Very pleased with the charm of the home. Had everything we needed and very clean. Location was perfect, close enough to town. Would highly recommend the place to future guests .

Every morning and night we were greeted by a mother deer and her fawn. It was precious. The stay was very relaxing. The scenery was amazing. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Cape Porpoise Location

We had a wonderful time at this property, right on the shores of Cape Porpoise. The sunrises were amazing, and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the picturesque village. It was the perfect place for a family getaway!

Perfect spot in Cape Porpoise

This lovely home on the water was perfect for our family. It was roomy, comfortable, and within walking distance to great restaurants and the local grocery store. Highly recommend. We so enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this house ! Lots of room both inside and out ! The house is clean comfortable and a true pleasure to be in for a vacation !! Lots of supplies and extras like cleaning supplies, blankets, dishes, and kitchen items!always wish we could stay longer! Long Weekend Family Wedding

In town for a family wedding, this worked perfectly for us, adult grown children and elderly father. Very spacious downstairs, and bedrooms worked for our group. Would definitely rent again if back in the area.

Beautiful Home

We absolutely loved staying in this home. It was very clean and ready for us upon arrival. The home has a wonderful view from the front windows on a quiet, dead-end street. It was perfectly located in Cape Porpoise a few miles from Kennebunkport, lobster shacks and the best beaches. We hope to be back soon!

Great location

We had a wonderful time staying at the house. We were able to visit so many great towns in Maine and experience a lot of what Maine has to offer. When we were not out, exploring, we were back at the house which was off the beaten path for quiet and privacy. The house had everything we needed. The house is located on the harbor, and it was interesting to watch the tides go in and out We could walk into town, which was a plus. Our host were very friendly and responsive.

Historic home on the pier

We had a wonderful week. The home was very clean, and nicely maintained, in a way that maintains its historic charm, but provides the comforts of modern day life. Much of the furniture seemed brand new. The views were beautiful, especially the sunrise from the master bedroom. Joan and Phil are so welcoming, friendly and genuine. Great location with easy driving access to town and beach.

Peaceful Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! A lovely older house with an incredible water view. The patio table out on the lawn overlooking the inlet was our favorite. A small fresh seafood stand is within walking distance and downtown Kennebunkport is a short drive away. It was extremely hot when we stayed and the air conditioners did well keeping up as the house gets a lot of sunlight.I would have loved a later check out however. I find 10am with little kids is tough and it would be ideal to not have to rush out the door. However, we wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Thank you Joan for letting us stay with you!
