The master bath is equipped with a shower and bathtub as well as double sinks. An additional bedroom on the second floor has a queen size bed and itâs own private bathroom with a tiled shower as well as a private deck opening to a view of Bass Harbor. First floor has 2 bedrooms, one with 2 twins and the other a Queen that share a bathroom with shower and 2 sinks. Beautiful modern kitchen with a large center island and back to back fireplaces one in kitchen and the other in the enclosed porch. Lovely sitting room open to kitchen with access to a large furnished deck perfect for watching the sunset to the west. Washer and dryer room on first floor. The home has a maximum occupancy of 8. The perfect spot to enjoy the peace of the Quietside of the Island yet just a short drive to all that Acadia has to offer.
The location was perfect- quiet, private and with beautiful views of the water. And only minutes from Southwest Harbor. Plenty of space for 5 adults and one 9 year. Meal preparations were easy to accomplish in the well equipped kitchen. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
We had a wonderful stay in this nicely appointed home. The kitchen was well supplied, the beds comfortable, and the two upstairs bedrooms provided beautiful views of the water from their sitting rooms.
This property is a lovely house in a beautiful setting. The public spaces (kitchen, living room, sitting room, deck) are great and worked well for our group of 4 couples. The bedroom/bathroom situation was not as well suited to our group. The two upstairs bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are exceptional accommodations for two couples. The two downstairs bedrooms are not nearly as large or nice and the downstairs floor plan does not really work for two couples. Both bedrooms come off a short hall and share a common bathroom. The bedroom with the trundle beds lacks a door so privacy is an issue. The other bedroom is nice but small but the real issue is that the only two doors in this room are barn doors. One of the barn doors opens to the short hall directly across from the trundle bedroom with no door so no privacy for the trundle bedroom if you use that door. The bigger issue was that the second barn door from the bedroom opened to the shared bathroom so you could hear all of the bathroom noises from the bedroom. This bathroom is also where the laundry is situated so again a noise issue. Overall just not a good setup for the two couples in the downstairs bedrooms. If your group is smaller or you have family or kids who would be comfortable in the downstairs bedrooms/shared bathroom situation, I cannot recommend this house enough but I canât recommend it for a group of four couples even though it can sleep 8 as described in the listing.
51 Ann's is a beautiful, well-appointed home with space for a large family. Grounds were lovely- high tide particularly enchanting as the tidal river flows by! Our family truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return!
The house is great and the views are gorgeous. We had multiple generations staying with us and all were happy. There are multiple spots to read a book, play games and take in the scenery. The yard is large and landscaped so nicelyâ perfect for throwing a ball around or just admiring the flowers. It is close to everything (we went to Bar Harbor, many hikes/sites in Acadia with ease). Stacy was responsive to all of our questions. We had a great time! Thank you!
Beautiful waterfront home with spacious backyard on quiet street.
My family had an incredible time there. We played a lot of whiffle ball and baseball in the back yard while we watched the tides come in and out. Would definitely rent again. Host was very supportive during the stay. We did all the cool hikes and visited Bar Harbor which is about 30-40 minutes away. Plenty of great restaurants nearby and not as touristy as Bar Harbor.
We loved the house and location. It was beautiful, spacious and perfect for 6 adults and two teens. We have stayed in Bar Harbor but were looking for something a little more quiet.
This home was really nice. Very clean, updated bathrooms and kitchen. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Secluded and quiet, but just a short drive to trails and shopping. Host was very responsive. She even dropped off a pair of binoculars for us to use. We really enjoyed our stay.
We loved everything about the house-the location was ideal and the house perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 teens. We all agreed that if we can come back, we will!
Incredibly large & well taken care of property. Loved the landscaping and outdoor space for quiet sitting time and fun with our almost 2 yr old grandchild. Everything is thought of in this home. Many extras! Appreciated games too. Pretty decor. Separate spaces for each. Liked the doors to "porch/eating area" which mimimized noise early am time. Windows on all sides for view & upstairs rooms were a 10+!! Enjoyed meals in wonderful kitchen! Southwest Harbor was close...plenty of trails & great little restaurants there & within 5-10 min. Bar Harbor an easy drive & fun picturesque town. Definitely recommend this home. You will love it!! Hope to come back!!
The home was absolutely beautiful with 3 large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom! The two upstairs bedrooms had wonderful sunrooms which was a great place to start the day with a cup of coffee. The home was well stocked with everything you could possibly need! The landscaping was absolutely gorgeous with flowering trees and bushes and lots of privacy. We totally enjoyed the tidal pool. Sitting by the water was so peaceful. I truly hope to come back and stay here again!
