4-season retreat in Mount Holly, VT is a peaceful 11+ acre oasis surrounded by breathtaking mountain and water views in the heart of ski-country (8-min drive to Okemo Resort, 1 mile walk to Lake Nineveh). Finished game room with wet bar & walkout to 6-8 person hot tub. Furnished wrap-around porch, wood-burning stove, retro-cabin fridge & 9ft kitchen island. Access to VAST, ATV & hiking trails directly from the grounds. A dream location to ski, golf, bird-watch, fish, kayak, hike & more.

The space
The home features 5 bedrooms plus a loft w/queen bed. The kitchen and family room are open concept. Walk in mudroom/laundry room, large finished basement with pool table, bar flat screen tv and room to stretch out. Plenty of parking for large group. Large, furnished wrap around deck. Barn is off limits to renters, however 1 bedroom/bathroom apartment over barn can be rented for additional fee.

Beautiful Vermont getaway

We loved our stay in Mount Holly! The property is gorgeous and is so close to many beautiful outdoor activities. It’s a great location for little day trips as well. The home is supplied with linens and some simple essentials which was wonderful and very helpful! Would stay here again!

Awesome Vacation

Our stay in Mount Holly was awesome. The house is great with amazing views. Close enough to multiple mountain resort areas for activities and Lake Nineveh is great for kayak/SUP. Pool table, hot tub, volleyball, cornhole, and other games at the house kept both adults and kids entertained at night. Kerry was very responsive as the owner and the checkin/checkout process was very easy. Would definitely stay here again!

This house is everything you want when you stay in Vermont...

Everything about our stay at this house exceeded our expectations. In the time leading up to the booking, the owner (Kerry) was in communication with us every step of the way. Offering suggestions on where and what to do, randomly checking in to see if we needed anything and really just making sure we were all set for the vacation in general. We have done several rentals through various booking sites, and Kerry was by far to easiest to communicate with and really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. During the stay communications remained top tier. There was even one small issue with a smoke detector, she immediately had the Electrician at the house to address the issue to ensure our stay was uninterrupted. During the stay the house and property once again exceeded expectations. We had at any given time three families (12 people) and never felt cramped or like we didn't have enough room. The house with all levels is very large and the layout accommodates large groups well. As far as cleanliness the house was spotless and you can tell that the owners take cleanliness very seriously. The yard and property were very well maintained, we spent every night out at the firepit and enjoyed the secluded feeling you get on the 11+ acres of property. The view from the back yard is fantastic as you feel you're right in the mountains themselves with no one around you. The town of Ludlow is roughly 10 minutes away, this is where the local grocery store is and all the restaurants/shops. Every place we went the people were friendly and enjoyed having "tourists" there. Favorite restaurants were Harry's and Off The Rails, most of the places take reservations as well which is nice for larger groups. Kerry sends out and has a book onsite of everything to do and where to go and we were able to knock out most of it. The book is spot on and was used everyday. I could keep talking about this house and all the benefits of it for pages here, but ultimately its better than it looks and you wont be disappointed. It gets 5 stars on multiple sites for a reason and having stayed in several of these bookings over the years, this ranks at the top. We plan to come back in the future and continue to enjoy this house/property for years to come.

Great VRBO!

Property was even nicer than pictures captured in listing! Had a fabulous time with plenty of room for everyone in our group of 9. Main floor bedroom worked perfectly for my elderly parents. Hot tub was wonderful. Couldn't get the wood burning stove to fully light, gave up after a significant effort and following directions closely. Kitchen is wonderfully stocked, all brand new. Views are beautiful during the fall. Very private and quiet location yet close to drive into Ludlow for restaurants/shopping and lots of hiking nearby. Definitely recommend!

There is something magical about our spot. The property is an oasis of beauty, from the frog and turtles that inhabit our ponds, to the beautiful birds that sing in our trees, and that goes without mentioning the gorgeous mountain views. Nothing beats a cup of coffee on the wrap around porch as the sun rises, or soaking in the hot tub while staring at the sunset sky above the mountains. It truly is a special, private retreat.

Our house is the perfect spot to reunite with family - especially after being away from loved ones this past year! There is plenty of room to spread out, and the lower level offers a wet bar, pool table, flat screen tv, card table and lots of couch space for relaxing.
