Charming Studio / Cottage in Marina BHI & Shoals Club Available

Welcome to "Earth" one of the four Element Cottages perched on the edge of Bald Head Island's 10-acre marina.

With the marina on one side and the creek across the street, this cozy and bright one bedroom cottage has beautiful harbor views and is steps to the shops, restaurants and beach accesses of Harbour Village.

The cottage features a queen size bed and a full bath with shower. The kitchenette offers a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker, as well as kitchen basics.

A four-seater golf cart is available to explore the island and its beaches.

In addition, guests have the ability to purchase a temporary House Membership to the Bald Head Island Club which offers members the right to use the dining facilities of the Club and the Pool only. Membership is also available at the picturesque Shoals Club featuring oceanside dining, pool, and scenic views. Pricing varies with time of year.

Bed linens and bath towels are included.

There are NO beach chairs or beach towels at the cottage.

We highly enjoyed staying here. The host is wonderful. We had a minor issue that was not the fault of the owners, but just something out of their control and they were so gracious and hurried to make our experience the best possible. We did wish there was a little stove or hot plate bc we love to cook our own food BUT
 there are plenty of places to eat on the island. We will definitely stay here again. It was absolutely wonderful to wake up and see the marina. 10’out of 10 recommend

This little cottage is adorable! Perfect for two people; with a comfortable bed, a "kitchenette", and a decent-sized bathroom. Very clean!! It is a short golf cart ride away from anything you might want to do, and the golf cart cost is included! We enjoyed everything about our stay here.

The golf cart was such a fun part of our stay. We loved cruising around. The location so close to the ferry made come and going very easy.

Ideal Location

Really enjoyed our stay at Earth Cottage! All the amenities are provided. Just minutes from the ferry, right on the marina. Walking distance to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plus ice cream! The beaches are awesome (!!), and the golf cart provided is perfect for exploring all that BHI has to offer! We will be back!

Perfect rental for a romantic weekend trip

We enjoyed taking our boat down for the weekend and staying at Earth. The property manager assisted in making sure we had a slip in the marina waiting and that everything was ready for us! We took advantage of the membership options for the shoals club and can’t wait to come visit again!

Quick couples getaway

We took boat down and were able to get a slip very close to Earth. Great location for us. Secured a Shoals Club guest membership. Cart that came with Earth isn’t a looker but gets you to market and other end of island quickly! Accommodated an early check in which was awesome. Perfect spot for two for a few nights!

Bald Head Island EARTH is a great place to visit. I would say that the tram attendants were wonderful, but the office people were not very helpful.

Katie is amazing

I had planned a fun weekend away here at this house for my wife and I's first anniversary. Unfortunately, life got in the way and Katie and Eddie were unable to give me this specific house for the weekend. Katie calls me and figures out two brilliant solutions to the problem immediately. No questions asked, simply told me the problem and her solution. My wife and I had an amazing time and weekend on Bald head simply because of Katie's hard work and dedication to making sure no matter what we enjoyed our vacation. No matter which property you stay at, just know that they will look out for you no matter what happens. I cannot recommend them enough. I had an amazing time and it was an incredibly special weekend. Bald Head is truly unique and staying there was such a pleasure. I only live right across the river and it still was something of a dream. Thank you Katie and Eddie for your wonderful communication and accommodations. I really appreciate it and I cant wait to stay with you all again!

Great Compact Cottage on the Water!

We love Bald Head and only had time for a quick visit. Earth bungalow is ideal for two who want beautiful harbor sunset views, a tiny kitchen (no stove), and easy access from the ferry to shops and restaurants. Coffee close by too. We appreciated the use of the golf cart and chairs and had an easy time working with the super responsive management. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
