The Hatch House

The Hatch house is a 3 bedroom 3 bath home on the Steinhatchee river that sleeps 8 adults. The house has a private boat ramp and private 70-foot long by 10-foot wide deep water dock. Perfect for scallop season, fishing tournaments, or just getting out on the river. The home is family-friendly, and there is plenty of privacy.

We know your pets are part of the family. In order to protect our guests, pets are not allowed.

The kitchen is fully stocked, and the home is fully furnished.
The river views from the wrap around porch are stunning!

If you need to work away from home, we now have high-speed internet!

This place on the Steinhatchee River was everything I hoped for—private, safe, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The atmosphere was relaxing, and I especially loved spending time on the porch. It was the perfect getaway, and I definitely want to come back!

Very laid-back peaceful vacation. Kitchen was well equipped. Note that nearest grocery store is 50 mins one way. The dollar general does carry some groceries but not a lot of selection. We did canoe on the river in several spots and went out on the flats fishing and caught red fish and trout. House was very clean. Only quirk is master bathroom has no shower; it has a spa tub with a handheld. The other two baths are tub/shower combo. Guests with mobility issues should be aware. It was a great trip and the house and it's surroundings we're beautiful.

This house is everything and more! Can’t get anymore peaceful. The house was perfect as well! Enjoyed watching nature from inside the home thru all the glass doors and also on the deck. Boat ramp and dock is a MAJOR plus!

This property was absolutely amazing. The house was beautiful inside and the location was perfect. We had everything we needed. It’s like having three master suites which was awesome. It was large and roomy. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. Everything was really just great about this property and the owner was perfect as far as communication and giving us information sort of pointing us in the right direction for our scalloping adventures just overall very good experience. I would absolutely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at The Hatch House. Plenty of room for our family. We did some scalloping, fishing and went to Steinhatchee Falls. The home is very nice and clean. It's furnished well also. We'll be back!

Loved this place!

Great kitchen and living room space to watch football and cook our scallop meal. The dock was perfect for our two boats with enough space for a third. Loved the view while we drank coffee. Very clean and the host was wonderful to work with. We will definitely be coming back next year.

The pictures do not do this place justice, the great room was really wonderful for our family to prepare meals, play games, and spend quality time together, all with a great view of the water. The boat ramp and dock were excellent for our 22ft Bay boat and we had a great time scalloping.

Really nice house. Modern, open floor plan. Great views of river. A little long idle in boat to the gulf, but scenery is nice - and there’s nothing wrong with a little boat ride. Communication with owner / manager was easy and very efficient on a couple questions I had. We really enjoyed our stay!!

We decided to buy a place of our own so we can spend more time here. we are not ready for full time so we decided to share it with others so they can make memories as well. I hope you all enjoy the Hatch House as much as we do!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The Hatch House has some of the best views on the river. Across the river from us is a lush wooded forest and wetlands owned by the state. We have a boat ramp on the property so you don't have to wait at the ramp. There is room for your trailer too! We have a 30 foot floating dock with plenty of water in any tide.
