Daufuskie Island Oceanfront Retreat

Daufuskie Island is only accessible by ferry!!! This oceanfront Daufuskie Island cottage boasts 2 extra large inviting bedrooms with 1 king bed and 1 queen bed in each bedroom, each with it's own on-suite bathroom with showers only. The living room is very spacious and cozy with cable TV/smart TV and seats 8 adults comfortably. The dining room table can seat up to 8. Enjoy breathtaking oceanfront view on your own, private, very spacious screened-in porch! Our cottage can accommodate up to 8 adults, comfortably. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a full size washer/dryer, AC/heating and WiFi, our guests will feel right at home.  We have also added a brand new, private fire pit off the back porch, overlooking the ocean. We have a 6-passenger electric golf cart to offer our guests to use at a discounted rate.

A wonderful beachfront view and totally relaxing ambiance. Even our pups enjoyed the beach environment. Weather didn’t matter— clouds, rain, sun, breeze— complete relaxation to the sound of surf breaking,.Convenient to Melrose Oyster House for food, drinks, and grocery.

Great spot GREAT back porch

This was a great relaxing getaway We rented the golf cart which was a must to get anywhere The back porch was so great in the morning and in the evening We walked right onto to the beach and also hung out at the Melrose poolOwner of property was quick to respond and very accommodating. Would highly recommend!!

We stayed at this property during our family vacation. There was enough room for the 6 of us to relax and prepare meals comfortably. We were disappointed that the kayaks advertised in the listing were not available. We noticed the kayaks have since been removed from the listing. We asked if beach towels were included and were told that they were not. When we got to the property there were plenty of beach towels. Would highly recommend renting the golf cart that is offered. Overall, the area was beautiful and we will definitely be visiting Daufuskie again!

What a beautiful, peaceful, serene, stunning island. This house has large rooms that help with respite feelings. The golf cart is a must if staying here. Explore the whole island. Bring meats and drinks over in a cooler. The home has stunning views and a very comfy house with everything you need.

Quiet and Relaxing Getaway

This location is perfect for a quiet relaxing getaway. Clean and well appointed 2 bedroom unit with plenty of room. The view from the screened in back porch spans from Hilton Head across the sound over to Tybee. It is steps from the beach. It is also walking distance to Melrose Oyster House for a meal, quick stop at the bar or the pool. The Owner was very responsive and offered suggestions for the ferry, transportation, dinner and groceries. The optional 6-seat golf cart was very convenient. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Beautiful property

We had the best time at the beach house! Everything was clean and up to date. We rented the golf cart from owner (highly recommend) and had no problems navigating the island within a day! It really does feel like you have this secret place that’s protected by locals and also equally loved. We will absolutely be back to this property in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Relaxing get away

Incredibly comfortable and very well equipped cottage by the water. Honestly can’t say enough about how relaxing this place is. We really appreciated the owner helping us navigate our first, but definitely not last visit.
