VEUILLEZ NOUS CONSIDÉRER PENDANT QUELQUES SEMAINES APRÈS CETTE DATE, NOUS SERONS ENTIÈREMENT MIS À JOUR ET POUR UN MEILLEUR QUE JAMAIS! Abordable, bien entretenu, en bord de mer, 5 chambres, 4 salles de bain duplex avec piscine privĂ©e. Les lits sont K, Q, Q, Q, D, T. SĂ©jours Ă  la semaine (samediSat.) Mai Ă  Octobre. SĂ©jour minimum de 2 nuits hors saison. Tous les draps et serviettes de bain inclus avec seulement les locations hebdomadaires.

Stayed Sept 6-13. We had a wonderful time. Property was great. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Had a little confusion with property management picking up key and a slight issue when we arrived at the house, but the host was very accommodating and fixed the issue immediately. The house was perfect and the host was very easy to work with. Would definitely stay there again.

This property was very well maintained and stocked. Clean. Communication was wonderful. Pool was smaller, but the perfect size for cooling off and for all 5 of the young children in our family to play in. LOVED our stay.

40th anniversary celebration

What a beautiful beach home. If I had a house this lovely, I would not be sharing it. :) Gorgeous granite in each updated bathroom and especially the kitchen. Plenty of seating for home cooked meals. Also appreciated the bathtub for kids. We enjoyed the pool and porch swing. I especially want to mention that we had a three year old along and there is an alarm of sorts when the back door is opened that alerts you. It’s a chime that you can hear throughout the house which was a huge relief to my grandmother heart. Huge washing machine and dryer. The labeling is impressive and it’s fully stocked even down to birthday candles. We aren’t sure if we ruined a floatie so we left a new one. We had the best time. Thank you for having us.

Bliss

Our third year at Great Expectations East, and we have already booked our fourth return next year. We love everything about this house, pool and location. Beautiful decor, comfortable seating and beds, always impeccably clean, well stocked with anything we’ve ever needed. Three out of five bedrooms have their own oceanfront access to deck and the bathrooms are updated, most with tiled/glass walk in showers. It’s close to good restaurants, shopping and local attractions, and it’s sitting on the best beach in North Carolina.

Family Time at the Beach

The property is in a great location with direct easy access to a beautiful uncrowded beach. The private pool is small but adequate. The house is comfortable and well equipped to accomodate my large family.

Wow, what a great family vacation!

My family had a great stay here! The beach was beautiful, and the pool was an added benefit! The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The layout was perfect for multiple groups. The shops and restaurants were a little far from the house, so I would suggest renting bicycles. Overall, it was an awesome trip - would definitely go back to this house!

Amazing House

We have stayed at a lot of beach houses over the years and this one is our absolute favorite. The house is set up perfectly for a large group and very well stocked. Our kiddos loved the pool, actually we all did.

Stunning!

This was an amazing house for our extended family vacation!! Excellent communication with the owners prior to our stay; they promptly answered all questions regarding the property. Comfortable furnishings, a well stocked kitchen, plenty of bath towels (a few more kitchen towels would have been nice to have on hand), and the view/location on the beach... perfect! We had a wonderful time!! Hope to return in the future!!

Amazing

This house is such a great find. The pool was fantastic and the access to the beach was so close. Everything you could need was there and linens and towels were in great shape. Beds were soft. The whole vibe of the house and location was relaxing. It was perfect for our group of six. The downstairs area was fine for us, bit it may get crowded with more people. We were far enough from the pier that we felt a little safer in the water, but close enough to go to the pier to fish. Aquarium is so close and a short drive to Beaufort. Close to Publix and Food Lion. We will consider booking here again in the future!

AMAZING

The house was beautiful, well stocked, clean, fantastic location, pool was great. Pool light didn’t work, contacted owner and they got back to me immediately with a response. Owner was VERY nice and extremely responsive to any questions we had. Not sure if it is in the discrimination, the grill is charcoal not gas. There was charcoal available when we got there. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Never Again

First the lock on the door. Need’s to be replaced and management knew it before we got there. The deck needs to be replaced around the pool. The rest of the deck needs replaced also. Nail heads sticking out from about 1/16’- 1/8” everywhere on the deck. Weeds growing up through the deck. The bedroom with the Queen size bed did not have screws on one of the bed rails. No ice maker in refrigerator or garbage disposal in sink. Terrible waste of our money. No drapes in the King sized bedroom on the second floor. When the neighbors turned on porolights at night it lights up the room, also the ceiling fan ticks. Never Again. Shame on you for charging so much for such a depleted property.

Family/Anniversary vacation

The home was perfect for our family beach vacation! The pool was especially a treat, clean and the right size for us from Grandpa to our 6 year old grandson! We were especially pleased with how clean everything was and loved the equipped kitchen! We would love to return sometime! The owners were great with communication too!

Perfect in every way

We’ve been coming to Emerald Isle 1-2x year for 10 years now, and this, by far is our favorite beach house. Lovely decor, comfortable seating and beds. This was our second stay here, and it was as spotlessly clean and well appointed as ever. We love that there are three oceanfront bedrooms with walk out decks and quality rockers/seating. Also love that we don’t have to carry groceries to the top floor. Great views of the beach, just steps away. Everyone loves the pool. Already booked our third return. This beach house is pure bliss!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We both enjoyed the NC coast and Emerald Isle as children. An opportunity arose when we had 1 young daughter and twins on the way, and we took a leap of faith and jumped at the chance to own a place here. That was 28 years ago and what a blessing this house has been. We look forward to our grandchildren enjoying it one day as much as our girls have.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We love waking up to the sound of waves breaking, having a cup of coffee outside on one of the decks, and heading out for a morning walk or bike ride.

One thing that makes this house special is its suitability for all ages, making it a perfect spot for several generations of family. There is both a bedroom and full bath on the first floor, which is perfect for grandparents; and a porch swing with a perfect view to the ocean if they find it difficult going up and down to the beach. Kids of course enjoy the pool (with a chest full of beach and pool toys) and their own space in the loft. If anyone needs some quiet time, the other 4 bedrooms are spacious and quiet. The second floor deck has 4 new rockers, providing a nice place to hide and read a great book.

There are plenty of entertainment options to keep you busy if you choose, but not too many. Some of the things we most enjoy doing are: obviously enjoying the beach and pool, playing tennis at the town park, visiting historic Swansboro for lunch and shopping one day, going to a movie at Emerald Plantation, and of course biking.

Emerald Isle has completed bike paths that run the entire length of Emerald Drive, as well as the entire length of Coast Guard Road, which is down to "the point". We always use Beach Wheels Bike Rentals at 252-240 BIKE (2453). They deliver bikes of all shapes and sizes straight to the house and pick them up when you are done. You can rent daily, for 3 days, or for the week.
