers, etc.

We loved our experience at Daufuskie. Tammy was a great host. She answered immediately to our questions. All important essentials were included in the stay which made it very convenient for our first stay on Daufuskie. We definitely would love to come back. The golf cart was included which was also nice and one less thing to deal with on our trip. The house was perfect for us and plenty of room and space.

Great Place!

Family of six (10, 11, 19, 21) all had a blast. Stayed for six nights and certainly didn’t want to leave. This house had everything we needed and was very well appointed. Daufuskie is a hidden gem for sure. Hope to be back!

Relaxing Visit

Kurt met us at the house on our arrival and gave descriptions of the island dining options, tips for golf cart, grill, etc. No rush, and a pleasant introduction for our stay. The house was perfect, the kitchen well stocked, and the back screen porch was wonderful!

Fun in Daufuskie!

We loved our time as a family of 4 on Daufuskie! Property was just as described. The owners were quick to respond with any questions I had about the Island or the house. Clean, quiet, fun and beautiful! The golf cart made getting around the island extra fun and easy. We will be back!

Phenomenal Hosts

We had an absolutely amazing stay on Daufuskie Island. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Our hosts Tammy and Kurt were friendly and wonderful. The cottage was cute and clean. The island was so unique and special. I selfishly almost didn't want to leave a review because I wanted to keep this special place to myself!!!

Outstanding Visit

Was greeted warmly by Kurt when we arrived, who informed us all about the island and good things to know about. The house was amazing and roomy, had everything you could want and more. The beds were super comfy. Overall a great first stay on the island for our family. The golf cart was fast to get around on and lasted all day for our adventures.

A little slice of paradise

If you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation, look no further! This place was absolutely beautiful and a great location with close beach access. We will be renting again! Try the peel and eat shrimp at Old Daufauskie Crab Co but beware the Scrap Iron Teas! They are sneaky!

Great place and location

Our stay was great! Easy check in, golf cart was a necessity! Very clean and comfortable. We didn’t realize this house is actually a duplex. Probably wouldn’t have mattered but was a surprise. Close to beach and the Melrose Restaurant which was wonderful. Very responsive hosts when we had questions. Would definitely stay there again!

Heaven by the sea

This was our second time staying at this amazing location. Yes it is remote and difficult to get to but that is the point. Wonderful layout and tons of space with a short walk to the beach. The place insists you slow down and enjoy life. My only regret about this place is having to leave.

Adventure in Daufuski

The island is quiet and not crowded by usual beach tourist locations. The beaches are clean. It provides lots of historical places to explore and learn. Most restaurants are outdoor seating and light fare. We loved the casual relaxed atmosphere of the island. You must ferry over and travel by golf cart only on the island.
