Riverfront home surrounded by San Juan Nat'l Forest

My home has 3 bedrooms with a loft to allow up to 10 guests. It has a downstairs master so no steps required. King beds are easily converted to singles and custom bunk beds are extra long twins to accommodate most adults. The kitchen is gas and fully stocked with most everything a guest would want. The gas fireplace is heavenly. Almost 1000 Sq ft of decking to enjoy the amazing views, night skies and listen to the river. The San Juan National Forest is literally across the road so walking and hiking opportunities are minutes away. Pagosa Springs is know for its Hot Springs. Downtown is 6 miles away; Wolf Creek Ski Area is 16 miles away. Great little town with live music, shopping, local brew pubs, wine, restaurants & many local events. Pagosa Springs has plenty of outdoor options including horseback riding, rafting, golf, balloon rides and much more.
I currently self manage my home so guests will be dealing with me, the owner. I am always happy to share as much information as I can with my guests..

Riverfront Bliss

Loved the house. Had a few issues with the outside of the property. Weeds galore. It could be so beautiful if they would upkeep the landscape. The owner was very responsive and kind and felt bad about that. Comfy beds! Towels need replaced they are thin and stained. Easy fix. No A/C which I thought would be an issue but it wasn't! Great fans in the house. Kitchen stocked fully! Beautiful neighborhood and the river was amazing. There were floaties to use and bikes to ride! The decks are outstanding but we needed to reach out to owner for them to be cleaned. Lots of cobwebs and pollen but that's to be expected in Pagosa!

Beautiful

House was as described and beautiful. The proximity to the San Juan river was amazing. Literally right out the back door. Drinking coffee on the porch listening to the river every morning was incredibly relaxing. The owner was very communicative and provided many recommendations for local activities and food.

Beautiful, well-set up cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location was excellent, in a secluded neighborhood, yet a short drive to town. Though there are neighbors, you feel as if you're in the middle of the forest, surrounded by the sounds of the river (which offered lots of fun exploration for the kids & tranquility for the adults). The house is very thoughtfully set-up with plenty of space for all the family (including adult children) to relax. It had all the kitchen necessities, plus many extras (enough coffee, tea, TP, shampoo/cond/soap for the whole stay). We enjoyed the fire pit each evening. Host was very nice and thorough in communication so we knew what to expect. We would definitely stay here again!

Paradise

We have been coming to Pagosa Springs for 15 years and this experience was the best one yet. The cabin is very well laid out and relaxing. Instructions were very clear and the cabin was extremely well stocked. The upper and lower decks were where we spent the most time. The beds were very comfortable too. We hope to return to this cabin again and thank you Linda, for a wonderful week of relaxation!

Anniversary Trip

This property was the absolutely perfect place to celebrate our 42nd anniversary! We spent countless hours outside on the deck listening to the mesmerizing sound of the San Juan River. If you enjoy cooking, like us, the kitchen did not disappoint. It was fully stocked with all the essentials and more. The bed was very comfortable as was the rest of the house. It definitely felt like home! The amount of information that Linda provided us was very helpful in our day to day planning. We look forward to our return visit to the Rockin River Retreat!

Placidity

Lovely home, very clean, enjoyed the sounds of the river, which is right there in the front yard. The neighborhood was great, peaceful and beautiful. My husband loved the fly fishing and easy access to the river. We would definitely go back and stay again.

Wonderful Area

The house is located right on the river with easy access out the back fence. Really nice area. The house itself is well kept and well stocked with everything you would need. There are great views of the river, especially from the upstairs living area and sitting on the deck is like having your own dock right on the water. It's a 6-7 minute drive into Pagosa Springs so getting to everything is really easy. My wife and I spent 4 nights there as part of an anniversary trip and the host sent us a list of restaurants with recommendations for our anniversary dinner. She also included a number of local attractions that she recommended. It was all a great help. Overall, we were completely satisfied with the house, the area and the host communications. Great stay.

Great time

My family and I enjoyed our week at the Rockin River Retreat. It was nice to sit on the deck where we could see and hear the river. The kids enjoyed playing in the water as well. It was obvious our host put a lot of thought into making this a great vacation home.

Wonderful house on the river.

We absolutely loved this house. It was clean and the perfect set up for my family. My husband and I stayed in the master suite downstairs and my daughter and her family had the upstairs to themselves. The house was right on the river and the grandkids loved floating on tubes down the river. The house is very well stocked and the owner was extremely helpful with local information and restaurants. a time!

Amazing Location!!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this property! Ms. Linda the owner was very easy to communicate with and when we requested the dates of our stay be changed she was quick to accommodate our request. The property is beautiful and was well stocked with all of the comforts of home. The view was great and the sound of the running water was incredibly peaceful. Nice quiet neighborhood and a short drive to Wolf Creek Ski Area where we spent the majority of our time. We look forward to coming back again next Spring Break!

Privileged for the Opportunity

We feel privileged that Linda opened up her beautiful home to us. The house is nestled in the back of the neighborhood with the mountains on one side and the river on the other. What a setting! The house was well stocked with everything we needed from towels to dinnerware. We only had to purchase groceries for the meals we cooked. Thank you Linda for opening your home to us and for being so available when we had any questions. We are already looking forward to next year!

Serene Destination

The house was right on the river at the end of a edition which made our stay very relaxing. It is very clean and well stocked with all the essentials. It was the perfect location to spend a few days just relaxing and escaping the Texas heat! Will stay there again.

Great Property

Great location right on the river. Only minutes from town. Fishing is ok by the house, but it gets a lot of pressure. Plenty of other water nearby to try. Probably the best stocked house Ive ever stayed at.

Excellent Stay!

The house was in the perfect location. Just a short drive into Pagosa Springs and a short drive to Wolf Creek Ski area. The house was very clean, well stocked, and organized. The sound of the river behind the house was peaceful and the view of the mountains were spectacular!

My family visited the San Juan River Village neighborhood and fell in love with the area. When it came time to look for a vacation home, it was one of my top priorities. There were no existing homes available at the time, so I custom built this home.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Sitting on the decks listening to the river and wildlife make me happy. The night skies are glorious, I've never seen so many stars! I love the small town vibe, incredible restaurants and great local artisans.
