Welcome to our newly renovated home away from home! Main floor features 2 bedrooms, full
bath, fully stocked kitchen with open concept dining and living areas. 2 additional bedrooms
located upstairs; each with their own door wall opening to a spacious balcony. Games, books,
magazines, TV, DVDs, and WiFi are provided. Outside you'll find a fire pit, grill and picnic table.
Hang your hammock amongst the Aspen trees in the backyard on the hill overlooking the quaint
town of Grand Marais!

Everything about our stay was great! Lots of room, everything we needed. The fire pit was perfect for a relaxing fire at the end of the day. Awesome location for access to beaches on Lake Superior and the bay, downtown Grand Marais and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Definitely would stay here again!

The perfect Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore spot !

It was a perfect central location for us to explore the Pictured Rocks/Lake Superior area ! Aspen house was exceptionally clean, quiet, light and airy and had everything we needed for our brief "mid-trip of the UP" stay, allowing us to recharge and relax. I very much appreciated having a washer and dryer ! Be sure you visit the Grand Marais beach and the working lighthouse in the evening and grab a meal at Lake Superior Brewing Co. ! Thank you again Leslie for having your cottage available for adventurers like us !

Peaceful and Cozy

We absolutely loved this stay in Grand Marais. I’d like to come back for the next season. Very comfy place to hangout, sleep and enjoy a bonfire. The town is quaint and the water is amazing. Very friendly people! We will be back. Darci

Pictured Rocks family getaway

Property was a great location. Grand Marais is on the north-east end of Pictured Rocks. There are several hiking trails on this end of the National Lakeshore. The small town was a great place to walk, eat, get ice-cream, and sit at the beach. Beautiful location. The property was a perfect fit for us (bring coffee filters - glad we had some along).

Cute and well maintained

Adorable little home with plenty of room for the 4 of us. Comfortable and clean living space, had all the basics of what we needed. Appreciated the washer and dryer! Sweet little town and beautiful beach nearby!

Nice stay

We had a nice stay for a snowmobile weekend. Overall clean. The driveway was plowed and we had plenty of room for 3 small trailers. Rooms were nice sizes and beds were very firm. Great size bathroom. Lots of games left to play with. There was a brand new wood stove in the main living...but no wood, so we couldn't us it and it looked as thought it had not been used ever it was that new. (wasn't listed as having a wood stove). A dishwasher was listed but there wasn't one. Which on vacation is huge bummer. Neighbors were a bit close, which we weren't expecting and had a bit of guilt for disturbing the small quiet neighborhood in town with our sleds. It rained and froze a lot and there was no salt out for us to use on the steps. There were K-cup and 2 coffee pots (K cup was hit or miss with making a cup as planned or draining the water reservoir when you pressed the power button, 1 coffee pot didn't work at all.) Just a few issues but overall it worked out well. We had a nice time and will stay again.

Where’s the dishwasher?

A dishwasher is included in the amenities listing which is a must have for me to book a rental especially when there is a large group. It was very disappointing to arrive at the location and find no dishwasher.

Great times with friends at a super Cabin!

We had 3 families with small children (total of 5 adults and 5 kids ages 6 months-5 years old) and this cabin was just perfect. Plenty of sleeping space and room to play. Within walking distance to town, even with small children. Walked to the park, Lake Superior, and the brewery. The house was very well appointed and I cannot think of a thing that we wishes we had.

Perfect for what we needed

Everything worked perfect for us on this total last minute booking, literally booked the night before on a last minute. House was unlocked upon arrival with some helpful menus and other area literature on the kitchen table for us. Worked great as a central location for our adventures around the U.P., will definitely stay again next time we venture north!!!!
