Perché sur les falaises de Mendocino Bay et directement face à Mendocino Village, Chapman Point House offre une vue qui a été convoité par des artistes et des curieux pendant des décennies tout droit dans le confort de votre salon.

Construit en 1963 par un professeur d'architecture, chaque chambre dispose d'un océan magnifique et vue Mendocino. La maison est encadrée avec crainte inspirant 150 ans coupées à la main vieilles poutres en séquoia géant (chevalets récupéré) et le plancher est de 3 "d'épaisseur érable d'un bowling San Francisco. mobilier moderne, avec une belle Redwood dalle table à manger et bar aide rendre la maison chaleureuse et accueillante. La combinaison d'éléments rustiques et modernes en font un endroit vraiment unique et spécial.

Le salon principal offre une vue panoramique sur l'océan à travers lequel vous serez fasciné par les vagues de l'océan pendant la journée et les lumiÚres scintillantes de Mendocino la nuit. Séjour et cuisiner dans la cuisine entiÚrement équipée ou déguster quelques-uns des nombreux restaurants à Mendocino.

Chapman Point est également juste à cÎté de Ranch Park Spring, laissant ses hÎtes explorer miles de promontoires et de prairies tentaculaire tout le chemin à Van Damme Beach. Observation des baleines, observation des oiseaux, randonnée, marée-marée ou pique-nique pendant des heures et c'est à quelques pas de votre porte d'entrée. We have stayed before, and last time and this time, enjoyed watching some fantastic storms roll past our floor to ceiling windows. All the while cozy next to the pellet stove.So close to Mendocino that we could either pick up groceries to cook or enjoy a local restaurant.Highly recommend this gem of a vacation home.

The house was pretty. We like the 2 wings, separate rooms. The kitchen and the living room in the middle. The view was beautiful and the hot tub was very nice. This kitchen was very modern. That's a barbecue, could be updated, but it worked just fine. The beams and the floors we're very beautiful..

Location and view were amazing. Linens need upgrade.

The property is absolutely magical. The architecture of the building and how it is positioned on the land with the flora, fauna and the views of Mendocino and the Ocean is second to none. For the price of the rental the linens were old, severely pilly and scratchy to sleep on. In the 2nd bedroom the pillows were rock hard and we were unable to sleep on them (they are decorator pillows not sleeping pillows). It would be convenient to be able to pick up the keys at the property instead of having to drive into town to find them and then having to drop them off again. Modern technology easily affords check in at the property.

Morning coffee on the deck and evenings by the fire will be hard to beat anywhere with that view. Thank you for having us!

I left a long list of maintenance that needs to be done to the house. The hot tub lid was waterlogged and impossible for old women to get on and off!! Needs a bar for easy lifting. The inside ficus tree is toxic to dogs and leaves were falling constantly. Should not be in house that is dog friendly. The house was clean (except for under one bed) and plenty of cookware. Wonderful stay.

Incredible view.

Your pictures do not do justice to the wonderful view of the Pacific not only from the deck but also from the large windows in the house. It was a wonderful introduction to the coast. The village and restaurants were lovely.

Amazing in every way

This house is truly amazing! Words or photos cannot accurately describe. Unfortunately l, Mother Nature had some big fun just prior to our arrival. Cindy, The property manager, went above and beyond to communicate with us about power outage and road conditions before we arrived. Due to the storm we almost didn’t make it- but I’m so glad we did. Staying at this property was really a once in a lifetime adventure!
