The Dockside Delight beach house in Rockport is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on stilts, waterfront on a canal.

It’s a great place to come enjoy Rockport whether you are fishing or just coming to enjoy the beach. The recently remodeled beach house includes a large upstairs deck that overlooks the canals and Salt Lake in the distance. You can even fish from the dock! The house features 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and one with twin bunk beds. The open living room and kitchen are nice to be able to relax and visit in an open setting. The kitchen is fully stocked for being able to cook at the house, if you desire.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed this home on the water. The home was really clean and had all of the amenities that we needed for our stay, which was near our family. Communication was great and our stay was incredible. We look forward to booking this home again in the future.

Exactly What We Were Looking For

The house was super clean and relaxing. We were in town for a charity golf tournament and needed a place to stay for a few days. This was a perfect choice for us. If we ever need a place to stay in Rockport, we will look here first!

We’ll be back!

This place was just perfect for our family! The kids loved it and we’re already planning a return trip. Everything we needed and the location wasn’t too far from the beach or any shopping we needed to do. I was even able to get Walmart delivered to the address. Dock was a fun bonus…didn’t catch anything but a single crab but it was fun to watch all the fish jumping around!

Beautifully remodeled home

Very nice and extremely clean. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Great attention to detail. Loved having access to a downstairs restroom. Very handy when coming back from fishing and/or beach. The canal was low when we stayed there so didn’t have good fishing at the house. Nearest fishing spot at Fulton’s, is about 13 mins away. Fulton’s is a nice spot with lots of free fishing areas and good nearby restaurants. Heard that there is a park behind the airport to try some fishing, but we didn’t get a chance to try it out. Maybe next time.

Last minute perfection

Summer went by so quick this year and we realized just before school is about to start we hadn’t taken a family vacation! My boys love to fish and be near the water! This place is absolutely perfect ! We caught fish off of the dock and my youngest caught a crab! Jason was great from beginning to end !!! My son even left his IPad and we realized about halfway home and I messaged Jason and he was prompt to ask his staff to locate it and have it shipped to us immediately! We loved the place and even discussed purchasing our own place in RockPort someday !

Awesome spot well stocked

Very cool place. Comfortable beds, great amenities and everything you need sans BBQ pit. Everything in this house was spotless and felt new. The bathroom and storage area downstairs was really handy. The canal out back kept us busy at night catching a bunch of small drum. Literally the only thing I would change is adding a BBQ pit.

Fabulous place!

We had a fabulous stay at this property! Everything was super easy, Jason was so easy to communicate with and answered all my questions fully and in a timely manner. This was our first stay in a VRBO so I had some beginner questions. We had originally booked for only 5 days, but decided to extend our stay to 8 days. Jason was wonderful about this and didn't have a problem with it! Our 2 children thoroughly enjoyed the house, the AC was cold which is a big deal when you've spent all day on the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and made cooking at the house easy. The only negative I have to say about this property has nothing to do with the house itself but the area it's in. The roads getting to it are atrocious (most south Texas roads are though). The neighbors on one side are fabulous, but the other side is a rentable vacation house and had a very large loud family there for half of our stay. It kind of killed the chilling on the outdoor deck part, but once they left we enjoyed sitting on the deck well into the night. Overall a fabulous party and we would definitely stay here again!

Spring break getaway

Property was as advertised. Clean and quiet place right on a canal. A couple strokes and you are in the salt lakes. Jason responded to messages very quickly. Wish he could of budged a little on adding an additional person, but he was very responsive and explained why he couldn't. I would recommend only if you have 6 or less and don't expect any surprises.
