Spacious rental for 6 in lovely home with gorgeous views, minutes from resort

Rental includes top two floors of house. Rental space has its own entrance, parking space, and three balconies. Master suite contains king bed, private bathroom and tub, balcony. Second bedroom has two twin beds, and third bedroom has twin bunk beds. Plenty of space for six people, including full kitchen with range, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and open dining room and living room. BBQ grill on the big balcony.
(Guests can fill propane tank at Mercantile just minutes away or at gas station; propane is not included.)

Gorgeous views of the mountains and adjacent to Girdwood park land for the feeling that you are nestled in the woods, yet plenty of southern exposure including the entire front balcony. Just a few minutes drive from ski resort.

This home sits on the end of a residential street. A long-term tenant occupies the ground floor apartment and uses the parking space on the left as you pull up to the house. Tenant has separate entrance and completely separate living area.

If you are looking for nice accommodations in a beautiful location this place is perfect for your family or friends to gather. Please note, although the apartment is spacious, the limit is six guests (children under 2 yrs. old in addition to the six guests are welcome). The home is not new construction, and although we have done some remodeling everything is not brand new. Please take a look at our photos, they are recent and should give you a good idea of the rental.

No parties, we are in a residential neighborhood (and have a downstairs tenant). Sorry, pets are not allowed in the house or entryway at all even if they are well-trained (due to allergies). Thank you for your consideration and enjoy your time in Girdwood, Alaska.

Our home is in a residential neighborhood. No parties, no drugs, no vaping, no smoking allowed.
To check out: Please load dirty dishes in dishwasher and start dishwasher; also please put towels in washing machine and start washer.
Please observe reasonable quiet hours and do not start washer or dryer after 9pm. A tenant lives on the ground floor (& owns all items in yard).

This vacation home is located in Alyeska, a neighborhood in Girdwood, and is in the mountains. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Chugach National Forest and Chugach State Park, while Crow Creek Mine and Hope & Sunrise Museum are cultural highlights. Kenai Visitor 's Center and Sound Paddler are also worth visiting.

Great stay and host!
The house fit our needs for a trip to Alyeska. The house had everything we needed - kitchen basics, bedding, etc. Great location just a few minutes drive from the lifts. Jane was an incredible host! Great communication and when we ran into rental car problems she gave us a ride to the airport on no notice! Can’t thank her enough - highly recommended.

Wonderful home close to slopes
Great privacy with this end of cul-de-sac home that features, three bedrooms and a loft. It was more than enough room for my family of five and made it easy for us to commute just a couple of minutes to the slopes. Would definitely stay here again it has all of the necessities that you need. And the quality is great, communication with the host was excellent.

Mountainside heaven
Property was easy to get to and at the end of a quiet street. Owner is very helpful and home organized very well. Instructions from owner were very helpful and with enough detail to remove most questions. Owner was very responsive to our other questions. Home was spacious and well kept. Was a great stay!

I moved to Alaska in 1996 after working summer jobs in Denali National Park and Juneau. I am pleased to share this beautiful home in Girdwood close to so many of my favorite places.

Plenty of room for 6 people to vacation in a location with the comforts of home. Close to alpine and Nordic skiing, biking, hiking, rafting, just about everything Alaska has to offer. I've always loved spending time in and around Girdwood and think that you will too if you love the outdoors!
