Just what we needed

Condo was clean & more updated than pictures. Quiet location near pier which is closed for repair.3rd floor for great views & short walk to the beach.

Great trip

The property was clean and well maintained. There was plenty of room for my Wife and 2 kids. Even though we were on the third floor the ability to leave our beach cart next to the bike rack and security guard made life easier. There was plenty of parking and the kids loved to visit the pool when they got tired of the beach. This is our second time renting the condo and plan to again and again.

Beautiful Cherry Grove

Loved the condo. Even though the property does not have an elevator, which I knew ahead of time. Only complaint was the pier is still not open. I didn't think to ask. We were hoping to fish off it. Main reason for staying at Sea Cabins.

Property unavailable

I was not able to stay at this property. The day I booked, Friday 5/23, I was told by the host that the property had sustained water damage and was no longer available. I asked for a refund of the charges that day and was told I would see a refund within 48 hours. 96 hours later I called customer service again and was told the refund had not been issued and would be available to me within 5-7 business days. To charge someone for a service that you cannot deliver and then withhold the payment for that service for 2 weeks is not acceptable.

Very clean condo. Awesome cleaning staff!! Poor communication from owner. I did not receive ANY check in information and when I called the owner the 2nd time. Did not answer the first time. He laughed and asked if I was sure I was in north Myrtle beach. Very rude and unhelpful very poor conduct for an owner that does not communicate with the renters. I did not know my building number or the condo number. It was unkind to say the least. It is NOT in the description that this is a 3 flight walk up. Another communication problem. It is NOT in the description where the pool is located. It is NOT posted where all dumpsters are located. WiFi password is posted on the TV but yet again poor communication. Wrong password and that needs to be updated. The lock in the front door works at times I don’t know if it needs a new battery or a new lock but it’s not reliable. There are no instructions anywhere when leaving the property. I had no idea where the dirty laundry should go or any other check out instructions. Beautiful location of condo and nice view from the balcony. Kitchen is stocked. Nice coffee pot. All appliances worked well. Comfortable living room furniture. Both beds were old and needed new mattresses. Slept bad but it was a short stay.

Location Fantastic with Poor Communication

The location of the unit was nice as it’s in a great neighborhood of North Myrtle. The unit was clean and had a great view of the ocean from the porch. The interior could use some updating, especially in the restrooms but served the purpose and was clean The communication was poor. We had to call VRBO the day of the check in as we hadn’t received our instructions on how to access the condo from the host. Once connected with VRBO reps we were told they would call us back if disconnected. After the initial VRBO rep unsuccessfully attempted to contact the host, I was transferred to a “Supervisor “ that offered a hotel in exchange for the condo or a 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom condo when we booked 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. I was then disconnected and did not receive a call back. After 10/15 minutes of waiting (while on the golf course trying to enjoy the start of our vacation), I called the VRBO line again. This time a different rep was able to contact the host 1 hour prior to scheduled check in. Once everything was ironed out, the condo and location very much met our needs. We just wished it wasn’t a stressful check in process.

A GREAT TRIP FOR FAMILY

My daughter and granddaughter had a wonderful time at this property. Easy beach access was the best thing about the property. Everything necessary was provided for the stay. Check-in was easy. The pool is located across the street, and was crowded, so family preferred to spend their time on the beach. We would rent here again.

Lazy Days

Perfect location for relaxing and enjoying a less crowded beach location. Easy access to beach and condo is great for a small family. This is our third visit and I seriously doubt we will consider any other place as long as this property is available.
