* Amazing hiking trails adjacent to property! You can hear the waterfall sitting on the balcony!
* Connestee Falls amenities include: golf, tennis, hiking, fishing, restaurants, etc
* Dogs welcome (additional fee) $50 due at checkin
* amenity fee $100 due at checkin (owner will send charge at checkin) Gated community charges $150 to owners. We pay $50 and the guests pay other portion of the gated amenity fees


This cozy cottage has spectacular views while you dine indoors or outdoors with family and friends. Sit and sip wine while enjoying the sights and sounds that nature provides in the evenings. Warm-up in the hot tub morning, noon, and night. While you relax, your children will be intertwined playing ping pong or old school PacMan, Frogger, and Galaga. Take a steep, hairpin, rolling bike ride throughout North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains. In the summertime, take a dip in the community pool. Play a partner in a game of tennis. The best of all... bring your furry friend. Dogs are welcome here at our cottage in Connestee. This home has parking for up to four SUVs, with easy access to the house from the driveway

We had a wonderful time at this adorable lakeside mountain luxury cabin. It was full stocked including a welcome gift and smore sticks :-). We enjoyed hiking to waterfalls and then relaxing in the wonderful hot tub while our teens played ping pong. Fabulous time. Just wish the old fashioned pac man machine wasn’t out of order

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house, the neighborhood and the view are phenomenal. Plus there were plenty of things to do in the house when we weren't out exploring nature.

Connestee Falls is a great vacation place — lots of gentle trails with beautiful waterfalls and streams. Water at Ticoa Lake, where the house is located, is super clean. The house is very nicely situated on the lake. The house is nice with very comfortable beds and pillows, beautiful views of the lake and lots of nice outdoor seating. The kitchen is well equipped and the owner left lots of supplies for our use. The owner was super responsive to our questions and needs. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Wonderful lake front stay

My husband and I and our two small pups spent a relaxing week at this beautiful home in Connestee Falls. The house was well-equipped and we enjoyed the hot tub and other amenities. Great location in Connestee for walk-to access to trails and fairly close to main gate and clubhouse.

Great Location

We stayed here to enjoy hiking the nearby DuPont State and Nisgah National Forests. The best hike ended up being right on the Conestee property (Amakola Loop). The view from the living room, deck or the hot tub out to the lake are all great, as was the kayaking on the lake. Very comfortable. We’d come again.

Great Vacation Home; Wish we could live there forever!

This is a beautiful house. The owners thought of everything to make it a comfortable stay. It was cold during our trip so we were not able to make use of the kayaks but we hope to go back during the summer next time. Lots of great trails for hiking both in the neighborhood, Dupont State Park and Pisgah National Forest. We did trails in all three. And, we even saw a young bear just down the street from the house! It was perfect!!!!

A perfect getaway

We loved our stay here! Communication with Jenni was prompt and easy. The development (Conestee Falls) is gorgeous and fun to explore. We also loved the clubhouse grill. Staff and food were both excellent. This house is unique but well appointed and very comfortable. It’s also very dog friendly and outdoor space has different areas on multiple levels that are fenced in. The hot tub was a hit and the view is spectacular. With all the amazing water amenities we want to come back in the summer to take advantage of that. We would definitely rent this place again!!!

Beautiful property and location

Property is exactly as described and is located in a gated community in an absolutely gorgeous setting. We fully enjoyed the use of the kayaks, paddle boards, and the paddle boat on the private lake. The hosts had taken great care to include little touches to make our stay even better.. including a surprise gift bag with wine! We have 3 teen/adult children and they loved the ping pong table and we able to play a round of golf at the award winning golf course in the neighborhood. There are great hiking trials within the community that led to waterfalls. The town of Brevard is just a short 15-20 minutes down the mountain and we enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Square Root Cafe and shopping. Wonderful getaway and great communication with hosts! We will be back!

Family Reunion

This is our second time at this property and we loved it even more. The location is so great. We went hiking to waterfalls. Took the boat out and caught several trout and bass. Beds are comfortable. Incredible views.

Best Vacation Home Stay Ever!

We have stayed at dozens of vacation rentals, and this home is the best we've seen as far as amenities, cleanliness, and communication with the owners. Everything was perfect, the home was amply stocked with everything we needed, the beds are the most comfortable we've had in any rental, and the surroundings were very peaceful. We will definitely be back in the future!

Wonderful experience

My family had an amazing time staying here. The house is very nicely appointed, very dog friendly, and has lots of funs things to keep everyone entertained. The owners were lovely and very responsive. We would absolutely stay here again!

Hey there! We live in New Bern, North Carolina. We love the mountains and spending time in Brevard is one of our favorite escapes. We have two active teens and two sweet dogs, a Golden Retriever and a Bernese Mountain Dog. We think they enjoy the mountains in Brevard more than us. Your dogs are welcome too!

We love Connestee Falls and waking up to the view of Ticoa Lake. Hiking trails are just outside the back door. There is so much to choose from within the community including a communal pool, golf, bocce ball, tennis, hiking, kayaking, paddleboating, fishing, nature, and so much more!

What is so great about this location our home is convenience. We have the lake right outside our backyard. Our home includes two stand up paddle boards and a non motorized pontoon boat. Guests can use our private hot tub, four mountain bikes, fishing poles, etc. Inside the home there are games for all.
