A lakeside cottage on Lake Keowee (completed August 2021). The home is located mid lake in Six Mile, SC conveniently located 13 miles to Clemson University. The lake front home is in a gated community, has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a additional 5th room with a bunk house that can comfortably sleep 14 people. It is situated in a large quiet cove with expansive water and mountain views. Enjoy your early morning kayaking or afternoon tubing without ever leaving the cove. The home itself is designed to have a modern farmhouse feel, made for entertaining, whether it be for families or for an adult getaway. The MAIN LEVEL has an open floor plan, a master bedroom with on-suite, one additional bedroom with 2 queens and a full bathroom for guests. In addition, the main level features a living room with gas burning fireplace where you can relax and watch your favorite college football game or favorite movie on the 65” TV. The wide-open floorplan makes it easy for entertaining. The back deck off the main level features a wood burning fireplace with rocking chairs for relaxation and smores at night. It also has a farmhouse raised table to enjoy your meals outside. Enjoy cooking and amazing lakeside views all at the same time. This farmhouse kitchen is supplied with all the pots, pans, utensils, and cooking supplies including crockpot, toasters and blender. There is a full sized washer and dryer for your use on the main level as well. On the terrace level there is a second living room, 2 standard bedrooms, a 3rd room which is a bunk house with 4 twin beds. Terrace level features 1.5 baths. In the living area, there are three couches, a 65” TV, a full wet bar with convenient access outside to the lake. Bedroom #3 has a queen bed and bedroom #4 has a king. Bedroom #5 is one feature that all kids enjoy, the bunk house, where you will hear the kids giggling the entire vacation. There is a ping pong table for some friendly competition in the living area and corn hole boards for outside. Our family enjoys board games which are available for guests to enjoy. There is a grille for cooking off the terrace as well. There is also a covered dock which can accommodate two additional boats for guests. The owners boat stay in the covered slip. In addition, there are two jet ski docks to accommodate two jet skis if guests want to rent or bring their own. Our cove is great for swimming and all water sports alike. The home comes with 3 Kayaks and 2 paddleboards to have fun on the water. The house is conveniently located 2 miles from Sunset Marina (Store, boat rental, launch/landing, fuel and supplies). 11 miles to Seneca and 13 miles to Clemson University.
