Welcome! A newly updated duplex unit (B) near Bethany Beach may be perfect for you and your friends and/or family! The duplex is about 1 mile from the Bethany Beach boardwalk and located in Turtle Walk community. On the Bethany Trolley route, flag it down at the driveway!

Please bring your own towels!!!



Notice Walkable dining/services include Grotto Pizza, Bethany Diner, and WaWa.

The duplex includes 4 bedrooms (1 on the main level and 3 on the 2nd floor). Sleeps 8 G
1 King, 2 Queen, 2 Twin Beds. 1 sleeper sofa(extra charge and bring own linens)

Great stay for our family. Owner communicated well and even brought over a brand new blender when we couldn’t find one. Would stay again!

Great stay close to Bethany Beach, safe neighborhood, on the 25 cent per person trolley line.

Great stay close to Bethany Beach, safe neighborhood, east access to the 25 cent per person trolley line. My family and I stayed a week at the property, everything was great, recently renovated, good deal compared to other hotels and rentals in area.

Summer vacation in Bethany Beach

Overall, the property was nice. I was a little put off by the lack of instructions at the property about the following: garbage pick-up day, what to do at the end of the stay, how to use the tv, channel listing. We also had ants in the house which was a nuisance. We had to go out and purchase ant traps. The downstairs bedroom had vertical slatted shades on the patio doors in which there were 4 or 5 missing slats, so there was no privacy for changing clothes. Some of the furnishings were older and mismatched. On the plus side the property had plenty of room both inside and outside for parking. It was close to everything that we needed. It was on the trolley stop which was convenient for going downtown without having to park. In closing, I would probably rent it again and recommend it to friends.

Not at all what it seemed

We were so excited about our family vacation because of the description and location. Upon arrival it was nothing but trouble. My confirmation was for the other unit and the entry code didn’t work. I wish I could say that was all, but the entire unit was filthy. Food on the floor and in the trash cans, ants, dirty surfaces and dirty kitchen. The shower curtain liner has mold on it. We had to clean the entire unit ourselves because there was no other place to stay. And we tried to find other accommodations. It’s a good thing we had our own cleaning supplies because there weren’t even cleaning supplies in the apartment. It took 5 adults over 2 hours to get this place even reasonable. Not an appropriate way to start a family vacation. So very disappointing.

You had claimed you travel the world and so you wouldn’t want to pay my cleaning lady for $195 fee? I did came the next day and confirmed with guests next door unit that my cleaning were there cleaning your unit. Food on the floor you were saying is ONE chip in a quarter size of the penny! ( the pictures you sent me) . It may not the best cleaning job the lady did but She did offer to come back the same night at 10 pm Saturday night and she did rearranged her entire Sunday schedule to be there for your personal cleaning appointment at NO charge. You cancelled the appointment. Yet You claimed you spent 5 hours clean your unit so you would stayed up until 3 am in the morning with your OWN cleaning supplies after a long way to get to my unit? In addition You demanded us to the refund you $446 guests service fee in which we did not even collected.

Recommendations:

This was a last minute rental as our first one fell through late in the season. Nice place, spacious, clean, close to the beach. The furniture in the bed rooms could have been rearranged differently to accommodate space. The kitchen could have had more , cook/ bake ware, pots pans utensils, spatulas etc. The outside shower wasn’t working . Overall everything else was great!

Good family accommodations and good location!

4 beds and 3 baths made living easy! The kitchen had most of the necessities, no pot large enough for making pasta. Had to buy a dustpan and doormats to keep from tracking mud in house. Only one towel for baths, so bring your own. All new appliances in kitchen and washer dryer. Close to Italian deli , WaWa, church , Off the Hook and DeFebo’s Restaurants (both very good)and Bethany boardwalk one mile away. All in all a comfortable stay.

Perfect for 2 families

Located in a quiet neighborhood and right near the Bethany Beach trolley stop. Clean property that had plenty of space for 2 families of 4. Linens were provided. There was only 1 key, so it would've been nice to have another. However, the lockbox made it easily accessible. We wish there would've been a curtain or blinds in the main living area covering the sliding door for privacy sake. There was plenty of place to park. The owner was quick to respond to questions. In the future, it would be nice to have more information provided on the listing. Overall, a good stay for our first trip to Bethany!

Reviews are everything

Property was nice - clearly in the midst of renovation, and when completed surely will be a very nice unit in a very nice location. Unit is part of a duplex with shared WIFI service. We did not have WIFI service the entire stay. Things happen I get it...the follow-up was what I felt was mishandled (owner asked me to call WIFI provider, owner could not direct me to where the WIFI extender was, and relied on contacting me via VRBO app which I could not access without WIFI!) Unit has a Smart TV reliant on streaming apps...so yeah no TV either. I took a chance renting the unit when what looked like to me a new listing with no reviews; I learned my lesson will always wait for a review. The trip was a getaway after death in family, not the host experience we were looking for.
