Perfect hang out spot

This riverside getaway was a perfect backdrop for my engagement party! We had some friends over and there was plenty to do! The neighborhood is quieter, so keep that in mind when booking. There are some pretty dramatic stairs, so be aware of that from an accessibility standpoint, but we didn’t have any issues. We loved our stay, and Christian was so communicative. We may have to come back at some point.

The Sweet Retreat is SWEEEET!

We absolutely just loved this place. It was easy to find. I really liked the decor. My husband loved that the air conditioning was so cool and they had a recliner!! The place was super clean and we really enjoyed the deck area and dock too. Overall, it was a great stay. We hope to come back soon for a longer stay

5 Stars - Perfect Family Getaway on the River!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful riverfront property! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this home was designed with relaxation and family fun in mind. The location is peaceful and scenic, with the river literally in the backyard. We especially loved the complimentary kayaks—paddling along the calm water was a highlight for both the adults and the kids.Inside, the home was spotless, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The game selection was fantastic, with board games and outdoor activities that kept everyone entertained. The fire pit was the perfect place to wind down in the evening—roasting marshmallows under thebeautiful night sky. It’s rare to find a place that truly works for all ages, but this one hit the mark. Whether you’re looking for adventure on the water or just quality time with your loved ones, this VRBO is a gem. We’re already planning our return trip!

Good stay lots of fun.

We enjoyed our stay but the bathroom in the hall way upstairs had no hot water. The shower downstairs was to small. We couldn't even watch tv for the internet kept freezing up.

Thank you for your response. The hall bathroom has a different faucet mechinsm than most. I assure to you that it had hot water. If you would have reached out to me I could have come over and showed you how to turn on the hot water. Also, The shower downstairs is more for cleaning up after being on the river. The wifi will not work when it is moved from its home dock... the wifi box was moved from its intended location. In which case I could have also cleared this up had I been notified that there were issues. I strive to give 5 star service at every opportunity that I am given.

Came up short on expectation

Overall the location and property is Beautiul. I would love to own this property LOL. Nice location on the water, house is not huge but is more than adequate for a couples retreat. The bed was comfortable and kitchen was nice. The bad parts, the dishwasher leaked, the fridge while cold started leaking too. The upstairs shower in master shower head needs to be replaced or cleaned and its way to low. Im only 5'11. I went to the guest bathroom to shower and the water never got hot. Warm but not hot. The outside porch had way too many spider webs for .our liking so we spent a lot of time cleaning so we felt ok sitting. The wifi is almost non existent vut it was a getaway weekend for us. It would have been nice to see tv at night when the bugs came back out but Overall, the location of the cabin made it bearable. I would rent again if some items were taken care of. Hopefully they will adress the cleaning outside before rental and replace the dishwasher. I washed by hand after that to prevent any water damage.

Fun time!

It was real fun to hang and relax. There was a small issue but the owner was real quick to answer and solve the problem! We would love to go back and chill.

We enjoyed our time on the River. The owner was very responsive any time we had a question. Loved having the dock right on the River for our boat, jet ski, kayaks & paddle board!

Perfect weekend getaway!

The house was set up perfectly for our stay and it was just feet from the water. The back porch provided a wonderful space to unwind from being on the water all day. Would definitely go back, the owner is super-helpful and always there to answer any questions I had.
