Overall, the property was spacious and worked well for our large group. The amenities were so nice to have and the location was great close to some things to do in the Poconos plus stores and restaurants. We had some issues during our stay but the owner responded quickly and helped as best as they could. That being said, I do think the house could use a bit of TLC as some of the locks were broken, only half the grill worked, many lightbulbs were out, and there was a weird sewer smell in the basement.

The pool had green algae when we arrived and the heater wasn’t working. The pool guy had to replace the filter pump in addition to power vacuuming the pool. We also realized the pool is not level. On the next to last day we had to call again to get someone to fix the pool heater again and he had to vacuum the pool again. ALso on that day he worked on the hot tub - there were only two jets working.

Beautiful home exactly as pictured. Family friendly perfect for large groups exactly like the pictures. Needs a few upgrading around the house but nothing drastic. Excellent communication with hosts. Overall wonderful stay highly recommended.

Served our purposes beautifully, family ages three to ninety, great swimming pool area and back yard for relaxing, grilling, and hanging around the fire pit. Fulfilled all our expectations, would come back again, great accommodations and great value

Great place

We had a fantastic visit here. We comfortable fit 19 people for a family reunion. The kitchen and large wooden table were perfect for our large family meals. The pool was a hightlight as well as the game room downstairs. Overall, we had a wonderful time here. We hope to come back next summer!

Although this was a last minute booking due to another house cancelling our trip a week prior, I was surprised to find that the driveways had not been cleared from the storm from two weeks prior. Because of this, it was difficult to get to the dumpster (which was just about full upon our arrival). The house itself could use a deep cleaning - there was sand from the shuffboard table all over the floor, and sewer flies in the basement bathroom. The house is incredibly spacious and GREAT for large groups, but I feel that it is in need of a deep clean.

My family and I have not been able to get together for a while. This was a reunion and we all wanted to spend as much time together as possible. It was the perfect getaway.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is in need of maintenance work, but it did not significantly impact our stay. Owner was responsive to issues that arose. I would suggest the owner invest in some updates and general maintenance.

As amazing as it looks, possibly better!

When first arriving at the property, the check-in was quite simple, and everything was very easy to navigate throughout the house. All bathrooms were well-prepared with towels, kitchen with utensils, cups, plates, etc. and the bedrooms neatly put together. The pool was amazing as well as the hot tub. I would also strongly advise taking a moment in the sauna. I would recommend this stay to anyone in larger groups as there is more than enough space to accommodate. 10/10 experience!

What a wonderful house for a big group!!

We had an amazing time!! The house was perfect for our large group. We especially liked all being able to hang out together in the main area. All 20 can spread around the open kitchen, living room, dining table and be part of what is going on outside as well. It was perfect. We had a couple small challenges that Alex took care of immediately. He is a man of his word, which is very rare these days, especially with rentals. Will definitely rent from him again!!!

Family Pocono Vacation

This house was amazing for our large family! Plenty of space for everyone, inside & out. We had people in the living room while others were playing games in the dining room and the kitchen's long table. Downstairs was great with ping pong, pool, bar and huge sitting area!! Outside we had the pool, hot tub and dont forget the sauna! Almost every night we had a bonfire in the firepit. The kitchen was a big enough with plenty of storage for groceries. Plenty of pool towels. We had some minor issues but Alex handled everything quickly when I contacted him. The house is located in a great spot, close to stores and restaurants. The main street in Stroudsburg is a must see. Great restaurants and some lovely store owners!! So much to do, Bushkills Falls, Columcille Park, Delaware Water Gap, Go Karts, mini golf, paintball. Or you can just stay and enjoy all the amenities at the house! My family loved it!

Disappointed beyond belief!

House, pool and hot tub dirty. Many windows throughout with blinds or curtains. Mouse droppings on cooking surfaces. Several mechanical issues (broken AC) as well as structural problems (roof leaking, mold from roof leak). Property outside not maintained (grass overgrown, arrived to overflowing garbage cans, broken toys and cigarettes left around pool deck, large screws sticking up out of pool area where diving board was removed). Several broken kitchen chairs. Property manager did not take complaints seriously.

Vacation Home

Property management company was very good about responding to a few issues. The house could have been cleaner. Previous tenants' crumbs on kitchen floor. The day we checked in I went to wipe up a spill and the cloth came up black. Very stingy with the bathroom towels. Plenty of pool towels available. Mold growing in finished basement by the treadmill. Carpeting on stairs was ripped and very poorly attached to stairs. One of the 3-year-olds was cut on the back of his leg. The carpet was replaced the next day at 8 pm which was unacceptable as we had two 3 yr. olds in bed. As for the outside there were a few broken chaise lounges still sitting by pool with a few brand-new ones not yet put together in the garage.

Nice place, needs a bit of attention

We had a nice family gathering in this spacious house. Particularly nice was the huge dining room table with seating for 16. A number of issues with the house were encountered and attention to these would improve the experience. The pool pump developed a leak, causing the heater to shut off midweek when the water level fell to a certain point. Not sure if that could have been anticipated. One toilet was leaking when flushed, reported the day after check-in, and it was not repaired during our stay. A leak was discovered under a bath vanity that was reported during check-out. The fire extinguisher in the kitchen was empty. There was no crock pot in the kitchen – thankfully we had brought one of our own. Two window air conditions had significant gaps around the units that could let bugs or critters enter the room if left that way. These items were reported to the host at check-out who indicated they would all be fixed ASAP. If they are addressed, the stay would be even better.

Poorly managed property

Hey, we are about to check out. The house is cold again. I strongly suggest before your next guests arrive that you get your HVAC issue permanently resolved. This house is uninhabitable. When we arrived, the house was absolutely freezing. It seemed like the heat was off for days. We put on all the thermostats. The house didn’t get very cold and we figured it was because the house was very big. The heat seemed to come on for a few hours and then stopped. First night, we had no heat. We all had to stay in the same room and slept in our hoodies in one room. We barely slept as we were in 56 degree weather. Completely uninhabitable and would have been dangerous if we had young children. The next day, we couldn’t shower until late afternoon because the air was so cold. I spent many hours of my Saturday troubleshooting with either yourself or the HVAC guy. He came and fixed it and said the reason it wasn’t working is because a maintenance/cleaning wasn’t done that was needed. I had to learn HVAC repair for the first time in my life to ensure my friends and family didn’t freeze. I had to manually fix multiple times after he left, each effort was short lived. We woke up the next day, thermostat was at 62. Nobody wanted to wake me up to fix it. But most guests complained that the house was extremely uncomfortable and were sleeping in hoodies. The house was very nice but definitely had its quirks! The beds were a bit stiff and the bunk beds were a bit unstable! Otherwise it was a lovely stay and we would come again! We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and the amount of space we had!

This property seems to have it all - tons of space/beds, pool, hot tub, game room, exercise equipment. However, once there, we noticed a lot of issues with this property. It is poorly maintained with a lot of concerning issues, especially for families with young children. Missing towel racks, mouse droppings in different parts of the home, smoke detectors that did not work, exposed nails in door frames, holes in the walls and floor, exposed wires and outlets. The pictures do not show the true condition of the home and show amenities that are not available upon arrival (no weight machine or treadmill). This property has a lot of potential, but it is certainly not up to “luxury” standards as the listing suggests.
