Immaculate, freshly painted and decorated to make you feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen allows one to prepare meals if one wishes. The bedroom has a queen size bed, fresh crisp white linen. You are provided with laundry detergent, a washer and dryer, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The bathroom is equipped with a rain shower, white towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. A small deck below offers a view of the bay, incoming fishing boats and colorful sunsets.

Séjour agréable au Blue Pearl

Nous avons séjourné quelques jours au Blue Pearl et avons été charmés par l'endroit ! L'appartement était trÚs propre et bien équipé. Il est facile d'échanger avec l'hÎte. Nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner !

Une semaine parfaite à Chéticamp

Nous avons passĂ© une trĂšs belle semaine Ă  la Perle Bleue. L’appartement est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©, propre et bien localisĂ© en bordure du port. Nous avons Ă©tĂ© bien accueillis, l’appartement est dĂ©corĂ© avec goĂ»t et avec beaucoup de petites attentions de la part de nos hĂŽtes. Nous avons particuliĂšrement apprĂ©ciĂ© la cuisine trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Je recommande chaleureusement l’endroit. Merci Sandra et Roland

We loved the Blue Pearl! It was spacious, clean and well equipped. It was wonderful to sit on the porch down below the unit and look at the harbour. We enjoyed having the use of the washer/dryer to freshen up some clothes. Sandra left us some goodies to celebrate a special anniversary which was most appreciated. All in all, it was a very good experience.

Wonderful place to stay! Couldn't have been better! Fully equipped modern kitchen with an island, a full fridge and stove, lots of pots, pans and cooking utensils, small Keurig coffee maker, microwave, kettle. The washer and dryer were such a bonus and just at the right point in our vacation. Beautifully decorated with such attention to detail, artwork, colours, etc. Really nice bathroom with a large shower. Really enjoyed sitting on the comfortable chairs on the deck overlooking the boats in the harbour. Every detail has been considered at The Blue Pearl!

We stayed at Blue Pearl 4 nights, and it was a perfect location to explore the west side of Cape Breton. Blue Pearl is spotless, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed and more. Healthy eating can be a challenge away from home so having a good kitchen with sharp knives and lots of dishes is greatly appreciated. As is a washer & dryer when you are on a long road trip. We would definitely stay here again!

The Blue Pearl was cozy, clean and exceptionally well stocked. The location was convenient to good restaurants, grocery, Cape Breton National Park. I enjoyed the attractive small deck and the views from there. A great stay!

Perfect size and location for a week of exploring. It's close to restaurants, grocery stores and gas! The kitchen had what I needed for meals at home, too! It's a beautiful area and easy to get to.

Great location with everything you need( and want) !

The house is as close to perfect as you will find. Located in the heart of Cheticamp, the house is cute, nicely laid out, and stocked with everything and I mean everything you would ever need. The kitchen is fully stocked, ready for you to cook a gourmet meal. The owner has thoughtfully included a variety of spices, coffee, milk and a fresh loaf of banana bread. . If cooking outdoors is more your style, there is a gas grill on the cute back deck, overlooking the marina. If you don’t want to cook, you are in walking distance to a number of restaurants, including one across the street. The bathroom towels are plush and the house includes a variety of hygiene products. There is also a washer/dryer in the unitCheck in is seamless, as you receive the door code prior to arrival. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Pearl.

Highly recommend

This was the best equipped, most tastefully decorated place I have ever stayed. It even included sharp knives and baking pans—in case you are inclined to bake on your holiday. Perfectly situated just outside Cape Breton National Park so hiking and views are very close. Located in the village of Cheticamp so access to restaurants, grocery store and other amenities are within walking distance. Parking is easy too. I would book here again and again.

Cheticamp Gem

Our stay at the Blue Pearl was absolutely wonderful. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, and very well equipped. It was lovely being able to easily do laundry after being on the road for a week and a half. Sandra and Roland were delightful hosts and made us feel so welcome. They have a private little sitting area ready for their guests that looks out to the marina. The Pearl is also conveniently located in Cheticamp, making it easy to walk to one of the local restaurants or the marina to go out whale watching. I highly reccomend the Blue Pearl to anyone staying in the Cheticamp area.

absolutely loved this place . clean and tidy , fresh banana bread welcoming us close to cabot trail and restaurants, especially Gabriel’s across the road a must , the food and staff were excellent . This place was very relaxing sitting outside in the patio provided, with a glass of wine watching the boats I highly recommend this place to any couples travelling along the cabot trail and looking for a place in to stay you won’t be disappointed. And Sandra was a charm meeting her great conversation and very welcoming. wish we had more time to spend there

The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and very well maintained. It has everything you could need, including a fully equipped kitchen. The location is convenient to the park and Cheticamp shops and restaurants. You couldn’t ask for a better place or better hosts. Highly recommended.

Great stay! The apartment was perfect- very clean and very well appointed. Fully stocked kitchen with great cutting knives and utensils. Small deck by the harbor that was great for an afternoon cocktail.

Great spot to unwind after busy days

The Blue Pearl was a quaint spot to unwind after long days of hiking in the park. We were close to a lot of trails in within. 20 min drive to some of our chosen ones. We watched sunsets from the private patio (located out the side door and down a few steps), cooked meals with lots of good cooking utensils. Bottomless coffee in the mornings was a nice little perk. And had hot showers and comfy sleeps. Parking is tricky at first being on a busy street, but by no means a big deal. Recommend this place to rest weary feet after days spent adventuring.

Beautiful and charming!

The property is exactly as advertised, homey and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable, best one of our trip. The kitchen has everything we needed to make meals. It just felt like a home away from home. The location is ideal, very close to the park, the water and the few key shops that we needed, groceries, Rx, etc. Perfect spot. We would definitely stay here again if we were lucky enough to come back. Finally, we really loved the artwork, done by the owner,. We also saw it sold at Freya and Thor down the road. She's very talented! Thanks for a lovely stay.

My dream was to return to Cheticamp Nova Scotia after spending years moving to different places with my husband Roland who was a military man. I am now where I want to be, by the ocean in my hometown. I love my village, the people and most of all the beauty that surrounds me.

This property is on the main street, but has a waterfront. One can walk to restaurants, bank, pubs, museums and of course to Le Portage Golf Course. The beautiful Cabot Trail is but a 10 minute drive and one can never be disappointed to be at this location.

Being downtown gives you the advantage of meeting local Acadians, going to a local restaurant or pub to eat and listen to local music, enjoy a glass of Nova Scotia wine, or beer without having to worry about driving.
