Walk to Beach , Bright and Clean

This Cape Cod retreat within walking distance to the beach has vaulted ceilings, modern ammenities and a fenced in backyard. A short stroll will bring you to the neighborhood beach where you can take in the ocean views and swim in the calm waters of Lewis Bay. Calm waters are great for paddle boarding as well as kayaking. The Island ferries are close by making trip to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket a breeze. The living area and kitchen have an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. There is a loft with two twin beds as well as two bedrooms on the lower level. Furnishings and decor provide a coastal feel. Lots of board games on hand for family fun. The kitchen is fully stocked and a gas grill sits on the deck for easy access from the kitchen. There is a large private outdoor shower located on the deck. An extra-large capacity washer and dryer will help with your laundry needs. Central air conditioning throughout the home as well as ceiling fans in the main living area. A fire pit is provided and the shed is loaded with beach gear ( beach chairs, umbrellas , coolers, beach toys , beach wagon and blankets ). Bikes may be stored in the shed. The quiet residential neighborhood is located close to Main Street in Hyannis which is lined with great restaurants and shops. Miniature golf and ice cream are a short walk from the home as well as a yummy coffee shop that serves breakfast and lunch. All linens, toiletries and paper products and much more are provided. The home is well stocked allowing vacationers to pack lightly. Great memories await you at Baxter Beach House.:)

Perfect spot for the family

The house was perfect for our family of 4 and came with everything we needed for the beach, playing in the backyard, and playing inside too. Perfect location to get to activities around the cape and enjoy the local beach at the end of the road. Judi was a great host and very easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great stay

The house is as described and is very nicely decorated and has everything you need. Street is fairly quiet and we loved that there was an ice cream shop at the end of the street. Judi was very good at communicating and she even let us know that the house was ready a little early, which was awesome as we were already in the area. The circular driveway was very convenient for visibility purposes. Overall, great stay!

A Beach House With Everything You Could Need

It was so wonderful arriving to a home that had a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, and lots of beach towels and toys, games for kids, books to read, and more. We also loved the private backyard where we could relax and sip our morning coffee. The host was exceptional, making sure we had everything we needed and being in contact for all things big and small.

Delightful week on the Cape!

Cozy, comfortable and convenient. Walk to the local beach, coffee shop and miniature golf. Great location to head off on longer adventures. Judi the host did a fantastic job communicating and quickly helped us with a minor repair at the property. Super responsive. We had a wonderful week and were sad when it was time to leave - felt right at home.

Hidden gem in Cape Cod!

My family and I have had an amazing stay! The property manager stayed in touch with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The property was very well appointed, it was comfortable, and located in the middle of Cape Cod. Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket are easily accessible by boat from Hyannis (a few minutes drive from the house to the dock), while Provincetown, Truro, or Nauset Beach are a relatively short drive away. The backyard is great for relaxing, or sipping a glass of wine around a fire pit. Will definitely come back!

Perfect Location

My family and I really enjoyed our home for the week! The outdoor shower and all the beach goodies in the shed were a huge bonus. Communication was excellent and the extras that the owner provided our family was above and beyond. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it completely!
