Come relax and enjoy the breathtaking lake and mountain views at our 1 bed 1 bath condo on Smith Mountain Lake!

The condo is located at Bernard's Landing, a premier waterfront resort. Come experience lake life on the 70-acre resort that offers lush green spaces, panoramic views of the lake and year-round activities for the entire family. The amenities at Bernard's are endless! They include:
- 2 Outdoor Pools- the main clubhouse pool has a hot tub and children's wade pool &
play area
- Year Round Indoor Pool and Jacuzzi
- Beach which is directly in front of our unit!
- Gym & sauna
- Boat launch & courtesy docks are available
- Tennis Courts (3), Pickleball Courts (4), Racquetball Court, Poolside Basketball
Court, Beach Volleyball Court, Horseshoes and Cornhole
- Walkable restaurant on site: Napoli by the Lake
- Bernard’s Boat Rental on site
- Play All Day Watersports offers kayak and paddleboard rentals

Our ground level condo is newly renovated and ready for you to enjoy! A ground floor unit is a premium that you never knew you wanted in a rental. It's a quick walk right off the back deck to the beach, dock, clubhouse pools, or on-site restaurant.

The large bedroom has a king sized bed with linens (which is rare for rentals in the area!). There is also a desk in the bedroom if you are looking to move your home office to a new location for awhile! Although it may be pretty hard to get work done with the lake views calling your name!

The bathroom has been updated and has a walk-in tiled shower. Towels are also provided (which again is a rare find)!

The kitchen is updated with new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. It is fully stocked just like yours at home! A microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and blender are a few other appliances offered. New pots and pans, dishware, glassware and barware are all provided. Just off the kitchen is a brand new washer/dryer stack unit.

The new living room sofa has a pull-out queen memory foam mattress. The 48inch TV has cable set up for you to relax at night.

A new 4 burner grill is on the back deck. Sit back and enjoy the views on the new Adirondack chairs!

What a great place to disconnect from lifes stresses. Had a few kinks,but property owner was very gracious and responded immediately. Great views, kitchen was well supplied, super nice shower,comfortable bed. Cant give enough stars. Big plus. Was socializing with local people. Everybody we met was beyond pleasant.

Quaint, cozy and great view

The unit was the size we expected for myself and my husband. The kitchen had a Keurig with coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator with ice maker (bonus) and electric oven all in perfect working order. Missing corn cob holders. There were four place settings which required repeated washing, we ended up getting paper plates. (who likes to do dishes on vacation or running a small DW load, lol) The beach area was great and we appreciated the beach chairs and water equipment. Only issue we had was the corners of the fitted sheets kept coming off the bed and we would get tangled at night. I suggest deep fitted sheets. Also a portable fan would be nice. It was a bit muggy in the bedroom during the summer storms at night. But we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again. Pirate Days were the BEST!

It was so peaceful with amazing views!!We enjoyed watching the deer stroll across the lawn in the evenings and the chipmunks scamper around chasing each other! The full moon rising over the mountain was spectacular! The accommodations were very comfortable. We definitely recharged our batteries!

This is the perfect condo for a couple. It has beautiful views of Smith Mountain Lake. It is on a hillside so be prepared for a walk if you want to access the water. The beach and boat docks were at the bottom of the hill. There are no nearby so be sure to get any needed supplies on the way in.

Quiet and Comfortable Getaway

We have been coming to Bernards Landing for years and this is our first time on Hillside and it was excellent. Condo was cozy, clean and well stocked. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay! House had a little bit of a musty smell but appeared to be very clean. Very dark inside the bedroom area, but overall a nice place to be.

Anniversary Getaway

We loved our stay at the condo. It was very clean, comfortable, and the view was amazing. The local restaurants were so good and the town is quaint and the people were so friendly. This was our first time to SML and we give it 5 stars. It was just what we needed for it 25th Anniversary getaway.
